The oatmeal ones are a staple. In my younger days, I would buy one to go with my coffee from the convenience store when traveling (They are sold individually as well). They were cheap, tasty, and filling. The single-decker (large size) was a quarter (later 50 cents), and the double-decker was 50 cents (later 75). The peanut butter ones are also sold individually, but I only tried one once. Not a fan, though I do like peanut butter.

I think the aversion to soft cookies illustrates the difference between cookies and biscuits. Cookies come from a Dutch word that means “small cakes”. So we are very accepting of soft cake like cookies, as well as crispy cookies. Biscuits comes from the same root as biscotti, meaning “twice baked”. So biscuits are only soft if they have gone stale. In the US there would be no question about a Jaffa Cake being a cookie.
The ABSOLUTE BEST Little Debbie confection is the Christmas Trees! NOTHING else compares. Sadly, they're only available during the Christmas holiday season, and people buy them all up so fast that half of the time, I'm lucky to get even one! As for the cream pies, I've never seen or tried any other than the oatmeal ones, which I probably eat once a year (maybe)

Little Debbie's are like Twinkies, they'll last three weeks longer than civilization. A taste of my childhood, they are.

Ok so as someone who grew up in the 90's these other flavors are foreign to me, I'm not sure I could stomach those flavors!

Microwave the oatmeal cream pies for 15 seconds, the cream melts and soaks into the cake OMG😅😊
Born, bred, raised in the U.S.A. and have seen all of these and love them all. If you have only seen one kind then blame the purchasing agent of your local store for not having any imagination or taste. Sort of like going to your local watering hole and only having a choice of two beers. Bud & Bud light because that's all they can spell. LOL
The oatmeal cream pie cookies are so much better when you put them in the air fryer 😊
