Is there a law that prevents gays from the church? I mean prevent them from the word of God, the counsel of God, intercessions, the love of God, the love from the saints? Is there any? Being respectful is not the same as being truthful. The term same-sex couples is used once as the title of paragraph 13, but the paragraph content itself clarifies that it's referring to the persons and not the union.

@@dostondoc23I apologize. I guess I got polarized by the amount of propagandists against what the document actually says and omitted considering people who have legitimate concerns. The document is clear that the term couples refer to the sinners in the irregular relationship and not the union itself. (§4, 5, 6, etc.) To your question, the purpose is to receive Christ (§ 1) so that they could overcome their sin. The blessing is not a liturgical blessing (§ 11) but the common practice today for sinners and even things. This is in perfect accordance with Church's doctrine and there are plenty of teachings in the gospels were Christ approached sinners first so they could break out of sin later. Even some secular media reports this accurately so it's not impossible for religious media to understand it.

Thank you for clarification on the blessing of gay couple. It only means that the Catholic Church could not turn away anyone sinner or saint. But like the Pope said under certain condition. I'm a Catholic so whenever I ask for a blessing from priest I would say may matter to be blessed and the priest will blessed me on that matter while telling to accept Jesus Christ and pray to Him of may sins regarding may matters, like having conflict with my parents, and live life according to the teaching of Jesus Christ. So when a gay couple ask for a blessing the priest would not turned them away but could blessed them as a child of God who will be told to accept Jesus Christ and His teachings and turned away from their evil ways. Remember everyone, Jesus Christ went down from heaven for the sinner to saved and teaching the sinners of the word of God and giving them chance to repent. The Holy father said bless the unions, they didn’t say bless them individually. It means you didn’t even understand the document as well. Gay individuals have been in church for a long time. But the documents talks about blessing their union but in a local level without necessarily doing that in a church.

Blessings of God only come to those who truly need them(THE RIGHTEOUS). Blessing is not an ordinary thing that can be waved about. Even if one steps forward for blessing it is your full duty to pass that blessing even if that person just finished fornicating but it all depends on that person whether he or she themselves are deserving of that blessing. And offcourse if you see the person is not worth the blessing that is if you saw that person in fornication with your eyes don't bless but offer advice of repentance then bless after repentance. Jesus didn't just bless anyone, he saw the hearts and passed his blessing that is why those he blessed never returned to sin. And for the prisons, it is prisoners that accept and approach that recieve blessing even at execution. The beatitudes never said blessed are those in the state of sin. Blessings only come to sinners whom have a repentant heart and that is what Jesus saw and blessed he didn't bless the pharisees for a reason.

Being respectful is not the same as being truthful. The term same-sex couples is used once as the title of paragraph 13, but the paragraph content itself clarifies that it's referring to the persons and not the union.

The document is clear that the term couples refer to the sinners in the irregular relationship and not the union itself. (§4, 5, 6, etc.) To your question, the purpose is to receive Christ (§ 1) so that they could overcome their sin. The blessing is not a liturgical blessing (§ 11) but the common practice today for sinners and even things. This is in perfect accordance with Church's doctrine and there are plenty of teachings in the gospels were Christ approached sinners first so they could break out of sin later. Even some secular media reports this accurately so it's not impossible for religious media to understand it.

Thank you for clarification on the blessing of gay couple. It only means that the Catholic Church could not turn away anyone sinner or saint. But like the Pope said under certain condition. I'm a Catholic so whenever I ask for a blessing from priest I would say may matter to be blessed and the priest will blessed me on that matter while telling to accept Jesus Christ and pray to Him of may sins regarding may matters, like having conflict with my parents, and live life according to the teaching of Jesus Christ. So when a gay couple ask for a blessing the priest would not turned them away but could blessed them as a child of God who will be told to accept Jesus Christ and His teachings and turned away from their evil ways. Remember everyone, Jesus Christ went down from heaven for the sinner to saved and teaching the sinners of the word of God and giving them chance to repent. Rescinding the declaration for priests to bless the same sex couple is the most exalted gift Pope Francis can give to the Church for the new year.

The Church teaches about marriage that: Marriage is a faithful, totally committed, indissoluble union of man and woman. And it is ordained by God for procreation and education of children. Truly, it is hard to accept this Church Teaching on marriage and appreciate the recent declaration to bless the same sex couple. The key elements of the Church Teaching include; man, woman, faithfulness, indissolubility procreation and education of children, as ordained by God. None of the above-mentioned elements is supported by the recent declaration for the same sex couple blessing.
The declaration is not a request of blessing for a couple of individuals.It is a request of blessing for a couple of the same sex. It is not just a blessing of couples. It is a blessing for the same sex couple. Hence, it is not a blessing for persons. It is a blessing for the same sex couple concept.
The declaration can also be chaotic in the dioceses. The blessing is said to be informal. Bishops and Bishops conferences are not required to formulate prayers for the blessing. Priests may spontaneously provide blessings to couple who approach them. Priests are free to do it in their own way. There is no protection against excesses since the blessing follows no pattern.
Another concern for the declaration is that it ruffles with the chain of command in the church. The declaration, approved by the Pope, is not mandatory, yet it requests from the priest to decide and act by his judgement to bless the same sex couple
Incidentally, same sex couple interactions are prohibited as crime in some countries. Blessings of God only come to those who truly need them(THE RIGHTEOUS). Blessing is not an ordinary thing that can be waved about. Even if one steps forward for blessing it is your full duty to pass that blessing even if that person just finished fornicating but it all depends on that person whether he or she themselves are deserving of that blessing. And offcourse if you see the person is not worth the blessing that is if you saw that person in fornication with your eyes don't bless but offer advice of repentance then bless after repentance. Jesus didn't just bless anyone, he saw the hearts and passed his blessing that is why those he blessed never returned to sin. And for the prisons, it is prisoners that accept and approach that recieve blessing even at execution. The beatitudes never said blessed are those in the state of sin. Blessings only come to sinners whom have a repentant heart and that is what Jesus saw and blessed he didn't bless the pharisees for a reason.
