Mike has consistently discarded her wishes and indirectly acted like if she won't subscribe to his ways, then it must be the highway. However, why should she be angry or hard on Josh? When she finally did, his life had taken a wrong path, and there's no reason to fight over that.

All the terms laid out, the dos and don'ts, maybe even put it in writing. This would help to ensure that there's no misunderstanding about what one parent can do or can't do.
I'm sure you're not a mother yet. When you become a mother and you're loving because not every mother truly loves their children that's why I said loving. You will understand. Her daughter has been her best friend and they hardly bond because she now prefers her dad to her mom. And then imagine that the man even allows her to go to part without the consent of the mother.
