- FM James Canty III is 31 years old but harbours within himself the dream of becoming a grandmaster. James is now a full time streamer, commentator, chess coach and an adult chess improverer. He earns his livelihood through chess. But it was not so straightforward always. In this video we get to know the struggles and challenges that James has faced in the past to reach where he has reached today.

The secret to energy is being happy, well said. Food gives us physical energy and motivation and hope can give some temporary mental energy. But they run out unless supplied with more, and the rat race continues. But for lasting energy which does not deplete with time, you need true happiness, which has its source within. Contrary to pleasure in the body and mind, true happiness cannot be created, it just need to be discovered, it is already there within, clouded by misplaced perception about the world and about yourself. So it is not about making yourself complete, it is about overcoming the misconception that you ever were incomplete, no matter what the circumstances. So yeah, James really does have the 'vibe'.
