I used to live 10 min from there and as a teen always went to the CityWalk . There is also a great Italian restaurant close by called Micellis hope I spelled it right. It's like walking back in time. Great food and they occasionally have live music. Hope to see more from your trips to Universal ❤❤
Thank you so much for this video. I will be coming from New Zealand next year for Disneyland and universal. I will be traveling alone, so all these helpful videos that you and your family make are very much appreciated.
We’re from Chicago and always go to Florida for all the parks. Really enjoying watching all your SoCal videos since we will be visiting this spring. We’re excited
Thanks for a look at the area! Universal will finish our upcoming trip, and I’ve just realized I don’t know anything about any of the hotels in the area. Much appreciated!!!
Love Hilton's there nice. The first one I stayed at was in Anaheim by Disneyland. Your room was very roomy. I also liked your bathroom. The window was a neat shape. Loved how you liked the smell of the towel. They are very spendy. But fun to splurge every once in a while.
you can cut off a HUGE part of the walk, by going through the convention center. That way you don't have to walk around the building and exit right near the road.
There is not. But you can take the sidewalk across the street up the hill and around. So there is access without the use of stairs, but if the climb in general (stairs or hill incline) is the cause for concern, they do have a free shuttle that will drop you off at the top. But if the concern is just stair related, there is wheelchair/stroller access through a different route.
We’re planning to stay at the hilton for my kid’s birthday towards the end of the year… what hotel do you recommend?? Which was better for a good night sleep? The Sheraton or the hilton??
Hey im doing that early entry thing on monday, and we are staying at the Hilton too.. a day before for the Super Nintendo World Early Entry.. Is it still as busy as the first days?
I haven’t been since March 3rd. So hard to say? But it was pretty crowded when I went. I intend to go again and some point. But not before Monday unfortunately. I hope you have a great time!
@@betzabegarcia6292 when you get there you self park, a machine will give you a ticket you give it to the lady when you go to check in, parking is 45 a night I believe they add it to your stay
When going their how much is it to stay at that hotel at the Universal Studios Hollywood resort and does this include the VIP pass and I was wondering 💭 what you guys used to book the day at the Universal Studios Hollywood at the Sheraton hotel 🏨 and does the Sheraton do discounts for Military or Police ? because my brother in law is a Marine so does it depend the day you stay and what’s the website you guys used to book the Sheraton Hotel at Universal Studios Hollywood? And if you didn’t know we actually handle the Theme Park and you’ll see our guys their and I work for Securitas
@@WyattKahoaliiAiu There are no express passes for staying at Universal Hollywood. That’s a Florida thing. Prices will vary but they were about $300-$350/night when we stayed. Not sure about military discounts. You could call them and ask. That’s probably the best way to find out. This is the link for the Sheraton: www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/bursi-sheraton-universal-hotel/overview/
I believe it’s 4 PM, but honestly you can get there earlier. They’ll probably have a room ready. If not, they’ll keep your bags while you go into the park and can return after check in.
They’re both about the same price, so the only thing that really set the Hilton apart was being slightly closer and not having to walk uphill (from the Sheraton) which was a bit of a hike. I’d choose the Hilton every time simply for the slightly closer proximity unless the Sheraton is significantly cheaper whenever you’re looking to go.

Hopefully we will get to go more often. This was from a month ago. I just got around to posting it. 😂
Have a ride guide coming tomorrow.

Lol I also love fresh, clean smelling towels! I appreciated that part of the review 😂

I have another review up on the channel for the Sheraton which is right next door to this you can check out as well.

It isn’t too much of a price difference between that and the Sheraton next door, which is slightly further away. So the Hilton was perfect.
I was there yesturday great tour

We’re just heading to the Embassy Suites Anaheim south for our day at Disney tomorrow, planning to be there at rope down 🤩
That’s the best time to arrive at the parks! Have a magical trip!
Very helpful with the price and walking distance check. Thank you. Price is a bit steep for a basic hotel room, but location, location, location.
Indeed. They can pretty much charge whatever with only the Sheraton as competition for the walking distance hotels.
Wow, I will be staying at the Hilton Universal City after Disneyland. Have a VIP tour booked. So excited. Thank you for this review. 🇦🇺🇺🇸🇦🇺
Awesome! Hope you have a great time.
A fun little project for you to consider is place you would recommend staying in the Universal area besides these.
The Croque Monsieur at Toothsome is really good...
Enjoyed your tour of Hilton --- question: I see there are stairs for the path from Hilton to Universal, is there possibly elevator access? Thank you!

How nice of you to reply, we will visit Universal Hollywood 4/26-4/29, I may have a mobility scooter, thank you!@@SoCalDisneyDad

Both were fantastic for sleeping. The Hilton is just closer for walking since you don’t have to go up hill.
Do vid on best of city walk restaurants!
What freeway goes by Universal Studios 🛣️🤔👍📲

Upon arrival, do you just self park your car or do you have to go to the front first
You should check in first. They’ll give you a parking pass/RFID card to get through the gate down into their garage
Did you paid extra fee for parking?

Yes! Best money we spent. Definitely do it.

Very VERY different to hiltons in London lol. They’re over priced and super rough and ugly
