Good morning! 🌟 😁 👍 Have wanted to move from the desert of California to Michigan for a few years... Sort of a secret dream... And we've been here almost 6 months now in a small northern town on the lake! It's amazing. Only problem is, our CA home is still on the market. Dho! Stuck in the freeze! Please pray it sells so we could purchase one out here instead of rent-hopping. Summer is tourists season here and all the rent prices triple. We're nervous we won't be able to stay here...but don't want to turn tail. Please pray we gain the sense and wisdom to deal maturely with this problem as we should have sold the home before the big move. We just didn't want the opportunity to slip by. The job my husband got to bring us here is good and we see so many opportunities for small businesses. We're writing down all these options to see what sticks. Even my 4 y/o has a good one. The 9 & 5 y/olds helped him map the design based on business properties in the area. And I came up with small, inexpensive ways to test the market. Of course it takes money to make money, right? Lol. We'll get there. With God's help. Thank you!
Thank you! It worked! We sold our old place in CA after I got called an award winning realtor to help ours out, after 6 months on the market. And we are settling in to a dream MI property! 40 acres, 2 gardens, a chicken coop full of laying hens, a little farmhouse we can fix up while living in, and a rentable hunting cabin on the back of the property, behind the pond. Yes. There is a pond. This place is an ecosystem! It has hiking trails we can walk, jog, or bike all over. It is beautiful! And it’s opened opportunities for me to explore a side gig as a nature photographer., an old hobby I am redirecting now that AI is threatening my main industry. The best part is, our electric bill for last month is literally over $400 less than the same month last year, in our previous state. Phew! That’s $400 this month we can invest in: - savings - extracurricular for the kids - educational / training / networking for our careers - our marriage ;o) - more shoes for the growing kids… - my new thermostat for my car… There are always more plans for extra money than there is money, so my husband helps me prioritize. Phew! Things are looking up . This summer all 3 kids will be in camp for 3 hours 5x/day… and this fall, the youngest starts full time school - so the biz I have been trying to start and eking along, one struggling failure lesson after another - can get more of my attention during that time! I am so thrilled! A light at the end of a 1 decade tunnel, spending money raising those infants and toddlers… phew! Worth it and ready to start making some of it back. 😂 So excited. Thank you all for help with prayer and enthusiasm! So gratefully motivated by Team Terri! The new town has been welcoming and friendly! My husband’s job here is strong and secure. Things are looking up. Phew! Gotta maximize the value of this special time while the blessings last, right?

Love your ministry Terri! It's given me new challenges like getting up early! Watched countless videos and listened to podcasts and bought the e-course but I'm still confused on the jargon. In the course you differentiate the terms 'goals' and 'dreams' but then you use them interchangeably. The book states Write 10 Goals that can be (SMART) obtained this year (ie. things we can accomplish in our own ability like saving $500). You then said Dream and write 101 big impossible dreams (meaning things that only God can make happen not any amount of side hustles or an extra 15 mins a day could accomplish) like meeting your dream spouse or living in a castle. I know I'm probably overthinking it but... anyone have any input ..? I truly believe God wants us to dream big, so big thats it's beyond us and that, yes, we can pray, prepare and grow daily. I'm just not seeing how I can establish and implement daily steps to live in a million dollar home beyond planting seeds (i love your dad Jerry!) praying and asking for a miracle. what am I missing here?
Napoleon Hill put it this way, "A goal is a dream with a deadline." In other words, your list of 101 dreams is to get you thinking about all the things you'd like to have, be, or do in life. Then, once you set a deadline it becomes a goal that you work towards. Some of them will be things that only God can make happen for you and that's ok.
@@terrisavellefoy that's what I figured :) I can take steps to get my doctorate for sure but pray that God helps me to do well or I can work out and prepare for marriage mentally and spiritually but pray for God to align my path with the right person. JUST wanted to make sure I was in the right mindset. Thank you!
