Your films are always beautifully shot, and our commentary is always informative and honest. It's great to see the journeys continuing with Lexy as well. So many beautiful parts of Scotland are rarely visited as they do not have a Munro nearby, which is a great pity, so I look forward to new inspiring content in the months ahead!
Brilliant!! I was hoping you would do some of the Corbetts James! As always a magnificent film with wonderful drone footage, great commentary and music. Thanks!!
So happy you're doing the Corbetts! I'm from the US and visit Scotland each April and May to hike and attempt climbs. I'm hoping to do Ben Nevis in May this year. But I'll be 74 in March and I realize that Munros might be a bit much for me as time passes, so Corbetts might fit the bill. I loved this one! Your films are beautiful and I like that you include lots of trail shots, and views too. And you have a nice voice to go along. Love Lexie too. Thank you!
Thank you so much. I called it when the munros finished that you'd be onto the corbetts next. I am really looking forward to these and more achievable for some people as well.
Nice to see you back. Great footage. I found once my Munro round was completed doing Corbet’s or Munro’s I had a more relaxed attitude ( no pressure) and really enjoyed the views seeing things from different angles. Looks a good hill.
I am so glad you are doing this. I knew where you were the moment you showed the waterfalls by the road. I would reccommend the walk up this line of falls to anyone even if you don't go on to complete the hill. But remember all hills are coloured by the weather - I don't believe that there are any boring hills - definitely not if you get the weather right. However as they get lower they tend to have a higher proportion of tough going. I see that this was in the autumn - I don't suppose you are doing too much in the current weather although hills like Little Wyvis can offer a great short outing for you in a short but fantastic weather window.
Thanks Eddie, yes this was one of my last hikes of the year.. totally agree there is no boring hills, but I will definitely be picking my days on the Corbetts, good weather only 😂 looking forward forward to the adventure, Cheers, James
ah - another venture begins. there are some wonderful corbets and i think you might have started with one of the best - for views anyway. and my - there's some long days to be had linking a few of them together!. looking forward to following this new foray. atb and happy new year
What a start of your next great adventure, James, thank you ever so much! A real spectacular viewpoint, indeed. Fantastic views towards the mountains and as well across Loch Broom and the summer isles. Superb footage (as always). Best regards Martin
Brilliant thanks. Glad to see this continuation. And hoping it'll highlight some of the less known hills I don't have on my radar. Have you thought about doing a compilation video of the Corbetts you've done during the Munro round? Just planting a seed as the compilation you did in your last munro video was great.
Now that i have finished a round of munros i have found that when i am back on the hills i am more relaxed and have started to appreciate the views more , i have done a few corbetts and they can be just as tough as the big hills . great review and absolutly love that area , cheers from Brechin
Great to see you back in a new challenge. I've done some Munros and Corbetts and I found some of these more diffcult than the average Munro: tall heather or ferns, no paths, very boggy, the true summit is not very clear... also, as you pointed out they are quieter. With a few exceptions like Ben Vrackie, Ben Ledi or Ben Rinnes which are very popular, in most of them you'll probably won't meet anyone. Good luck. I can't wait to see more of your stunning videos.
Glad you are back doing the Corbetts. North-West Scotland is my favourite area for hill walking. Some of the Corbetts here will have long days but fantastic views. Thanks for continuing to make these videos.
Great choice. Haven’t done Sail Mhor or many others but had some of my best days on Corbetts. Cul Mor in Assynt was special same with Beinn a Chrulaiste in Glencoe and Goat Fell on Arran. You will be on Calmac a good bit more in future 😅 bagging the Arran 4, the Paps of Jura and Clisham in the Hebrides.
Some of them look great, will be taking my time and doing more camping this time 😄 yeah will be travelling further afield, adds to the challenge I suppose! Cheers, James
222 has a nice ring to it 🙂. Good to see you back. I'm currently parked up not a million miles away from Glen Coe. Been spending time in Glen Coe, Fort William and the Cairngorms, having been inspired by your videos to come and see the mountains myself. With the recent snow, they look spectacular. I have to start heading back to the County of Shropshire tomorrow, but it has been an amazing road trip so thank you. Another great video and looking forward to more.
