I switched to Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and had it sense the 30th and it makes me wish I used Google Pixel for all of these years instead of Samsung which has bunches of gimmicky software and features that people kept saying they wish Google added but Google is Stock Android Pure Android at its finest without gimmicks. It makes Gemini and circle to search which is on other phones now Google has Android and is a software company therefore the Google Pixel has the best software Android period
Sit tight with your current flagship phone. Have our lives changed that much in one year that we need to be sucked into Samsungs sleight of hand as if any of these ' improvements ' is really an upgrade and warrants you paying more 💷 or 💸
I'm still holding on to my S21U. I was thinking about buying the 24U now as it is at $1000 now with 512GB, but perhaps I'll rather spend 70 for a new battery for my old brick. Somehow I do not see huge improvements, except that AI shit I do not really need.
I actually think the smart move is to buy the s24 ultra on clearance for much less money. The upgrade seems neglible at best and the competition is bringing the heat.
There was no weight savings with titanium because titanium weighs more than the aluminium that Samsung used to use. Apple lost weight because they went from steel to titanium. Also it's not 50mp sensors across the board. They're still using a tiny old 3x sensor.
Was going to say the same. In fact, because titanium weighs more than aluminium, Samsung had to switch to a plastic frame with a titanium outer shell just to have it weigh the same as the full aluminium frame they used to use. Apple also uses only a titanium outer shell, but their frame is full aluminium, downgraded/upgraded from a full steel frame.
Replaced my aging Note9 work phone with an S22Ultra earlier in the year, and just took Samsung up on their crazy ZFold6 offer last month. Traded in my Fold4 and got a 512GB Fold 6 to my door for not much over 400$ lol. I'm set for awhilllle.
I got every Samsung since S21U.....now I'm looking at Vivo X200Pro. Samsung never fixed the microlags in the UI, camera is weak in low light, battery is not near as good as the reviews suggest, performance is worse than the chinese phones, PWM is super bad...

Back in the day they started you off at 128 GB which is a nice upgrade to 256 GB. And samsung has superior AI and customization. iPhone 16 looks and feels unfinished to me and even with that extra storage they always push you to buy iCloud storage.
@StevealiciousTech Apple has been cheaper since the S20 ultra came out, Steve. It's fake news saying Apple cost more cus of the iPhone X. After that, Samsung went freaking crazy with their prices & their doing it yet again.
@katinasoutherland7693 Samsung currently offers attractive trade-in promotions for their tablets and phones. An iPhone 12, for example, can reduce the price of a new Samsung product by $200, while a Samsung S22+ yields a $300 discount. Generic brands are also accepted in the trade-in program. Competitive trade-in offers for iPhones are currently limited, and even with AppleCare, screen repairs often cost more than purchasing a new device. Just some food for thought.

When they went from stainless steel to titanium on the iPhone that was huge in terms of weight. Samsung going from aluminum which was already light to titanium just wasn’t as jarring as the iPhone.
