came here after i heard nate talking about his favorite metallica songs in a revolver video. that 80s influence is so omnipresent here and it's refreshing to hear it in modern metal
Damn, no poppy hooks or panzy vocal breaks. Just pure rock and roll. I'll have to check out more. You could have told me this was from 1992 and I'd totally think it was. Great job. Wish there were more like them.
Well for a first ever listen/ introduction to this band, I REALLY love the groove and the overall vibe. This is the type of stuff I grew up on before we had actual "metal". I certainly will be getting more acquainted with their music.
I know what you mean. The first thing I noticed about this song was that it went in whatever musical direction it wanted to, sorta like before metal had "rules"
I was at a wedding, stepped out for some fresh air (and a little less family), decided to check youtube reccomended, put this on... And then, all of a sudden, my hair grew long and sleazy, and i was finding myself dressed in a denim battlevest 10/10 would listen again
I really don't like this American style of metal but damn, I feel you on that comment... 33 years old here xD The last 10 years have been weird; I pretty much don't listen to metal anymore due to this "sound change"...
The kind of band that stands out of the crowd. It was unexpected, as I didn't have a clue who these guys are. I listened to "Enlightened in Eternity" today and I love it!
Nathan this was awesome love the band and the lyrics so much meaning with kickass music! bro so happy you bought my 1978 Precision Bass for your next Album, I can not wait for the first video you do with it not to mention the Recording of the new album, you have a new friend here in NJ, Rock on!
This is actually the weakest song on the album and it's still super solid!.. Shows how good the album is I can't stop playing it.. Strong candidate for best album of the year imo!
I really like the band COC. With the exception of the vocal style, this band is seemingly inspired by COC. I, however, don't know that for a fact. The true fact is, I am diggin' this fo sho!!!
Found 'Tortured by Time' and 'Born into Fire' in my old playlist and went to youtube to share with my friends. This track was first to be found.. Interesting how it unfortunately matches with the current situation..
Just head of these guys today from a "What is Metallica's greatest song?" and his story about seeing Metallica live when he was 15 was fucken awesome. I had to come check out the music and I'm an NOT disappointed
But...if it gets you the sound you want, who gives a shit what goes into what. If it goes against all the pretentious youtubers' "industry standards", and it kicks ass, then we all win. Besides, everyone KNOWS you put Celestion Vintage 30 speakers in any cab....hahaha. I believe those are pretty standard in Orange and Peavey cabs.
This band is so underrated. Saw them live @ The Lincoln Theater in Raleigh, and they sounded even better live.
Nice to hear a newer band with a classic sound.
I was thinking the same thing. Classic sound with a new vibe.

Totally digging this new album, I love how it's the old sound without sounding ironic or cheezy, it's real riffs with crazy variations, mad stuff!

Must have been quite a surprise when you came back in...
Damn. Thank God this sound has come back to us.

I am definitely digging this! 🤘
i definitely dig this and your vids metal jesus!!
I hear Black Velvet in the beginning.
These guys are a hidden gem!
Cool seeing you here
Same here. If Jesus approves so do I.
The back-beat. A forgotten thing in modern heavy music.
Agreed!!!
Dude no shit right
Usually modern metal is blast away. Next song...blast away, and so on. It's quite boring mang.
Wise words! Today blast beats, polyrhythms, odd times and... no power!
but double bass!!! 🤣
serious COC vibes, with a smidge more downtuning....LUV IT
This is my first time hearing these guys. Now imma check out there whole discography 😂
Me too😎👉

Spirit Adrift: where Corrosion of Conformity meets old Danzig...
Good call on the COC - this groove reminded me of something but I couldn't put my finger on it.
The vocals immediately reminded me of COC. Nice!

Fookin ay

Outstanding album. It's on constant rotation in my playlist
I just found out about them, this is the first song I clicked and I absolutely love it!
OMFG I'm just speechless, so much perfection at every level.
EVH heads combined with Orange cabinets pushing out massive riffs equal Heavenly Ecstacy.
Dam, I love the groove on this track.
Saw a couple of the band members in a revolver interview and thought I'd check out the band. So glad I did. These guys are awesome!
First time listening to these guys. Good tune, must check out some more

I thought I was losing my mind the other day when this was uploaded then disappeared. fucking love this album
A fresh old vibe i dig it like this band rock metal 🤘💪🔥
Those orange amps are looking rather grey.
Clearley lockdown has got to them too.
This is actually the weakest song on the album and it's still super solid!.. Shows how good the album is I can't stop playing it.. Strong candidate for best album of the year imo!
I haven't listened to the whole thing but I thought it was the best I've heard so far. 😅 Sounds like it should be the single.
@@allencantation different strokes for different folks lol

COC rules. Used to see them in Raleigh a lot. Pepper has a great voice. Yes, these dudes remind me of them.
@@donaldledbetter2412 This band is from Arizona but it is nice to see a younger being doing a style like COC!
@@crazeyjoe Real people playing real instruments.
Finest kind.
So damn good!! Not one bad song from these guys.
That opening riff hits like a slow groove to, "Goddamn Electric".

¡Bandota! 🔥🔥
Mmmmmm.... Meeeee guuuusta!!!
Some serious Mindfunk vibes in that opening riff.
Mindfunk! Great band saw them in Club Toast in VT in 1994 with like 7 people , full set, amazing
If that is really EVH into Orange cabs, inspired pairing.
Not to mention EMGs.
But...if it gets you the sound you want, who gives a shit what goes into what. If it goes against all the pretentious youtubers' "industry standards", and it kicks ass, then we all win. Напомнило GOREFEST-Soul survivor....RESPECT)
Literally just watched this band 5 mins ago in Little Rock
Battle High is my new jam, excellent song guys
Love it a lot!
Intro drums sound like she rides by danzig
If the singer could only sing like glen danzig.... oh well.
I would Show this to Everyone that Claims Metal is dead.
Definitely Black Velvet sound with the intro.
Danzig, dude - She Rides. But that's a common blues rock drum beat.
@@hinjurock Danzig Is more like it!! 👍🏻
Muito bom.🤘🏼
Álbum do ano?
Is that the interviewer dude from livewire playing bass??
👍👍
COC Much? Cool!!!
FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
