You should show that cute dress to your niece! I give my family bins gifts every year and they love their “Binsmas” gifts! Usually they end up being everyone’s favorite things! I always tell them before they open no hard feelings and I will resell whatever they don’t want! It’s so fun!
For tough zippers, rub a little lip balm or vaseline on the zipper teeth -- a small amount -- then zip the zipper up and down through the balm/vaseline a few times. It will lube up the zipper pull and make it work again like new.
Hey Courtney, some clear chapstick on both sides of the zip will fix a sticky zipper. I know you aren't into sewing or doing repairs, but it's two swipes and would save you from having to make a return.

So nice to ‘see’ you and Da Pups! It is always a good day when you post new content! You found some nice things to list, and consolidated your expenses, so that is wonderful. Of course with all of that volume you are going to have to miss a small flaw her or there. You taught me that selling items with carefully disclosed flaws is actually fine with a lot of folks. It is hard work to go over each item multiple times, but worth it! Crazy how the flaws seem to jump out when I get out my steamer or phone. Those flaws must just KNOW when to be scariest, but nothing more scary then when shipping out!
I have done it now both as a seller and as a buyer, and it just works! Less landfill, more useful fashion for a lot longer than would be otherwise, so YAY🎉!

Hi Courtney, I found out that you make zippers side easier using candle wax or even a bar of soap on them to lubricate the contact points. I think a graphite pencil can work too. I try to use a clear candle wax so the shavings don't stain the item. You just rub along the zipper on both sides, then brush it off, and try it. Repeat until it works good. I hope this helps. Oh, I guess there is a special lube for zippers at craft stores but I've never needed to go that far LOL. The candle wax works great for me so far. Thanks for sharing.

I love the Balticborn dress. I have a friend who’s daughter just got married. She had a sweet & beautiful wedding on the Tennessee river. And her dress looked a lot like that. It was so beautiful. Not traditional and I really liked it. I love simple backyard weddings and mountain or river weddings. People do them in Tennessee a lot. I definitely could see someone wearing that Balticborn dress as a wedding dress. I used to want to provide a weddings venue. I have 12 acres at the river where we could have a band , a place for weddings reception and a cute honeymoon cabin. Unfortunately I became disabled and I’m not able to follow through with that business dream. I hope someone will buy my land and do something like that. People are into rustic weddings and it’s the perfect place. I do love weddings. My husband even became an ordained minister to officiate the ceremonies. But we are going to let someone else live the dream. I’ve seen a lady on UA-cam who sells mostly wedding dresses and mother of the bride dresses. She dose really well. We sell most basics now. Things people just need at reasonable prices. You got great inventory Courtney. I hope it sells fast and you make good money. Take care ! LA

New subscriber to your channel, just wondering what part of the country you’re in that your goodwill will do returns for defective clothing? The area I am in will only take back electronics that don’t work within seven days. Nothing else.
All goodwill's are different non-profits, so they have different sales, policies and pricing. I mostly source at Goodwill SoCal, which is in the Los Angeles area. And we can exchange any clothing item, no matter the reason, within 90 days and a receipt.
Lol, athletic wear is always my first stop. If I only have time to flip through one area, athletic it is. But that’s cause I’m a suburban mom chasing a 6yr 😅 Who also doesn’t give a fox whether people think I’m going to the gym or not. Comfort over fashion 90% of the time, but I’ll still hunt for those LLL, ALO, and athleta pieces so I can feel slightly put together.

I left a balticborn dress behind at goodwill for $9 … it was a cream lace maxi as well ….. guess I should have picked it up but wasn’t that in to it or seeing if it had flaws 😂😅 I’m a very picky reseller at this point lol especially when paying up
