Mums are just absolute superheroes. I found out a few years ago my mum has had depression my entire life and I’d had absolutely no idea. I can’t even imagine the countless times she must have felt so painfully low but she never once let it show. I really think parents are just incredible. I can tell you’re such a good mum by the way that you use your love for Lana to push yourself to get up and carry on. It’s lovely. I’m sure opportunities will come for you and Alex and everything will be okay. Life tends to do that for good people 🥰

I dont tend to have kids, and most of my baby experience is my sister at 3 years younger. So it's kinda funny and weird to compare it to my experience talking to my pets. But that's what It reminds me of. Same back and forth, just far more human in expression.

I think your feeling what allot of people have been feeling through this time, and it's perfectly normal, I can relate to a lot of what you say in this video, I had my daughter 4 month before lock down, I feel a huge amount of guilt, that she's not getting to experience life normally surrounded by family and getting out the house more, even though I know its out of my hands, she has given me routine and motivation as well as a reason to keep fighting for happiness, especially after my best friend who was only 29 with no health conditions passed away from covid, i hope any one reading this who is feeling beyond help, know that although i have never met you, you are not alone, we are all here, together and striving for a better tomorrow with you xx

Hello from northern Canada! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time now and we actually had our girls about a month apart. Being a new, first time mom during a pandemic has been HARD! I also suffer from mental health issues and have been struggling as of late. I think it’s a combination of everything just hitting at once; the pandemic, the winter weather, exhaustion and stress of being a new parent. I’ve also let my creative side go, and I’m not taking enough time for myself. I want you to know that you’re doing a fantastic job and you’re on the right track of trying to change before seeking medical help. I want to do the same and watching your video just gave me the push I needed to actually commit to it. We’ll get through this! Much love ❤️

I was too late to catch this on patreon with how hectic life has been lately, but the youtube notification came through at the perfect time - exactly when I arrived home and needed a sit-down/de-stress. I'm so glad your mood has been picking up with the weather the last few days (whether you're up to posting or not), and hope the sunshine holds strong for you as you head into spring! I kind of have the opposite problem when it comes to the weather, I get low and sluggish and my energy completely evaporates in the heat, along with most of my capacity to deal. Where I am, we're finally at the end of summer, and I cannot wait for autumn and the cooler months. I feel like an entirely different person. Lost count of how many times I replayed the little segment where you body-blocked Lana from toppling herself off the bed, so stinking sweet. She's so big!! I think it's only just hit me she's far past being a newborn and will be edging into toddler territory soon...

I feel you! Me and my partner have a small restaurant in a 2000 ppl town by the sea in Bulgaria. We are renting the place and winter season is bad enough business wise here, even without a global pandemic and not being able to work AT ALL... And we had a baby in October. We were not allowed to work for most of last year and whatever money we managed to make during the high season in summer are long gone... As happy as we are having our little one, if it weren't for family helping out, we wouldn't have food on the table...
I wish I could help you out more as I've watched you for year's and really enjoy your videos. I'm in a similar situation with anxiety and money. I'm due with my first in May and my boyfriend is trying to find a new job. He's worked in hospitality his whole life and as we all know that area is not doing so good right now. Luckily he's been furloughed throughout this whole pandemic but it's not much coming in when I'm also furloughed! We're also in a pretty small flat and trying to find a bigger place, which is not easy right now as fewer people are moving. I just hope by this time next year life is easier for all of us.
Kiera you should make the most of Alex being at home and get him to look after Lana while you focus on UA-cam/Little Doe work! My partner would have done anything to have more time with our baby but paternity leave is rubbish. Make the most of this!! Also I miss the cooking montages too much 🥺

*I understand EXACTLY how you are feeling!* 2020 has been the best and worst year of my life. I gave birth to my first baby, my son Simon, last April (he is one month older than Lana), which has been one of the two best things of 2020 for me. Then a week after my son's birth my paternal uncle died suddenly from a heart attack. I go so sad (and stressed because it was the first months of the pandemic) that I stoped producing milk and I have to formula feed my son ever since. I always had problems with anxiety and the past year it has gotten worse. I closed almost all my social media accounts five months ago for that reason. But the pandemic also made me think that this situation might be the right time to expand our family (everyone is at home with nothing else to do), so when my son became four months old me and my husband started trying again for another baby. Finding out that I am pregnant in December was the second best thing that happened to me in 2020, and ended the year with a hope that things might be better in 2021. Our baby girl is expected to be born in June. It feels so strange to me that I'll have given birth to my first two children during the span of a pandemic, both times with just me and my husband in a hospital room (hopefully I may be wrong about that the second time). I wish that things will get better and by the time baby girl is here life will start going back to normal, with the vaccines and everything. My lovely husband and my son (and also my unborn daughter) are the ones who give me the motivation to keep going, even though there are times (because of the pandemic stress and the psychological isolation, especially from not seeing my friends) that I want to stop everything and crawl into a hole and do nothing. But when I wake up every morning with my husband's arms around me, and I hear my son babbling from his crib in his nursery, and I feel my daughter kick inside my belly... things are not so bad and the world feels brighter for a few minutes. You daughter is so adorable by the way! My son is at the same stage now, a smiley boy who is always eager for adventure, trying to crawl everywhere. Be strong and have faith and patience. Everything will get better, even if it doesn't look like that right now. We will all get through this, I promise.

