A list of wardrobe staples is great. I agree with Jo regarding jeans in Uniqlo (and cashmere BTW). I recently bought a straight pair in a dark denim and love them. Foundation wear aside, my list includes - a great blazer, good coat, about 12 tops (knitwear, blouses/shirts, tees); six below waist items (trousers or skirts); two dresses; five pairs of footwear; two belts; one great bag; scarves, leisurewear, accessories, 1/2 occasion outfits. I'm going to separate that lot from my wardrobe for the month of October to see how useful and workable it is.
Loved tonight’s show Ladies. I would love to see you both shopping IRL! It would be great to see you comparing the online versus real life shopping experience xx
Ladies loved the idea of you two going shopping IRL - you should pick out outfits for each other and see if you like what’s chosen for you. Have a fab weekend 🥰
America's Cup - yes! As a raised-in-Aotearoa-New Zealand you HAVE to be aware of the America's Cup. (Or is it the Kiwi's Cup?) The graphics were created by smart designers in Dunedin, NZ. For cashmere, agree. Again and again I hear myself recommending Cos cashmere and their shirts. Such good value per wear.
Thank you for another fabulous vlog. I have only recently found your channel and am loving every minute. Jo’s Terminator reference really resonated with me. I much prefer to shop alone and know within minutes whether or not I am going to make a purchase. Please carry on. xx
Love this show! You both have great taste. I'll be spending fall & winter in Miami. Sweaters, camel coats & boots don't apply. Do you have any suggestions for fall/winter in a warm climate? Thank you
Hi..almost got teary-eyed when you were talking about the America’s Cup….I love the America's Cup….I’m an American who has lived in NZ for 17 years. I’m totally USA, except for sailing. I live on the Hauraki Gulf, so races four years ago were out in front of the house…..but the best fun is months of practicing before the races….we’re always running outside to watch who’s out practicing….anyway, shame it’s not here in NZ, but fingers crossed the Kiwis pull out another victory. Just found you two and am enjoying.
Love cashmere, but moths and price put me off 😂 🦋 Sorry to be a chav but there are loads of cashmere feel knits out there with prices closer to my budget 😊 Thank the universe though for Friday night fashion 🎉❤
As a Country Mouse, Oh I love shopping, to buy, alone. I window shop and coffee and lunch and cocktails and need picking up, from the station, with girlfriends. At 5’, size 16 and 70 I would love a co ord but I just look like I have Pyjamas on to the amusement of my farmer husband, son and grandson. Great show as always
Ladies I love watching you both. It's like a really nice chat with girlfriends. ❤❤❤. A great ending to a busy work week. Thank you soo much for your recommendations. I have made a wardrobe essential "buy list".... as I realised I don't have these core staples. Amanda how do you keep your white shirts whites? Also any recommendations for steamers that work well? Also can pleaee recommend any good plus size brands that do quality stuff? Thank you both. This has become one of my favourite things to watch on youtube xx
Love Uniqlo too just found the best work trousers for such a reasonable price, but the service in store and online is awful. Sizing is also Zara levels of crazy so I ended up exchanging things 10 times. One to try on in store for sure.
Great to hear of your adventures . You bring light to my life ✨️ Can you do womens, relaxed bridesmaid dress. My daughter aged 36 has been asked to find a dress she loves for a bridesmaids outfit. 🎉
I have 3 blanket scarves that have been bought for me over the years and they are beautiful but at 5ft 1” I’ve never worn them as I don’t know how to 😕
Ladies sorry to ask a silly question but what should one look for in a wide leg Jean? I was once told a Jean is only good if it's really tight and well fitted against one's back side. I'm really not into that look though.
I loved this episode! Learned about new brands which is great.
I would love to see the two of you shopping in real life. Maybe one episode at M&S, then another at Harrod's?
Love it! Thank you! Also Amanda W's microphone and necklace were having a bit of a tussle!
I bought a pair of light weight, wool, trousers from Amanda Wakeley when I lived in Edinburgh about 25 years ago. i still have them
You guys are so good together. Please keep on! Rita from Canada.

Amanda ,love the cornflower blue in your St Tropez co-ord!
As a blonde it’s one of our best colours imo!
Love the Two of you. You both bring so much to the Table. Go shopping together, it will make great viewing.
Great inspiration for a Capsule Wardrobe.
Love to see the two of you shopping IRL! Enjoy watching you every weekend!😊🇳🇴
I love Amanda outfit. Which brand is it?

I agree shopping is a solo activity but it would be great if you two took us along for a shopping trip ❤

Always enjoy tge show and this was no exception.
I’m loving the oversized blazers and wide trousers back from the 90s
Have you tried Abercrombie Fitch jeans . All fits and something for everyone
Yes please to a shopping trip 👍😍

An IRL shopping trip. Yes Please!
Would love to "accompany" you virtually on an in-person shop up at your favourite store(s) in London.
Part 2 PLS xxx

Would love more of this. Nice to here about COS quality since the closest store is 600 miles away and would only be an online purchase.

yes, go shopping “ensemble”!

Love you. I would like more shows on English designer.
Go shopping!
Bonds does great quality under garments.
Yes! Go shopping
Soo joyous to watch. Fantastic recommendations!!! Thank you. Xxx although Gym shark does tend to highly sexualised work out gear
Shopping - at Zara or Cos or somewhere. Amanda has to dress Jo and vice versa.
I have 3 blanket scarves that have been bought for me over the years and they are beautiful but at 5ft 1” I’ve never worn them as I don’t know how to 😕
Health spa in Austria, lolling in sunny St Tropez....me feeling inadequate and creeping away

It's a winter wedding 🥶
Please can Amanda say again which sports leggings she liked?
Amanda the bit about the slipdress bra. Do you display the pretty bra? I would have loved a peek at how to work that.
Love that blue silk blouse.
I think she means the type of bra whose back is designed to show, i.e. cross-cross pretty straps, etc.
UGH, the sound issue (clicking/banging) when the woman on the right starts speaking.
@@julierogers1155 this was my necklace and lasts for about 3-5 mins. Skip if you must.
So much annoying tapping and clicking! Someone said Amanda’s necklace and mike? 🙀
