But then something tragic happened...I kept getting people telling me I smell like burnt rubber or like a car tire. Unfortunately that was enough to put me off the fragrance completely so I sold all backup bottles, but not only that I sold all the other clones of luna rossa black I had too like Navitus Sartorial Nuit

So much so that when it got discontinued, I scooped up 5 100ml bottles at an incredible steal of a price at a retailer that had them on clearance. What a score. I will never part ways with those.

I think Gisada is niche! But yeah, huge compliment getter, amazing scent, amazing projection and outstanding performance. Every women that smelled it on me or from the bottle had a nosegasm and eyerolled!

Guys Dior savage elixir is a banger with crazy projection. If you want a dark manly fragrance,there isn’t right now a better designer fragrance. It smells niche and unique. Gisada ambassador is more of a unisex fragrance. It isn’t very similar to sauvage elixir because of the fruitiness. Everyone has their own opinion but don’t sleep on sauvage. By the way I got both and love both but sauvage a little more.
Yeah I don’t get that hate. It’s so strong and so captivating it will absolutely get you noticed. I wear all kinds of fragrances out that I love the smell of and I never get a compliment on majority of what I wear yet every single I wear Sauvage elixir without fail I get all kinds of positive attention and compliments. It’s magnetic, that juice is magical im telling ya.
Gisada Ambassador isn't even in the same scent hemisphere as Sauvage Elixir. SE is a spicy, aromatic, fougere, while Ambassador is a synthetic, fruity mess. Ambassador Intense, on the other hand, could definitely be an easier to wear alternative to Sauvage Elixir.
I have used La Nuit de L'Homme for over 10 years. Married. Now that I separated it, I can't use it anymore. Now I use Spice Bomb Extreme. With excellent results.
I'd mixed sacred, absolutely, Mercedes Ben (black club), and fhakama for experience. There are times I fan smelled fhakama, then absolutely well sneak in, but vanilla is usually there. So far, my fav mix is sacred, Bleu Electrique, and Dolce Gabbana the one. Gives it that cotton candy smell
Many people don"t like JPG Scandal because they say it's too sweet for a men's fragrance. For sure it's sweeter than an average men's fragrance, but it's still masculine and sexy.
Prada Luna Rossa Black is another Iris masterpiece and should definitely make the list. Another belting Fougere which is underrated but always garners me compliments is Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum. Niche quality👍👍
Luna Rossa Black is a great scent, but no iris whatsoever. Could you be thinking of Prada L'Homme Intense? One of the best iris fragrances ever made IMO.

I like Le Male Le Parfum as well and while they could both be worn in similar situations, I tend to keep Uomo Intense for dressed up scenarios, whereas I find myself wearing Le Male Le Parfum with Polo shirts more often than not.

My favorite winter designer scent is Prada L’Homme Intense. It has such a luxurious smell, date night certified. Also on days that are not so cold I love to wear YSL Y Le Parfum nice sweet powdered sugar n fresh scent. Erica I love your selection but for me SWY Intensely wins over Absolutely cause on my skin it goes mothball after 4-6 hours.. Intensely has never failed me. Ima stick to that one Personal… Also Versace Eros Parfum is a good one as well definitely more Tonka n Amber forward n makes it a bit warmer then the others. All of my other winters are Niche, but Armani Code Absolu or EDP are go to for me in the cold. Let me know what ya think?? ✌🏻❤

Which Sauvage did you get? Also do not listen to all the Sauvage hate you hear out there, they all smell great and you will smell great wearing them be confident in what you wear don’t listen to negative feedback like what’s on the internet in the real world this stuff just works. I can only speak from wearing the elixir but everytime without fail i gets tons of compliments when I wear it.

Yeah, Guilty Elixir is amazing. People hate on the guilty lineup, but it’s quite good. The EDT is reminiscent of Chanel Allure Homme Sport, the EDP is crazy creative and unique, the Parfum is such a sleeper hit, and the elixir is the best release of 2023.

Well.. Gisada is niche and the Ambassador Intense is wayy better even in sales! (ok the commercial did the job too). Invictus Platinum still the best of them all the absint makes all the difference. The Elixir is another version of every 1 Million's today, less sweeter and more balanced.. Talking about 1 Million, Royal is way better less sweeter and more masculine/sexy then Parfum and is the best seller of the line this year. Im very surprised how you didnt mentioned the Versace Dylan Blue, damn!! that pepperie is so sexy, masculine on men!! and finally the Aqua Di Gio Profondo! I went to buy a gym frangance between this and Prada Luna Rossa EDT, so I bought the Prada, but damn!! the Gio Profondo smokiness is so good, so sexy and masculine!

