Dear all. I was born a ismaili and much of what you and others say is true but what should I do. My parents are ismailis and I live in a ismaili society. How can I save myself as I want to practise islam and what should I do. Should I leave ismailis and how and then what? Read Quran. Read the hadith and do what your heart tells you. After all when you die you alone are resposible for your sins. If your heart says practice sunni islam then dont wait.
In your quest for knowledge you have to study the science of Hadith collection from a good reputable institution and you’ll be surprised how scientifically it was done .
It is better for someone to admit to being a disbeliever and leaving our perfect religion alone rather than for someone to come and add innovations and pure shirk and kufr and claim that it's part of Islam
If I can be constructive in the most respectful way possible, the difference between your journey to Sunnism vs. Atheism was when you converted to Sunnism, you were earnestly trying to become closer with God and get to know Him better. However, I feel like you overwhelmed yourself in trying to be a perfect Sunni which led you to atheism. Your atheism journey didn’t make sense b/c you promote Ismailism now b/c it’s “easier” even though you found the truth during your time of being a Sunni. I really feel like you overwhelmed yourself too much in trying to follow as much of the sunnah as possible. May Allah SWT guide us all. And just remember, God notices even the littlest strides we make towards His guidance.
frontlineltd frontlineltd , guys like him are usually confused and they bounce around religion to religion often with superficial understandings. They also struggle with their sense of identity. They are driven to find a community where they are accepted more than anything else. For him, I get the sense that he’s found that community and support in atheism. It’s not about religion for him, it’s more about being accepted.
Imams and pope have similarities but their statues are very different, the imams are direct descendent of the Prophet Muhammad, the pope is not a descendent of jesus. The pope does not have as much power as the Imams have the the people. Also the pope is elected by a groupe of people. The Imam is the only one who can decide who is going to be the Imam.

There is a science to study hadith which is done by people who study in that field . You did so much research you didn’t research on that . Hadith May or May not be fabricated . You became atheist because you want to live a life without limitations
To be clear, Isma'ilism is significantly different in certain aspects from more mainstream Shia Islam (twelver). The twelver Shia Islam is in many ways much closer to sunni Islam, with ashura and such things added. The way of thinking is pretty similar to sunni Islam.
How does one believe that a Imam just disappear? The rope of Imamat cannot end. The noor of Allah doesnt just stop or have a gap with the 12 th Imam. Talk to the youth community of "twelvers" who now thinking about this and questioning the same. You will find many becoming atheists or converting to different interpretations of the Faith.

I think you are wrong here, all the ways and beleifs are not directed to God, God should be the only direct creator to worship, claiming of divinity 1% or modifying leads to the direction of kufr,. Quran says: Atiullah, wa atiurrasool, wa olul amar minkum. Obey Allah, and Muhammad, and the Commanders of faith. According to this aya, it's obligatory for us to obey olul amar who is the imam of the time and more accessible to us physically in this world. Quran says, Mun utio rasool ataallah. Those who obey Muhammad surely they obey Allah. it is very clear that the obedience of the prophet refers to Allah's obedience. Thus the obedience of olul amar refers to the obedience of prophet according to this aya. Now the question is who should be the olul amar. Quran says clearly. Inama uridullah liuzhiba unna kum rijsil ahlul baiti utahirukum tathira. God has intention to keep every soft of rijis (napaki) physically, spiritually, and intellectually away from the ahlibaite rasool and keep them purged. In the light of this verse. Ahlulbait rasool are the most righteous among all. So we say that olul amar should be from among them so that we will not go astray. Quran says. Youma nadoo kulah unasin be imammihim. on the day of judgement, we will call every group of people by the means of their imam of the time. So there are 73 sects in Islam. Who is the imam of the time through whome we will be called by Allah? Allah has given the full command to the imam to guide the humans to the right path by remaining present among them physically all times. Therefore he is the commander of the faith. Faqat all Ibrahimal kitaba wal hikmata wa ataina hum mulkan azeema. Allah has given the descendants of Ibrahim book and wisdom and a vast (spiritual) kingdom. Allah has given these things to the family of the prophet too. Qad jaakum nurumminallahe wa kitabummubeen. Quran and Spiritual light. The light should be in a Chirag. and the charag is the personality of the prophet and imam.

Sameer, there are many Sunnis who don't follow the complete sunna of the prophet pbuh,and I reject the theory of judging the companions of the prophet pbuh, how the 12wers do if there is a small discrepancies let Allah be the judge, not the ummah or divide them but I follow the Ahlulbayt who reminded us about the real sunna.

Suggest to go through Shia History from Hazarat Ali to Imam Jaffer Sadiq and divsions due to more politics than rightful heir and how the rest of them went through persecution and challenges and survived and now most flourishing and advanced community across the Globe with real interpretation of Quran but follow the same depending on the world progress while sticking to ethics and principle of the essence and facts as revealed. The first 12 minutes of your video was very interesting and logical but towards the later part of your video, in which you started talking about hadith, you clearly have not understand the basics of the science of hadith. There is a clear, detailed, logical methodology to ascertain authenticity in Hadith.

To be clear, Isma'ilism is significantly different in certain aspects from more mainstream Shia Islam (twelver). The twelver Shia Islam is in many ways much closer to sunni Islam, with ashura and such things added. The way of thinking is pretty similar to sunni Islam.

Suggest to go through Shia History from Hazarat Ali to Imam Jaffer Sadiq and divsions due to more politics than rightful heir and how the rest of them went through persecution and challenges and survived and now most flourishing and advanced community across the Globe with real interpretation of Quran but follow the same depending on the world progress while sticking to ethics and principle of the essence and facts as revealed.
