Love this build I'm so glad someone did it I've been thinking of ripping apart my e93 for year to do this to a wagon as well so thank you for giving me that hope it's do able 🤘🏽🤘🏽
She lives! Great work man i can imagine it’s pretty satisfying driving it, it’s satisfying as a viewer seeing you drive it. My favorite part about this is you not giving up to Integrate everything and have it working. Will look forward to any updates.
Quick note...that spray foam isn't resistant to fire, it is the same as other canned spray foams, but tinted orange so it can be used to fill voids around wires. It allows electrical and/or fire inspectors to tell more easily that the wire penetrations in the building have been sealed, reducing the chance of fire spread.
I recently occurred to me to make an n54 wagon instead of turboing an m54 drivetrain. This is awesome! I love what you did with the e90 interior, it's awesome. However I think I'm going to have a tuner make the ms81 "standalone" and leave all the e46 cluster+ interior in. Question: What drivesahft are you using? Does the e46 one bolt up to the n54 6 speed trans?! Do you have any clue if it's possible to find a way to mate the n54 with the stock e46 awd, if in fact I'd want an awd car? This seems unlikely, but with the creation ofa few awd s54 cars, makes me salivate at a true full time awd n54 build. For what it's worth- I'ma big e46 person, and I love "oem+" style. Brother, you NEED new front seats. e63 m6 seats fit the e46 rails, so if you swap the rails to a pair of m6 seats, they would bolt in. Not sure about electronics, as they would've been plug and play into the e46. I've got a set waiting to go into my ZHP right now.
That’s a banger of an Bimmer. I want a wagon. But that 2.5 isn’t enough. Nice build. It ain’t perfect but it’s different and that n54 is the cherry … #bimmergang#bimmermafia
Fuel Level Sensors on e46 foul easily. I dump two bottles of Techron and fill the tank and let it sit for a couple days or week when it starts reading garbage. You said it only reads half and down, I assume one of the two sensors is not connected or reading?
Figured out the issue. The resistance reading between E90 and E46 sensors are different. E46 reads from E = 0.00 - F = 0.44 where else E90 reads E=0.00 - F=0.92. So I swapped in the E90 sensors and now I get some what accurate fuel reading. But I wouldn't dare to drive the car while it reads E . Im going to consider 1/4 as my empty limit.
It Drives YaY!!!!!!. I'm Planning on taking the car to BigSoCalEuro 2021 @irvindale speedway, and hopefully do a few drag runs to get some baseline numbers, before throwing bolt on and upping the power to 400ish whp. If you are around the neighborhood, come check it out. www.big-euro.com/
hello it's a beautifull build.. the questions the rear vent channels in the mid/centreconsole are the functional..?? and the unterseat subwoofers how did you fit them in the e46 floors...?
The center console vents are functional. I had to use some hvac tape to connect the outlets in the middle to the heatercore. Since the center console is about 1"shorter than e90 position. I had to cut some trimming off of the subwoofer box and patch it with fiber glass to set it into the carpet molding.
@@BreakaBolt is it posible that you have more pictures from that and where exacly did you connect the air duct because in e46 there is no opening for these duct's only for unther the frontera duct. Hope you have like photo's from that part of this amazing build
You're a trailblazer dude. Seriously impressive and cool for a guy working out of his garage.
holy shit they did it
"Honey wake up, Break a Bolt posted a new N54 E46 wagon build video!"

Wow the integration of the e90 body harness with the full e46 interior is very impressive! Greaat job must've been a lot of work

wow this is dream engine for e46 especially Touring.

Very great awseome video thank you sir
Amazing work, the best of both worlds.
I’ve watched your build from beginning to end and I’m amazed. Good stuff bro. I’m so happy to see you get her going 😎
Thanks 👍
You should have put in silicone outlets instead of cutting the chasis..
But other than that, amazing job, congrats man!!
Nice to see your hard work paying off!
Give us more revs!
