Dude, that just they attack in anime style. If you just do an attack without shouting, it just fill too blank.....

It's a shonen anime where the Marvel heroes are like trapped in little disks and have assigned partners.

Not all sentinels are plastic, most are metallic in nature. Magneto usually does pretty well against them until they adapt or counter his magnetism.