Awesome James mate. Really enjoyed that. I was actually rewatching your An Teallach video yesterday lol. Going to be attempting that in September. Well done on bagging a new Corbett. Will be looking forward to your new videos. ATVB Alan
So funny. 😂. I am exactly the same, finished my Munro round this year and have done some Corbetts since but have not “committed” to completing them. I love the views they give of the Munros around that I have done and the fond memories they bring back.
Fantastic that you’re doing the Corbetts. I have done quite a few myself and you won’t be disappointed it will be a very tough journey but a fantastic one well done Andy
Great to see you back out James. Your videos are exceptional and you have a great screen presence that brings the viewer along. Always inspiring to see your adventures. Good luck with the Corbett round - will follow you all the way. 🙏
James I'm thrilled your doing this. So many folk just think it's the munros. When in fact there's so many hills with amazing views and challenging ascents. I'm looking forward to this next chapter of your walking life.
So glad to see you out again I so much enjoyed your Munro journey it gladens my heart to see you taking us on more adventures. Thank you James and of course Lexy to.
Good to see you back in the hills and thanks for taking the extra time and effort to document and create some great content for us to enjoy. Scotlands mountain scenery is awesome
So glad you are continuing walking and putting out these fantastic videos 😁 I'm excited for some of the great "wee" hills you are going to climb - anyone who sticks doggedly to the Munros definitely misses out!
I called it on location and potential challenge!! Although I have lived in Canada for many years my childhood was spent climbing the munros and corbetts. I miss the scottish scenery and when I come over on my annual visit I always get some climbing in.
Hii James Happy new year to you. Surprised when this video popped up so soon after completing the munros. Great start and stunning views, looking forward to more of the same. Cheers,Ozzy.
Glad to see your at least considering the corbetts 👍 I think i would be more impressed if you finished the corbetts, most of the Munros are well trodden and have straight forward paths to follow ( as you know), many better corbetts than some of those easy Munros.😅 Cant wait to see you do the two on Rum 😘😂 Your Munro journey was brilliant, I'm sure your Corbett one will be too..👍 Corbetts are great for winter bashing , good hills for first time snow newbie 👍
Great to see you back out and back filming. Really enjoyed the cinematography of the Munro round so I do hope you do a full 222 catalogue of the Corbetts, though I can only appreciate the commitment. Thanks again 👍🏼👍🏼
I managed to catch the last few videos then watched your 282 climb! Over Christmas I've gone right back to watch all the ones I missed. Fantastic achievement and I did so hope you'd take on the Corbetts! Very much looking forward to your journey. 😊
I'd say the Corbetts are more challenging than the Munros. Often without a path and often having to be tackled one at a time. Good luck. I got to 72 and then have given it a break for now. Not very eco driving all over Scotland to bag them.
Clicked so fast.... I did wonder if you'd be back James! Glad to see you are 😊 some of the Corbetts are as stunning, or even more so than some of the Munroes! After the Corbetts will you go for all the Munroe tops too, you know the ones that don't make it onto the big list .... 🤔 you know, just to give you some more idea 😝
Wait till u do Sgurr na Stri on the Isle of Skye. You thought Blà Bheinn was an awesome viewpoint of the ridge. Buckle yourself up for Sgurr Na Stri buddy
Good luck on your Corbett journey James. I still have 20 to do but given the speed you completed the Munros you will finish the Corbetts before I do lol. As a matter of interest which drone do you use?
Yessssss! Looking forward to your Corbett journey, James.
Thanks for watching 😄🏔

Terrific drone views, bit of Beluga Lagoon, The Wee Dog... splendid. You are good at this video thing so glad to see you back at it.
Thank you, appreciate it 😄 still not sure about filming them all but we will see! Cheers, James
Great James & lovely that Lexi can join you. Hope you do many Corbetts and film them!
Happy New Walks from North Yorkshire!

Thank you so much. I called it when the munros finished that you'd be onto the corbetts next. I am really looking forward to these and more achievable for some people as well.
Thanks for watching - I look forward to exploring the Corbetts 😄 Cheers, James
Nice to have you back James ❤
Nice to see you back. Great footage. I found once my Munro round was completed doing Corbet’s or Munro’s I had a more relaxed attitude ( no pressure) and really enjoyed the views seeing things from different angles. Looks a good hill.
Yeah I feel more relaxed about it already - Nice to see some different angles like you say 😄 Cheers, James

I would agree - the driving is already putting me off doing a whole round of them, they are spread all over Scotland 😂. Cheers, James
