- Level 40+ is becoming more and more obtainable for players in Star Trek Fleet Command. While newer servers like 50/51 have just had their level cap removed and the whales are flying up the Star Trek Fleet Command charts there are also free to play players from the original servers thinking of leveling up as well. What all does that entail?

Man oh man has the game changed since then. So much power creep! Rev is sitting at 15M talking about heading to 40+, today I'm at 29M and preparing for the jump. I wonder how relevant these older "camp" guides are anymore
Right, I'm in the game for almost 1 year and ready for leval 40 at 23.7m and able to hit warp 165 naturally or 179 with warp officers.
Rev - fortunately, the loss of G3 going to 40 is simply no longer the case - at ops 40 my milestone 15 is 10 and 10.3 mil Di, the same G3 as you AND 1131 G4 common, 729 G4 uncommon and 91 G4 rare.
Mining Monday and swarm sunday give out G4 uncs and rares - but that lets you finish out all the primes. Ship upgrade normal and heroic change to requiring uncommon parts spend and the officer recruit heroic gives out uncommon G4 ship parts.
Although the refinery has the same chance of as 39 - it clearly has probability adjustments, you get loads more uncommons.
I've never had so much G3 since going to 40 and you need events to get the G4 commons as the G4 refinery is junk, its 10 lat per G4 common and each building is 40k+ commons - if you sit at 39 expecting to get to 41 or 42, you'll never get across as you are missing out on MASSIVELY better event rewards.

Glad to help! I put out a video week or two ago about moving to 40+ def recommend getting to AT LEAST 41.
its crazy how the strength has jumped in the game. My Tier 5 Ent is already at 4.1 million...
With TOS Scotty, another TOS and old Scotty, you can add +12 to your Ent and Disco
A few of the advices are good and few of them are completely dependent on how you would like to play ur game.... for start, clarification at level 40 when you buy packs you receive both 3g and 4g... so if you a player that by packs in order to grow your ships the last thing you should do is max out your 3G Epics because if that’s not your final destination( lvl 40) you will have so many 3G resources that all you’ll be doing is scrapping Maxed out 3g ships.... so the question you wanna ask yourself is how do I play my game....

If you do all your researches your steel cost is 4 bil to do ops 40 operations, can't stress enough to do all researchs before jumping up in ops, this saves you greatly on rss and materials, when you do go up in ops, first thing to do is research on cost cutting for researchs then cost cutting for building lastly cost cutting for ships, there is alot of them but if you do this it cuts your costs greatly and takes some of the sting out of crazy costs
Hey @RevDeuce, please would you spend a couple of minutes digging out the maths for Klingon Apprentice research (increases points gained/lost when defeating a hostile) and whether it makes a decent impact on the rep grinding?
Please do this as this is what I'm working on atm

Thanx again for some great info ! I'm at 39 and getting the 40 itch but my Enterprise isn't ready for starters (t4 for prolly another month) as well as I still need to do most of the 39 upgrades. Maxed Disco and Franklin A as high as I can now. Lots of lat and enough unc 3gas to get thru building upgrades or give the gas to Enterprise upgrades. Part of me wants to pull the 40 trigger even though I'm pretty sure I shouldn't. Your vid convinced me to stick with my original plan of a 39 camp. Thanks again
My tact is to have 4 combat ships, 3 miners, useful research and base maxed out before taking the plunge

This game is all about 3 star crystal, which can't be raised, get to level 20 ASAP
Hey Rev - One bit of feedback the guys in my alliance have been discussing is the frequency of Territory Capture / Defence events. In the last week we have had 4/5 to manage and it is a challenge in terms of time commitment for players. Now that TC is a mature element of the game we think having a lower frequency would help in balancing time demands from the game. What do your other subscribers think about this?
Good video Rev, however it misses the BIGGEST decision on how your life will be at Ops level 40... what will your monthly spend budget be? It would really help other players if yourself, Nowanshall etc. discussed the amount you spend/will be spending to have the enjoyment yuo have in the game. From what I can see.... you have to set a MINIMUM spend of $200 per month at Ops level 40+, however I can promise 95% of players above Ops Level spend more than that
Where did the G4 faction ships go in the faction stores?
I have to disagree a lot of people want to sit at 39 and grind the three star but what I say is go to 40 if you can and stay at 40 because at 40 you still get 95 percent of 3 star and tons and tons of 4 star to have for future upgrades 40 is the sweet spot at 41 you loos most of your 3 star
At 40, you lose 3* in event rewards though. Still in packs and battle pass, but not events. You get a good chunk of overall 3* mats throughout the month from events. It may not feel like it, but you do. I would agree with Rev and not go to 40 until you have the majority of your 3* stuff done (researches, epic ships, buildings). Then head to 40 and use those 3* mats for tiering lvl 26 ships for scrapping and using those mats for further development.
@@adamraszewski6845 When I was at level 40 every event gave me the same amount of 3* + 4* the only event that did not give me 3* was swarm Sunday
As my comment above it all depends on your monthly spend, a lot of advice is not relevant unless players state their monthly spend when giving it
At 40 you have to kill level 41 at ops level 41 you have to hit 42 and mine 100k in 4g and at 41 you can start refine uncommon and uncommon ship parts

Highly recomend going to 41. Research (effienecy) and raiding is key as trit and par become a big problem if your free to play.
Anyone added up how much steal you need to go from 39 to 41. I see 5Bn for ops, but then what?

