Thanks for the criticism, but this is our own interpretation of the piece, not in the style of Beegie Adair. I listen to her too and like her style. But saying that the drummer & bassist “messed” up just because they don’t sound like what other artists sounds like seems a you’re not open to variety & innovation in music. Not everything needs to sound like this and sound like that. Listen to the music of John Coltrane and Charles Mingus and how the drums and bass can play a bigger role in jazz ballads.
