That's awesome, I've been in Brooklyn a ton lately! One of my favorites. Have you been back much?
I can see why you would be a Giants fan in NJ though

@@mkravchenko yes I have went back to visited the city. Actually my dad was the one who was the giant fan. Would like if NY Jets or Giants went back to NYC. I don't think it makes sense if the name NY Giants, Jets and red bulls if they played in NJ

Jets should play in Long Island or in th NYCFC new stadium. Giants should play in Brooklyn,Yonkers, Westchester or New Rochelle

CONSIDER THIS: Building a stadium in the secluded New Jersey Meadowlands is a proven area where the highways, parking and tailgating can easily be expanded. It has and it works. How much expnansion can you expect to make if an NFL stadium was built in the overcrowded city of New York ? NONE !!! ...And that's exactly what the complaints of its current location is worth. A good stadium cannot be built in an area where there's no room to expand its limits. Can you really imagine it working out for long on the West Side of Manhatten, The Flushing area of Queens, or even near Barclay's Center in Brooklyn ? It just wouldn't work.

I fully have considered this and appreciate you sharing. With football, of course, it is ideal to tailgate and have a different experience than say, the Yankees or Rangers have in the city. However, yes, areas like Queens or western Long Island are perfect. You can very easily tailgate and enjoy a game at Citi Field right now. Long Island even more so. So, yes, I can imagine it working in plenty of areas beyond the swamp-looking garbage area that it's currently in. Also, it is in no way secluded? Next door is the second largest mall in the US, the racing track is right there, and honestly, it isn't like it's this cakewalk to get to. Truly can't wait for the World Cup to be here so we can show that it is indeed NOT accessible. That getting into the stadium is a bitch and a half. There aren't many public transportation avenues, places to walk, or anything really around the stadium that screams access. It's a ridiculously miserable place to have the Giants and Jets right now and an area that will likely fall apart within the next 50 years, especially if these two leave.

@@mkravchenko The entire Sports Complex is more secluded than any arena or stadium in New York. Tons of 1st class Trains, Buses and Cab services between NYC Penn Station to The New Jersey Meadowlands and North Philadelphia. MetLife Stadium traffic is still terrible, But these days more managable than half the stadiums in the NFL. Thanks to road improvements and the fact that the American Dream parking is always closed during stadium event days. Alot of fans go to the mall after the stadium events to hang out, have fun, or even do a little shopping - Setting the foundation where some fans go home later tham others, Thereby - Reducing Traffic.

if you drive in from the north, it immediately smells like a cesspool when you hit the NJ line… i mean, giants and jets are both homes in NJ but still won’t claim it and pretend they are NY.

I don’t know if you follow MLS but I find insane that NYCFC is the youngest NY sports team about 9 years old. And for a while they were approved to have their own stadium built right next to Citifield. As a Giants how is that fair?! Both the Giants and Jets have been around for a long time they should have some sort of seniority /leeway on where their stadium should be built. Also, how is it that both of them couldn’t secure property near Belmont Park, but the Islanders could? The land is big there regardless of how the Tax Payers are gonna complain about it there is space the there parking/tail gating would’ve worked Public transportation via LIRR would’ve worked to. I just don’t get it.

You said it all perfectly. It’s mind blowing and so sad. For me, driving 2.5 hours to watch a team lose for the overwhelmingly majority of the time is tough. I hope it comes sooner rather than later

@@mkravchenkoI’ve been to 2 Giants game 1 Jet game. I am from South Queens and I live right next to the Van Wyack so it’s about 45mins-1hr drive for me every Sunday so I feel you on that. And Might I say forget about general admission parking if you don’t have those premium parking passes attending Giants , or Jets games you’re screwed, I am speaking from experience. I have nothing against New Jersey it’s a great state North South Central wherever you travel to it’s a good state. I pretty much accept the fact that the Giants will never leave New Jersey. The lease for MetLife is up like 2027. I hope one day that both our New York Teams return home. And as a lifelong suffering Jets fan. I hope you have a great season next season. Hopefully everyone including Rogers is healthy. This is coming from a Giants fan. Best of luck next season!

SIMPLE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM: LEAVE THINGS AS THEY ARE !!!
The Giants and Jets are pretty satisfied on the New Jersey side of the Metro area close to New York after Dolan selfishly denied the Jets any chance to come to Manhatten and the City letting him get away with it because they value more money than the team - The Jets are better off in the Garden State where they are more appreciated and more comfortable with more spacious atmosphere, Better training facility, Expanding Jersey fans and everything.

@@mkravchenko Both teams are commited to the New York name and the New Jersey location and it works. It's better to build a stadium in a secluded area in New Jersey close to New York rather than New Yorks Legendary Traffic. If something works - Don't fix it.

How about the MSL New York Red Bulls 🐂, who physically play in the Town of Harrison, Hudson County, New Jersey?
There's only ONE MSL soccer ⚽ team in New York: The New York City Football Club.

@mkravchenko New York needs a ton of new arenas and stadiums. Oddly enough the biggest deterrent to all those is that piece of shit owner James Dolan. Would be great if the Garden and the new stadium would be over by Hudson Yards to go with that new tunnel system and new Penn Station
