I always felt like I'm the only one who ever liked Asuto, when I see him mentioned throughout the fandom, I usually see hate, same with Tenma. He's honestly my favorite lead protagonist when compared to Endou and Tenma. I hate how Orion ignored him for pretty much almost all of the season until around the end, he still lacks development, even with that kidnapping thing and all of that. Imo, as a character he was better in Ares, not to say he's bad in Orion, but lacks screentime, and is still underdeveloped as an character. Despite this, I feel happy for him in Orion's ending, even though it treated him poorly, the main lead.
@@sikisikiamimis Yeah, and it's not just with Inazuma Eleven, it happens in numerous of sequels of franchises where the original cast are replaced with new characters, in and out of anime. In all honesty I like Endou, but I do agree that he is terrible in Orion. He's a screentime consuming leech who pulls out a new hissatsu out of his ass so many times. Honestly, the OG Raimon members in Japan could've been like mentors for the new cast, them being older and all of that. They could play but not as much, and could've teached the new characters things, it would be like seeing their GO versions. Endou literally made the other keepers feel non-existent, Norika and Nishikage played two times respectively, and Saginuma didn't play at all when excluding his change to midfielder, cause he still did nothing besides take an eleven band, which isn't really big.

He's a perfect balance between the seriousness of Endou in OG, and the "genki-ness" of Tenma, but because he isn't Endou, every time he got a new hissatsu or fucking screentime all the comments about the episode were "wAAAA ASSPULL, WAAAA FUCKING WRITERS, WAAA ISN'T HE THE PROTAGONIST?" i know it's just a kids show but i wasn't expecting Level-5 wanking all about the OG Characters, and what the fuck about Last Resort, everyone was like "yeah that's the only thing we need" all over the season, Japan had like 20 FW, but they were like "waaaaa without gouenji we can't play" specially kidou (it kinda reminded me of Shindou in Galaxy), i think if we get another Season in the future, it won't be about new characters, i miss when Level 5 took risks (Goenji being villain, Endou leaving raimon go several times, the entire chrono stone season) but keeping it consistent with stuff established by the world of inazuma (everything solved by soccer, comfy moments, side characters evolving, feeling like a fucking soccer-rpg for once), orion did everything wrong, wtf with the drugs, knifes, pepper gas, electric shocks, boosters, the entire orion plot. Great video as always, no one kind of appreciates new characters, except if they're ikemen dicks
OG drones are the absolute worst, imagine making death threats to a fictional character just because he isn't Endou 😂 who btw is fucking garbage in Orion and makes Rey and Kirito blush with his infinite Mary Sueness.

Endou's passion for football sparks faaaaaar brighter so it's underwhelming, he is the reason I started playing football again even after hating it because no one wanted to play with me
I love Asuto so much, and one of my favourite things on him, is he's not annoying at all, and that's rare to a protagonist, I love Tenma and Endou as well but look at Endou's stupidness sometimes or he exgraate the power of friendship, that makes God Hand strongest hissatsu (that's became plot armour not friendship), or Tenma and his infamous sentence "sakka is crying" and kept force Tsurugi on weird way. Sure Asuto has less screentime but that's doesn't really annoye me since he still has a lot of screen time it's just Endou and Tenma (especially Tenma) were so important on their series as well as they has longer series.

Asuto may be one of my least favourite characters in the series but he did have some cool moments. I can see the appeal Asuto and I understand why some fans adored him but I personally couldn't stand him as a protagonist. He was too annoying for my tastes and I felt he barely developed as a character throughout the 75 episode run then again it was Orion and the only things that Orion was good at is pulling plots twists up it's ass as well shafting and butchering characters like Endou, Kidou, Shirou Hirito, Kazemaru etc.

OG drones hate whoever tries to replace Endou by default, it's sad but it's true, even when Endou in Orion is a horribly-written Mary Sue.
