this album came out around the time i was dating my ex and this was one of my favorite songs off the album. i would listen to this religiously. this song was ahead of its time. ironically now this song relates to my situation more than ever as i’m writing this trying to forget about what it was like to be with this person because he wasn’t at all who i thought he was. i was so into him and he was the best thing in my life at that time. we both were everything the other needed at that time, and well as time went by it wasn’t that anymore and slowly he began being cold and distant with me until one day, he eventually left me for his ex gf who I had a gut feeling he was hung up over (so many ironies); never called or texted me to end things, ignored my calls and texts. it was over. and honestly that was a year ago but i’m just as hurt and broken to this day. i just wonder how things could be different if i had never met him.. i want so badly to move on.

I've only found this song pretty recently and I relate to it so much more than any other song I've heard in a while. I had this guy friend who I considered one of my best friends for 4 years, we got into a bit of a rough patch and we lost contact. I guess I was too busy "hating" him for giving up on us that I didn't give myself time to grief losing his friendship. Last year in November, I found out he passed away in September. I found out too late so everything came rushing back to me in a matter of seconds, all the memories, laughs, smiles, love, while I was seeing someone. Listening to this song has helped me grieve properly, not only our friendship, but also losing him as a person here on earth as well. I thank ari so much for this beautiful art piece.

the first line THE FIRST LINE! i started crying, balling, My dog died a little over a year ago and it wasnt that big to me at first but after a while i let it sink in and realized that shes never coming back and i started remembering all of are fun memories together. she had been there my whole life and now shes gone. i dont think i will ever get over it. I've only found this song pretty recently and I relate to it so much more than any other song I've heard in a while. I had this guy friend who I considered one of my best friends for 4 years, we got into a bit of a rough patch and we lost contact. I guess I was too busy "hating" him for giving up on us that I didn't give myself time to grief losing his friendship. Last year in November, I found out he passed away in September. I found out too late so everything came rushing back to me in a matter of seconds, all the memories, laughs, smiles, love, while I was seeing someone. Listening to this song has helped me grieve properly, not only our friendship, but also losing him as a person here on earth as well. I thank ari so much for this beautiful art piece.
