Namaste. My name is Udesh Ramsundar sitting behind my tabla gurujee, the late Basant Ramachandra. I arranged this stage performance with Basant and my friend Mr Deeplall Budhan singing on harmonium in the the 1980s in M L Sultan Technikon Cane Grower's Hall as part of the Hindu Students' Association(HSA) Cultural programme in the day time for Hindu students and staff at this Technikon. I was a staff member of the Technikon at the time. Mr Basant Ramachandra and Deeplall Budhan met first time behind stage and played without rehearsal. It was an hour long performance of golden oldies. It was awesome and performance to remember. Thanks for sharing and the good comments.
