Awww lovely seeing walks that we went on back in 2018. It was walking to Plakes that I made a note of a hotel and have booked it for September 22. Remembered that steep walk up to the clock tower too! Thanks again Jamie your videos will keep me going for a while :)

The views at Plakes and the clock tower are unbelievable, and the tower itself is beautiful! I think the planes landing and taking off are my favorite. Reminds me of a couple of spots we used to go to back home in L.A. Really cool that the pilots were waving, too! And of course, the food looks delicious!
It is certainly a beautiful and unique town. I have to say that I have always considered Greek food to be some of my favourite along with Thai food. Plakes is so quiet and you wouldn't think it is a few footsteps from the main part of town.
Planes is well nice I think we accidentally drive through in 2018 with a Renault lol 😂 And the cats we love kitties 😻. Do you know anything about the water bottles about side peoples houses what that about wondered if you knew we saw it loads 🤷🏼♂️. Aww love it when the pilots wave as their about to take off some passengers wave, we tried waving at a TUI plane but no one waved back 😈 lol the other Europeans do! Lol Borrzi bogs are the best in the world 🤭 great video 🙌🏼
From what I believe about the water bottle, I know the Spanish t do it to stop dogs and cats peeing on their door step. Just wondering if it's the same purpose here. I suppose it would make sense with the amount of cats in Plakes. Yeah I got a wave off the pilots, was hardly anyone there when I popped along. Have you been up to the ock Tower before? @@ThreeStarVagabond the next big one could be Singapore and Vietnam for a month should everything go plan regarding Covid in these countries. Maybe wait and see about Christmas time and take it from there. In the mean time, I need to think of stuff to keep occupied and upload in the horrible months of winter ahead.
@@continentalcoxons Singapore is awesome! I really love that place. And I'd love to check out both Vietnam and Cambodia as well (never been to either). I actually have a lot of Halloween parties and events coming up, so I still feel a bit optimistic about autumn... But winter is coming...
I have contacts in Singapore so we were looking forward to seeing them last year. Know a few people in Vietnam too so it'll be great to meet these people for the first time. We haven't been to either of the countries yet but hope we can finally get there. Been trying to get to Vietnam since 2002 so it's been a long time coming.

@@continentalcoxons Booked the Avaton Hotel, (I think the nearest beach is Megali Ammos did you go there? We have gone a bit posh as its my 60th and hubby’s 60th holiday got cancelled last year too, so it’s a treat, it seems ages away yet, can’t wait ⛱✈️
We just booked when we got there, however it was September and during covid so it was maybe a bit quieter, although the restaurant was still full. I'd suggest getting in contact before you go and book in.