Nice list Erica! Having smelled most of your suggestions : I am not a fan of JPG scandal. It smells like a mishmash of notes. TF Tobacco vanille is too sweet for me. TF Noir extreme Parfum is awesome and a women magnet. One of the best designer winter fragrances for me is Prada Luna Rossa Black (one of very few of designer fragrances i reach very often) . Also givenchy Gentleman Absolute is awesome and nobody talks about it.

I went into Bloom Perfumery in London. Wow!!: Ive been to 2 big Niche stores and this is much bigger. It was like going into a pharmacy. The customer needs to either have a list from the online store or give a good description of your scent intetests or cologne types. Then they lay down 5 to 10 bottles for you to try. I discovered 2 really cool frags (Kintsugi and Amygdala). Ive never smelled anything like these. Im not saying they are best but very pleasant. Russian Tea is also unique and fun. And much much better than Savauge Elixir. Actually Savauge Elixir is not good
To your comment about being a niche snob. I think once a reviewer starts becoming familiar and smelling so many fragrances then their taste in perfume develops and they start appreciating more complex and interesting scents. This can be difficult because if a reviewer is offering "top compliment getting scents" or make a video about scents that "most women would like" because they no longer have the taste in perfume that most women do anymore which is appreciating basic, mass appealling scents like Dior Savauge, ysl Y...etc.

Moving more towards niche is a natural progression. They're higher quality. They don't smell chemically and are less likely to give people headaches.

Yeah, Guilty Elixir is amazing. People hate on the guilty lineup, but it’s quite good. The EDT is reminiscent of Chanel Allure Homme Sport, the EDP is crazy creative and unique, the Parfum is such a sleeper hit, and the elixir is the best release of 2023.

Nice list. I appreciate your comments but I'm surprised there was no mention of Azzaro Most Wanted Parfum as you said you're a fan of ginger. Also... Iris in a fragrance, I love it. Prada L'Homme Intense is my absolute favourite.

I'm offended! Haha. Kidding, but I get a *lot* of compliments on Sauvage Elixir whenever I wear it. I actually don't wear it very often, because it seems to be pretty common... but when I do, like I said, it's a compliment getter.

Well.. Gisada is niche and the Ambassador Intense is wayy better even in sales! (ok the commercial did the job too). Invictus Platinum still the best of them all the absint makes all the difference. The Elixir is another version of every 1 Million's today, less sweeter and more balanced.. Talking about 1 Million, Royal is way better less sweeter and more masculine/sexy then Parfum and is the best seller of the line this year. Im very surprised how you didnt mentioned the Versace Dylan Blue, damn!! that pepperie is so sexy, masculine on men!! and finally the Aqua Di Gio Profondo! I went to buy a gym frangance between this and Prada Luna Rossa EDT, so I bought the Prada, but damn!! the Gio Profondo smokiness is so good, so sexy and masculine!

Nice list Erica! Having smelled most of your suggestions : I am not a fan of JPG scandal. It smells like a mishmash of notes. TF Tobacco vanille is too sweet for me. TF Noir extreme Parfum is awesome and a women magnet. One of the best designer winter fragrances for me is Prada Luna Rossa Black (one of very few of designer fragrances i reach very often) . Also givenchy Gentleman Absolute is awesome and nobody talks about it.
Love Prada black but it’s more of a date night/night time scent it’s not really strong enough for winter outside

i miss JPG le male elixir for sexy smell, l´eau d´issey for fresshies, dior homme intense (i igree) for office, tom ford ombre leather for suits and nights... 5 honorific positions: loewe 7 cobalt for fresh scent, allure homme sport for clean with Prada l´homme, eau savage for clasics and Aqua de gio parfum...

I went into Bloom Perfumery in London. Wow!!: Ive been to 2 big Niche stores and this is much bigger. It was like going into a pharmacy. The customer needs to either have a list from the online store or give a good description of your scent intetests or cologne types. Then they lay down 5 to 10 bottles for you to try. I discovered 2 really cool frags (Kintsugi and Amygdala). Ive never smelled anything like these. Im not saying they are best but very pleasant. Russian Tea is also unique and fun. And much much better than Savauge Elixir. Actually Savauge Elixir is not good
To your comment about being a niche snob. I think once a reviewer starts becoming familiar and smelling so many fragrances then their taste in perfume develops and they start appreciating more complex and interesting scents. This can be difficult because if a reviewer is offering "top compliment getting scents" or make a video about scents that "most women would like" because they no longer have the taste in perfume that most women do anymore which is appreciating basic, mass appealling scents like Dior Savauge, ysl Y...etc.
