I just want to mention a couple of points- 1. When Ben Shapiro mentioned that if Israel puts down its guns there will be a Jewish genocide and if Palestinians put down their guns there will be peace Dr. Uthman is saying that there is no basis for this fear by the Israelis, but if you look back you can see various instances where Jews were killed in the Holocaust, driven out of Europe as well, there used to be a sizeable population in Lebanon, Algeria as well but there are close to zero Jews in these regions now. Also, a lot of Palestinians who have escaped and rejected the Hamas ideology have also said that they are taught by their families, in schools to hate Jews and to be blamed for the problems being faced by them. There is a reason that so many Palestinians elected Hamas as their representative! So, he completely sidelined all this history and said they should just move out and leave. But go where? 2. When Ben Shapiro mentioned that Arabs did not agree to any of the peace treaties, Dr. Uthman's counter is that this was never their land and they should just leave, therefore there is no basis for a peace deal. According to what I have read there was never a 'Palestinian' state in the region, before Israel there were Britishers and before that it was a part of the Ottoman empire. Jews always used to exist, but as a minority. The British divided the land, which was accepted by Jewish people but Palestinians never accepted it, they don't care that Jews were also fleeing persecution around the world, they have been brainwashed to think that Jews are their enemies. The Jews were always treated as second class citizens in these regions but now that they have a state and are in power, it is being used by power hungry people to use as an agenda to keep Palestine in this condition, making life miserable for their own people and never letting them move on, build a nation, a life for themselves. I went into this wanting to hear something that would give me something to think about. But I wanted more depth. The argument about Ukraine actually is a perfect example because there are disputed territories that have a high Russian speaking population. The ones in the east are being disputed because of this. And now the war has spilt over to the whole area of Ukraine, but mosty into the east. It's not so simple as to draw some lines on a map and say this is our land. Russian claim is that they are trying to protect the Russian speaking people within Ukraine. That war has been going on for a long time since Russian took Crimea, and now it has spilled into Ukraine proper. So the areas of Ukraine that have a high Russian population there is dispute. Both peoples have lived in Israel for a good period of time and both peoples have had a lot immigration to Palestine the last 150 years. The Israeli people have bought all the land legally up until 1948 where they were living. It was not stolen. The main problem I have in the vast majority of Muslim majority counties they don't give human rights to religious minorities and Islamic law is only allowed. No dissenting voices are allowed nor freedom of speech. I'm not going sit here and believe, in contrast to a vast amount of examples in the world with only a few exceptions, that if Palestine was a single state with majority Arab population that the Jews and Christians or the non believer would be treated equally or the concept of Islamic state would not be applied. The Jewish people want self determination with democratic representation, but when they want it the Arabs say you can't do that. The Arabs want to rule with their form of Islamic government. And that's what the war in 1948 was about and armies of four different nations, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq and Syria came and attacked Israel to try and stop them. And that's where it got messy, although we all know if you study the history that there was incidents of conflict before this time on both sides. Of course in 1948 during a lot of refugees did leave or were forced to leave and lost their land because they left and Israel didn't allow them to return. The Arabs lost the war. Now let me ask you a question. How many wars can you name in history where the loser didn't lose something? Loser means you lose something like reparations or land. Is it fair, no it's not, or is it? Did Israel asked to be attacked? Did the Arabs try to negotiate? Did they consider the partition plan? It's actually not a bad idea in a lot of ways. There could have been a Palestinian state with it's own Islamic regime, but that didn't happen. I see in this conflict the effort to make the other side the bad guy, but we can go on and on for all eternity with different incidents that both Israel have done and the Arabs have done. If you want to blame somebody, blame the Ottoman Empire who sided with Germany in World War 1 and lost. And that's how the British came to rule the land. You say it's your land but was it? You lived there, but you didn't rule it. You ultimately didn't control it because there was no rights through the democratic process. It was an illusion. The rulers allowed the Palestinian Jews, Palestinian Arabs, and Palestinian Christians to live on their land for their purposes (the Ottomans and the British). But Muslim majority countries don't believe in the democratic process anyway, so why should I even try to convice you? That process isn't in the Arab tradition. "free palestine" means to free the land which is called palestine. one problem, most of this land (also known by the names "Juda", "Cnaan" and today "Israel") is free long ago, since 1948 when the British officially withdrew their occupation from the region. or maybe, if you don't count the British presence there as occupation (since they still let all the people there to be called Palestinians, arabs, jews and cristians, even though they didn't have independence), then this region is not occupied for even longer since the fall of the ottoman empire. when western kids today say free Palestine. they mean "end the suffering" when western teenagers say this, they mean "end the colonialism" when western adults say this, they mean "give the arabs independence, and make the jews let them live near them." You forgot to say that a lot of the land that the Israelis occupied they paid for and a lot of it also was uninhabited. Then after they declared that they were state and were bored upon. That's when Palestinians lost land through conflict

