What a hero!
I also think it's very important what the father said that he just froze, a very common shock reaction!
So glad the young man stepped in and that the little boy was ok!
Good on the father and mother for giving the young man the thanks that ge deserved!
Ryans parents must be so proud of him
That's a good man.
beautiful story! so glad that precious little guy is ok
Bless that young man 👼💖
Officer, you are a miracle. Thank you deeply for your service.

I love ❤️ this. He’s a True Hero!! Great job 👏🏽
How awesome 👏
Ryan ,I know just hear what did saving boy and I,m not even your family member but I,m very very proud of you too. That was so very very wonderful that you did that .
I still don’t understand why it isn’t mandatory for people with a child to be taught the basics of first aid and cpr
I agree
As a parent i would want to learn these skills just in case.
I learned CPR in school :/
And how to save drowning people
And it’s mandatory
At least in Sweden
The thing is when it is your child you enter shock. Like the dad said
When a couple is expecting a baby, some (most?) take a birthing class. They teach the expectant mom how to breathe during contractions, what the dad can do to help.
They should also teach infant and child CPR.
If a situation arises, the parents would at the very least know to call 911 and begin chest compressions.
Once the 911 operator is on the phone, he/she could further instruct, rather than start from scratch.
BTW, I've been saying this for years.
I now tell my patients (I'm a physical therapist), to learn CPR if they spend any time with their grandchildren and to inform their adult children to take classes as well.
I think you are great help save little boy life and your parents must be so very proud of you.
This is why everyone should sign up for a first aid and CPR class in their area. There are plenty of places that teach it. Hospitals, fire stations. Hell you could learn how to do it on youtube. It helps to have a dummy to practice on though.
Your 100% right and take a refresher course every year cause their always coming up with new techniques
THATS WHY LIFE JACKETS HAVE...THE CROTCH STRAPS....USE THEM!!!
God bless you best wishes
Thank God❤
Ryan is Gods greatest creation!!! He is a hero/angel
Won't see this on a national level
If my kid almost drowned I am certainly not having a party for his savior at the pool
Take care of each other♥️
Good job
... His parents should have been watching him! I understand why there not like hawks watching him. Perhaps I seem a little harsh, but since a young age I have been taught to be careful around water. This is largely due to my dad's cousin drowning when he was three.
He’s so fine too
🙏🏼💜
❤
Jane Park 😍😍😍😍😍😍
❤️
Well that's funny, I know a different Kilgore who saved a child in a pool when he was young.
Also, do female news reporters have the same accent or is it just me?
I know first aid and I can save people life and if someone is in trouble and I will save them
Wow
He looks a handful.
GO COUGS!!! We are a good community.
So you 7 would let the child !! Shame on you .
I guess Ryan would have a CPR from Jane Park 😚 me too 😋
God is found in ordinary tasks performed with
You wanna have a clown car full of kids but you ant take a 10 min class to learn CPR.
The father: aww thank you so much
Young man: your welcome
The father: come and get a free slurpee at my gas station I own
You should never leave your child alone by the swimming pool.
Big hero bash hahahah
That's a man!!!!!
Your 3 yr old is in the pool alone? ...wtf kind of parent are you!!!!
They were there, he had a life jacket on that he slipped out of.
the father looks so uncomfortable talking to him
No he doesn't
Guilt
He's getting free gas and snacks for life definitely
Irresponsible parents ?
No, mistakes happen. The child slipped out his swimming vest ....maybe the pressure of the water. But it's not like the parents threw him in the water without a vest. Anyway, thank God Ryan was there. ❤
