That's why Sony is targeting a special audience with their smartphone market, not for everyone. And I think they're completely comfortable with it because they keep driving it in that direction

And they did profit from Xperia 1ii while I read a reviewer said Sony has no market share. I think they are just jealous and lost in the overly saturated smartphone competitions. Sony did find a way to finally profit from it. For periscope lens in a famous reviewer's opinion, he just said it is just a moving lens and Samsung has much better camera, screen...which just make him looks a bit dumb
@@f_ftactics7928 I know who you're talking about and yeah, those kinds of reviewers are too caught up with the dumbing down of smartphone technology. From thumbnail to video graphics to review structure these videos feel like dangling keys in front of a baby and I really dislike them, they mirror everything wrong with the mass consumption and number obsession of this ridiculously fast moving industry.
Love this, Maybe 2 years from now I'll be able to afford.

@@danielrad4075 I ended up with Xiaomi Poco F5, the new price is almost the same as second hand Xperia 1 III and it has warranty. I'm worried if the xperia has alot of issues because there are only used version here and not supported by warranty

Does it ONLY work as an external monitor for Sony Alpha cameras? Or can any camera with an HDMI out and an adapter work? Its a real perk if I can use it with my non-Sony camera.
I have been trying to get it to work as an external monitor on my Sony a7R4 and can't get it to work. Has anyone been able to figure the cable and settings ?

@@PatricSjoeoe no you can't check the official specs , it dails down to 1080p even earlier 4k models used to render 4k only while playing 4k content.

I just notice that this phone has 240hz sample rate while I just read apple just patented 120, 240hz refresh rate and sample rate? What is the difference? It seems apple is late to the game and still patented it.

Nice video. Just 2 quick question for you. Without dial into the Photo Pro app, when you launch the camera and wanted to take the picture at the moment, how is the quality of the picture? Would you recommend this phone in 2023?
I don't understand this. Lot of photographers are praising Xperia 1 III camera where Marques Brownle is reviewing it a mediocre camera.

Sony takes more natural pictures, whereas new smartphones take more punchy saturated ones. If you know how to use DSLRs or are a pro photographer you are gonna appreciate sony's pictures, otherwise, the complicated menu is not for you.
I would trust the photographers on camera reviews.

How come we never see a guy who is given a new piece of technology and he absolutely destroys it? Why is everyone so bowled over when handed a new piece of technology by a company? Money and contracts.
We on the internet want TRUTH. We want to know the TRUTH about new products coming out, but it's totally commercalized now.
All of these happy "unboxers" all over youtube telling you how awesome something is before they even tried it, let alone used it for a week. Get REAL. This is the opposite of genuine, sincere information - this is bought and paid for ADVERTISING and I'm sick of seeing it masked as sincere opinions about things. BUG OFF.
People don't judge the camera quality with this video he's a photographer & this is a Sony sponsored video. Behind the scene tripods & professional shooting equipment has been used not to mention editing by professionals
Sony is using Samsung lenses for it's front camera. HOW rediculos is that and turn off
im really starting to worry about the image quality of this phone since there is zero focus of it in any sponsored review of its camera. it smells like there isnt so much going on.normal smartphone quality with pro features which isnt going to torigger me to start using it.
It's focused heavily on photography. Most common reviewers are not professional photographers.

Many youtuber already comparing sony 1 III to other flagship phone like samsung s21 ultra, iphone 12 pro or xiaomi 11 ultra but the sony falls behind especially the camera