I just want to mention a couple of points-
1. When Ben Shapiro mentioned that if Israel puts down its guns there will be a Jewish genocide and if Palestinians put down their guns there will be peace Dr. Uthman is saying that there is no basis for this fear by the Israelis, but if you look back you can see various instances where Jews were killed in the Holocaust, driven out of Europe as well, there used to be a sizeable population in Lebanon, Algeria as well but there are close to zero Jews in these regions now. Also, a lot of Palestinians who have escaped and rejected the Hamas ideology have also said that they are taught by their families, in schools to hate Jews and to be blamed for the problems being faced by them. There is a reason that so many Palestinians elected Hamas as their representative! So, he completely sidelined all this history and said they should just move out and leave. But go where?
2. When Ben Shapiro mentioned that Arabs did not agree to any of the peace treaties, Dr. Uthman's counter is that this was never their land and they should just leave, therefore there is no basis for a peace deal. According to what I have read there was never a 'Palestinian' state in the region, before Israel there were Britishers and before that it was a part of the Ottoman empire. Jews always used to exist, but as a minority. The British divided the land, which was accepted by Jewish people but Palestinians never accepted it, they don't care that Jews were also fleeing persecution around the world, they have been brainwashed to think that Jews are their enemies. The Jews were always treated as second class citizens in these regions but now that they have a state and are in power, it is being used by power hungry people to use as an agenda to keep Palestine in this condition, making life miserable for their own people and never letting them move on, build a nation, a life for themselves.
Also, I don't agree with Ben Shapiro completely but this video also feels like a propaganda, as his views are completely biased and this is pure disinformation.
I would really request everyone to do their own research and form opinions as this issue is very complicated and not black and white. Please don't make opinions from biased youtube channels and news networks.

I went into this wanting to hear something that would give me something to think about. But I wanted more depth. The argument about Ukraine actually is a perfect example because there are disputed territories that have a high Russian speaking population. The ones in the east are being disputed because of this. And now the war has spilt over to the whole area of Ukraine, but mosty into the east. It's not so simple as to draw some lines on a map and say this is our land. Russian claim is that they are trying to protect the Russian speaking people within Ukraine. That war has been going on for a long time since Russian took Crimea, and now it has spilled into Ukraine proper. So the areas of Ukraine that have a high Russian population there is dispute.
Both peoples have lived in Israel for a good period of time and both peoples have had a lot immigration to Palestine the last 150 years. The Israeli people have bought all the land legally up until 1948 where they were living. It was not stolen. The main problem I have in the vast majority of Muslim majority counties they don't give human rights to religious minorities and Islamic law is only allowed. No dissenting voices are allowed nor freedom of speech. I'm not going sit here and believe, in contrast to a vast amount of examples in the world with only a few exceptions, that if Palestine was a single state with majority Arab population that the Jews and Christians or the non believer would be treated equally or the concept of Islamic state would not be applied.
The Jewish people want self determination with democratic representation, but when they want it the Arabs say you can't do that. The Arabs want to rule with their form of Islamic government. And that's what the war in 1948 was about and armies of four different nations, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq and Syria came and attacked Israel to try and stop them. And that's where it got messy, although we all know if you study the history that there was incidents of conflict before this time on both sides. Of course in 1948 during a lot of refugees did leave or were forced to leave and lost their land because they left and Israel didn't allow them to return. The Arabs lost the war. Now let me ask you a question. How many wars can you name in history where the loser didn't lose something? Loser means you lose something like reparations or land. Is it fair, no it's not, or is it? Did Israel asked to be attacked? Did the Arabs try to negotiate? Did they consider the partition plan? It's actually not a bad idea in a lot of ways. There could have been a Palestinian state with it's own Islamic regime, but that didn't happen.
I see in this conflict the effort to make the other side the bad guy, but we can go on and on for all eternity with different incidents that both Israel have done and the Arabs have done.
If you want to blame somebody, blame the Ottoman Empire who sided with Germany in World War 1 and lost. And that's how the British came to rule the land. You say it's your land but was it? You lived there, but you didn't rule it. You ultimately didn't control it because there was no rights through the democratic process. It was an illusion. The rulers allowed the Palestinian Jews, Palestinian Arabs, and Palestinian Christians to live on their land for their purposes (the Ottomans and the British). But Muslim majority countries don't believe in the democratic process anyway, so why should I even try to convice you? That process isn't in the Arab tradition. Yes, "claiming victimhood, and depicting others as monsters". Isn't that the psychology of the schoolyard bully? Throwing the stone then hiding one's hand and claiming to be the victim is the action of someone without any maturity, heart, or humanity. 4:40 "You deny our right to exist" is literally the very first statement of Hamas. Before they even state that their purpose would be to serve their people. If you want to claim that Hamas is not the Palestinians, that is right. But Hamas is supported by the majority of the Palestinians, was voted into government that 1 time and would not loose an election at the moment. The majority of the Palestinians share their views and that should not be surprising, since they have been working hard to indoctrinate the Palestinians. Look up "Hamas' Micky Mouse" or "Tomorrow's Pioneers"

