OH MY GOSH thank you for this gift of a video... I cannot believe this is just a "normal" performance one night... this whole show is exceptional but oh my gosh, her interpretation... so simple... yet so sincere... she understands every word, every note, it's just so perfect... unbelievable!!!!! QUEEN!!!!!
This was Kelli O'Hara's best musical, better than anything I've seen her in going forward. And I have seen her Tony award performances. But this was the most real and heartfelt in my opinion. Others may disagree. To me it's so special (and the chemistry with Victoria Clarke was perfect as well.) She brings me to tears, like in this clip. Listening to the cast recording. Repeatedly. In no other show did she elicit such emotion from me.

Because that’s it for me! Also, perfect irony as soon as this clip ended, UA-cam recommended the clip of Kelly O’Hara singing. I hate men. Kind of a sad omen for Clara right after that song!
absolutely I agree with you. TEARS stream from my face just listening to the cast CD because of this performance she publicly states she never really understood the role. She was supposed to be cast in another part but at the last minute they got rid of that actress and told Kelli to do it. @@alexanderbetka4660