I have a question outside of this video content. I'm a level 30 most of my circle in the game recommend skipping the level 32 ships and save up for the 34s.i have the Federation locked and I'm working on the Romulans.what would be your suggestion. Also a side question besides Pike ,Moreau and Chen that I use mostly on my Saladin. Are there another good bridge crew for a explorer like the centurion. I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you
Personally, max your Saladin and skip the intrepid for the enterprise
Enterprise is OP, get that. Bit boring as everyone else one too, but you want to be able to compete
In today's game 7/2023, do you need two 3* epics if you can have either the Augur or the Enterprise, plus the Talios and Voyager?

I just got into 39 but haven’t pre-planned properly. I paid in $ way too much. I’m retired from difability accident n old buy most standards. I alway wanted to progress fast but now I am very stuck @ lvl39
People that want to know where the perfect place is the place where they want to just stop and grind and stay there for a few months maybe a year or even more it’s level 40
I really wanted my base to be level 40/41 so I used all resources to help make that happen and NOW I am lost. Missions is telling me to Level Up Academy to 40, Operations to 41 and I need to do a Epic Armada (alone or with help I do not know) to get my Ascend Key. My ships are fairly wimpy but my base is upgraded almost everywhere. Just a couple of upgrades left (none required to level up to 40 or 41). I do not have any of the ships required to complete Epic. I'm lost. I concentrated on my base and research. I have very few things left to upgrade at this point except for my ships. SIGH... I have completing Daily Goals and a few missions and what I could. I have missed my ship goal and now I think it is getting me. Suggestions?
After locking three factions at 10 million, do you recommend continuing rep grinding in dual faction mode, like in the beginning?
You don't need to lock 2 factions, once your Discovery arrives into hostile territory, immediately summon your miner and the second ship does not get a chaser. Do a recall on your Discovery.....meanwhile the ship you had summoned is free to move about without any chasers. Before going to 40....be sure your ships are maxed....getting 3 star resources is a nightmare.

I am only 33 but 34 is still end of summer for me. I want to grind until all the research I can do is done
I'm 36 and playing serious catch up on research I'd advise doing as you plan, with the terrioty tree theres alot more
@@timetraveller3123 I intend to focus on the pure tree, reaching as high as my ships will go, efficient everything and so on then triple lock faction rep, followed by getting as much star4 material as possible. And as much rss needed to fast track my self strait in to 41st level on day one. To capitalize on uncommon and rare material

don't triple faction lock if you want Klingon do not lock Roms need it to get to max lvl fast with

at level 42 I wish I had an enemy faction to set my ships out and auto grind over night.

Hey Rev, I am trying to do mission Innominate part 1. Recommends level 40. I just made level 41. The very first thing it has you do is go to TejLukk which you need warp range 185. The best I can do is about 105-110. I seen your video for the Discovery research warp range. Mine is at level 6= plus 45. To go to 7 I need to be level 43. Any idea how to get to 185? Or is this more Scopely BS?

So, I noticed that a lot of your buildings are not maxed for your ops level. Is that something you think is needed before going to ops 40, or not? Which are the most critical?

To be honest with you you have nothing to be worried about 3G is never going out of style... if you ask any whale we will all tell you the same thing we scrap Max 3G ships all day long so that notion that it’s hard to get it’s only for free to play players which is not going to be a case if you’re going above 40...
Scopely is very vague on when they do the Ascension event... Server 187 is still capped. Scopely doesn't give a good answer on this.
Do you recommend going to 41 or 42 after camping at 39?
I still can't seem to find Rare Armada Tactical Cores to upgrade my ACC from 39 to 41. It says get them in the Alliance Store but they are not in there. You know where to get them ?

They've been added to Cosmic Cleanup which should resume after the BP finishes

My understanding is at lvl 40 the battle pass still gives just as much 3* as it does at 39, but also adds in 4*. Any word on this?

You get both, 4* is simply added in at 40.
How do you get out of the red in faction points to open up faction store I'm enemy in federation and klingon
Keep killing the other hostiles. It’s harder to do all 3 at once. 2 is doable or lock one at 10M then work on another - that’s going to be a LOT of time but keeps at least once alliance from back sliding
I plan on staying at lvl 39 for the rest of this year...I'm in no hurry.

At this point in the game for me I don't have an enterprise yet. I don't understand the mechanic of why Spock doesn't go on the enterprise. Can you explain on this rather than just saying he doesn't go there?
It's redundant. SO you end up wasting an officer slot for what the ship already does.

Certain pieces, yes. You'll need all your guns, for example, at 38 before it will let you go to 39