My anxiety has got worse because of this pandemic. I can't even go out on my own or drive anymore, it's stripped me of my confidence. I understand the buying something thing completely. Just lost my pet too which makes things ten times worse x

It’ll be a case of signing up to a database and being chosen for a research study which can pay quite well & are often remote and don’t have to be medical studies, it can include things like commenting on websites or video games.
Have you considered making tiktoks? It's much easier to generate a following and much lower effort to film and edit! I'm sure we'd all be there for baby tiktoks and what youre having for dinner😁
I found after having kids I had to be really strict on what I kept for sentimental value however with baby clothes my rule was anything unisex for baby two and 4 items for sentimental value and worked great

Glad to know it’s not just my baby that loves playing with trash...lol. I have a 15 month old and she is much more content to play with a plastic bottle than a baby toy. My mother in law judges me on it and says she needs to play with real toys. I feel as long as I supervise it’s just fine. In the end it’s your baby so you decide.
In my understanding watching ads through without skipping does help with Adsense on UA-cam so I try to not skip (though one time I got a half an hour ad on a video longer than the actual video!)
First of all youre doing great! Second... I don't know how yoir government works where you live but if you can apply to any type of financial help DO IT. There is no shame and who ever judges you can start paying your bills. We all struggle and I have. Two kids I've worked since I've been 16 and im now 29 and have two kids. Yes I know I look like I'm 19 but trust me please. Apply to anything that can financially help you until your husband can find a job. It will calm your mind a bit and it will help with bills. No shame remember that! It's for your well being and your little one. I work but still applied for financial aid. It's not alot here is the U.S but it helps a bit. Good luck mama! YOU GOT THIS!!!!

2020 has been the best and worst year of my life. I gave birth to my first baby, my son Simon, last April (he is one month older than Lana), which has been one of the two best things of 2020 for me. Then a week after my son's birth my paternal uncle died suddenly from a heart attack. I go so sad (and stressed because it was the first months of the pandemic) that I stoped producing milk and I have to formula feed my son ever since. I always had problems with anxiety and the past year it has gotten worse. I closed almost all my social media accounts five months ago for that reason. But the pandemic also made me think that this situation might be the right time to expand our family (everyone is at home with nothing else to do), so when my son became four months old me and my husband started trying again for another baby. Finding out that I am pregnant in December was the second best thing that happened to me in 2020, and ended the year with a hope that things might be better in 2021. Our baby girl is expected to be born in June.
It feels so strange to me that I'll have given birth to my first two children during the span of a pandemic, both times with just me and my husband in a hospital room (hopefully I may be wrong about that the second time). I wish that things will get better and by the time baby girl is here life will start going back to normal, with the vaccines and everything.
My lovely husband and my son (and also my unborn daughter) are the ones who give me the motivation to keep going, even though there are times (because of the pandemic stress and the psychological isolation, especially from not seeing my friends) that I want to stop everything and crawl into a hole and do nothing. But when I wake up every morning with my husband's arms around me, and I hear my son babbling from his crib in his nursery, and I feel my daughter kick inside my belly... things are not so bad and the world feels brighter for a few minutes.
You daughter is so adorable by the way! My son is at the same stage now, a smiley boy who is always eager for adventure, trying to crawl everywhere.
Be strong and have faith and patience. Everything will get better, even if it doesn't look like that right now. We will all get through this, I promise.

My anxiety has got worse because of this pandemic. I can't even go out on my own or drive anymore, it's stripped me of my confidence. I understand the buying something thing completely. Just lost my pet too which makes things ten times worse x
Im sorry you are struggling. I relate to this ! I find it hard to be back in 'society'. Its so anxiety inducing. Just take every day step by step. Celebrate your progress even if its small xxx

@@melaniejane384 I'm so sorry for your loss, it's horrible isn't it? The pain I'm feeling is horrendous. I lost my guinea pig. With the anxiety thing it's not so much the fear of the virus but being stuck indoors all day has hindered my ability to function. Hope you feel better soon x🌷❤️

It’ll be a case of signing up to a database and being chosen for a research study which can pay quite well & are often remote and don’t have to be medical studies, it can include things like commenting on websites or video games.

I found after having kids I had to be really strict on what I kept for sentimental value however with baby clothes my rule was anything unisex for baby two and 4 items for sentimental value and worked great

Glad to know it’s not just my baby that loves playing with trash...lol. I have a 15 month old and she is much more content to play with a plastic bottle than a baby toy. My mother in law judges me on it and says she needs to play with real toys. I feel as long as I supervise it’s just fine. In the end it’s your baby so you decide.

Second... I don't know how yoir government works where you live but if you can apply to any type of financial help DO IT. There is no shame and who ever judges you can start paying your bills. We all struggle and I have. Two kids I've worked since I've been 16 and im now 29 and have two kids. Yes I know I look like I'm 19 but trust me please. Apply to anything that can financially help you until your husband can find a job. It will calm your mind a bit and it will help with bills. No shame remember that! It's for your well being and your little one. I work but still applied for financial aid. It's not alot here is the U.S but it helps a bit. Good luck mama! YOU GOT THIS!!!!
