----- contrary to another post, this was not at Sun Studios, it was 1956 RCA, when he still had that Sun sound in his music. I do agree with that post that Elvis was creating Rock & Roll in these recordings. When you compare the original blues artists who did this song and the other's Elvis covered from the 50s & 60s Elvis clearly did something different to that music, there's no contest at all, Elvis version was sheer candy to the ears. The old blues (and some Country he did) was wayyyy tooo primitive and simply did not rock-out.
