Thanks for the update bud! I don't think you've done too bad with the setback of your accident, losing a car is so inconvenient to modern day life. I think the stone carving is great, have you any previous experience or are you one of those guys who is naturally good at everything? HaHsHa. Keep busy matey! N.
As we weren't at fault in the accident we got a hire car for free which was handy, I hate to think what we'd have done without it. I've done a tiny bit of wood carving in the past but no stone carving (except for when a mason let me have a five minute go on a carving he was doing for the local cathedral). I don't have any plans to take up stone carving though, it was a gift from my better half. The only thing I might make in stone is a fireplace as they cost a fortunate to have custom made - off the shelf doesn't fit our old house.