What does it really matter how many or how few Palestinians support Hamas in this war? I'm not sure that has implications for what Israel should or shouldn't do.

- Many pro-Israel extremely agree with me, but they haven't seen anyone before me. I've never seen any pro-Israel argue that Israel is doing the exact OPPOSITE of genocide. So, well, I could be wrong, even in their POV.
- Many pro-Palestine find such ridiculous, which I guess is really just a polar opposite position of essentially the same answer as the pro-Israel side which is 'I haven't seen any.'
So I'm either extremely insightful or articulate (pro-Israel) or I'm extremely ridiculous (pro-Palestine). Again either way extreme which in this case means NEW. Unbelievable.

In the 1st Arab war, the Arabs were supposed to be the saviour of the (Arab) Palestinians from the evil UN partition plan. Now Israel is saving the Palestinians from the evil UN that votes for a ceasefire. Looks like Israel has done a better job of saving Palestinians in the last few months than the Arabs did in the last 75 years. Quote from Israeli declaration of independence:
‘WE APPEAL - in the very midst of the onslaught launched against us now for months - to the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve peace and participate in the upbuilding of the State on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its provisional and permanent institutions.’
Israel saves the Palestinians
- politically from a dictatorial regime that steals from them and
- morally by dropping leaflets & providing aid & corridors which the ww2 allies never did in Dresden.

Despite all the baseless accusations, the deaths incurred that they see on a daily basis and the ceasefire calls, Israel still perseveres in the prosecution of this war to defend not just Jews but Arabs (Hamas hates Arab Israelis more than Jewish anti-Zionists?) and still provides aid, instead of being spiteful like 'Oh you think we're evil after all the aid we've provided? Ok let's see how you like it when we turn off the aid.'

Israel goes BEYOND honour. I wonder if this magnanimity goes beyond Judaism. I don't recall anything as explicit as this in the old testament. Like Jesus takes a step further to say 'love your enemies.' Israel has no obligation to save the Palestinians who voted Hamas into power. Yet Israel saves despite being reviled - This is exactly what Jesus did. Jews are more Christian than Christians! Like in the 10 commandments movie, Moses doesn't know God, but God knows Moses. Here, Jews don't know Jesus, but Jesus knows Jews.
I mean look what Pope Francis has said and even HASN'T said about this situation. Disappointing. You'd think Pope Francis, who's read the Brit Had Asha aka New Testament a million times while the Jews haven't, would bring this up but nada. Tsk tsk.

I think this view might be unpopular because unfortunately Israel doesn't have that many vocal defenders who are gentile non-Israeli. so Israel is just humbly saying as a matter of fact that they're not committing war crimes. They can't say further because if an Israeli or a Jew says so then it sounds arrogant (maybe like Numbers 12:3 if Numbers was written by Moses) - Israel is actually a SAVIOUR/HERO of the Palestinians - the exact OPPOSITE of a war criminal.

6:21 Israel is not an occupation. An occupation is when a foreign military force moves in and starts dictating the conditions. The elite class might flee, the general population remains and is ruled by the occupying force. There might be exact rules imposed by the occupier and there might not be.
The Romans moved into and occupied Britain until 410, the general population stayed, the Romans ran the country. That was an occupation.
After the Romans left, the Anglo-Saxons invaded. (Yes, I know there is debate about this, but this is about terminology) They pushed the Romano-Celts into what is now Wales. This was not an occupation.
At no point did the Israelis come as invading force to a country called Palestine. Most came as peaceful people who payed for the land they bought. Yes, there were Arabs displaced after the Muslim world called for a Jewish genocide and there are many Jews settling now (and the last few decades) where they should not. However, the majority of the land was obtained legally and in good faith.
If the Palestinians would want to give the illusion of being righteous, then they would have to compensate (pay) all Jews leaving the land that was rightfully bought.
I want someone to point out to ben that every single argument he uses has been adopted by the trans movement he despises
