Yeah man. Timing. So key. I'm usually slow/late on my unit turn and then I gotta hurry up the swing to make up for that. Solid video again. pumping out the content now
Hey Brady, I tend to miss into the net a lot when I hit a windshield wiper forehand, especially when I try to hit a bigger shot or when the ball comes in with a lot of pace. Feels like the ball just dips down very quickly and into the net, often not even reaching the net and just hitting the ground. Got any tips?
Brady, thanks for the video. I hit the net when the ball is short and low. Most of the time i try to topspin this ball back and it hits the net. When I slice this ball, i have a better chance of clearing the net.
When it's low you have two options: vertical racket path or change your grip to open the strings. I prefer going with a vertical racket path unless the ball is just too low.
@@DailyTennisLesson Thanks for the response. That's one shot that cannot consciously master. You know it took me a while to learn to hit in front of me to get that perfect contact point. I only do the vertical out of natural reaction to a deep ball or I'm just late. Now if I have to do that vertical forehand intentionally, I have to go back and train myself to hit late again. Haha. Tennis is a strange game.
And #4 hitting on the lower part of the racket head which closes the racket face but sometimes goes into the net. I have a great thbh when i do this but don't tell my rivals ;
I've been working on my lag and snap but I don't think I am getting it right. You can see my forehand on the video on my channel titled "How Do I Like the New Racket?"
Mark needs a Hollywood agent; he is so good. Thanks, Brady.

Can you do one about missing long?
For sure--will keep in mind for the future. Thanks Richard!
@@DailyTennisLesson you have a great channel.
V.v.v. helpful
Thanks for watching!
I find another cause can be getting too closed a stance and trying to hit a cross court forehand
Yes while that isn't quite as bad, closing your stance can lead to a closed racket face compared to open.
Yep! 1..2..3.. talking "bout me. I'll bet I do all of these. Off to work I go.
Haha best of luck Tim!
Net .. we have no chance ,😊😊
Thank you. This makes sende.😁sense.
I think not keeping my eye on the ball long enough is another reason for hitting the ball into the net.
That can definitely lead to mishits Burris!
Aaaaand Mark's still missing 😂
Some things never change!
Okay so some of you are cause it's going in the net mine goes under
Haha yikes!
