Honestly Cole’s opinions in this one felt skewed. Petey hasn’t been putting up huge numbers since miller came back but the chances are there and he’s playing well. It’s just that it isn’t converting, which happens sometimes. Do they possibly not like eachother? Sure lmao but like nuckhead said why would they both sign incredibly long contracts knowing they would have to play together if they hated eachother so much? Let’s be real the real issue with the team overall is our weak defence. Myers and Soucy are hit or miss and I think the people who doubted Hronek are seeing how important he really is. I bet when hronek is back the whole team will be back to playing consistently.

I fully believe this is just a media circus. This didn’t happen last year because the Canucks were 1st in the league at Christmas. There’s also that quote from Hughes talking about how part of his job as captain has to been to make sure people on the team are happy all the time. That raised some bells for me, nobody in the media really picked up on that.
I think it's because they're SO similar yet SO different, both are very good defensively one has great stick work and the other more like a shot blocker, Both playmakers Petey always makes like no look passes while Miller makes great passes to the most like open player, they are both leaders in their own ways, I think we should reunite the Lotto line for extra offense but we do need another #2-3 Center and a veteran D with lots of success and is reliable.
Tendinitis isn’t a condition that one can always recover 100% from. It’s completely possible that they can rest Pettersson for a whole season, and then the tendinitis flares up again after a few games. That’s why he hasn’t taken a long break, it wouldn’t really help. Best they can do is minimize it and learn to manage it through the year.

He's a loner, and is a different personality, and there's no way on earth that he signed under the condition that JT was getting traded. That's lunacy. This nonsense is all media speculation. Also, tendinitis is almost never repaired using surgery because surgery makes the joint movement worse. It's only ever done with a severely damaged tendon, and if Pettie had that, he'd not be walking, much less skating. It was interesting to hear Management not really buying into Petties excuse for bad play being because of injury. Also, it's Pettie who makes odd comments about JT, like the one you mentioned. Miller isn't the one stirring the pot with comments like that. I get the impression the Coach likes JT and his style of play more than EP40. I know JT is older, but if our window is the next three years, I think it will be JT who brings us the cup, he has the ability to drag the Team with him for a win, the same as Huggy, I just don't see Pettie doing that.
