I almost spat my coffee out when I thought I heard Anna announce she was playing in the semi-finals of a HUGE chest tournament in London 😂. They spar well together - cool game.
Dang, it's gotten to where every time I tune in to another of Anna's games, right away I'm afraid she's going to run out of time! Doesn't matter how good she plays if she's going to keep running out of time.
Congratulations to the Italian guy and yes, I for one would love to see the final match for you for 3rd place. And definitely have to agree that one should never, ever resign. Never give up, never give in... in chess and more importantly in life.
in life yes. in chess, as this game shows, winning on flag with a losing position is kinda weak imho. chess is a mind game, time matters but should not be critical parameter in this game Bc8 is weak, and f6 is huge blunder... for zeinot. Playing Qd2 and f5 is winning I think
The previous video and this one were simply amazing! Apart of knowing how to move the parts which I learned almost 40 years ago, I don't know anything about chess. And yet, I was watching these two games as if I was at a basketball game of my preferred team. As the game advanced, with all the changes, I became more and more nervous and I found myself at the last seconds like the last seconds of a basketball game tied up - I was completely stressed, anxious, nervous and I was deep into the game even though I didn't understand anything! Your narration is probably the best in the world. And I watched you only from a random suggestion by UA-cam... Well done!!!
@seheyt mentionned it : Qf1+ Kxf1 Ba6+ takes the rook back and leaves Anna with a bishop + 2 pawns advantage many mistakes are time (and trash talk?) related
I just LOVE to follow your games Anna. You are such an inspiration to chess players. What I like most is your lack of prestige and your respect towards your opponents! You make me proud to be a swed 😊
OMGoodness... I discovered Anna today - and it's been a marathon of watching so many of her videos! Simply captivating - brings me back to the movie 'Queen's Gambit' Loved that film! And love you as well Anna... Your parents must be so proud. xo
Wowa a close one, you were doing so well. I'm still playing the cow and finding all sorts of ways to win with it. Seems that a lot of people fall into little traps and pitfalls after I play the opening, I presume because they are unfamiliar with it. I really like that it is so solid defensively during the beginning of the game. It makes games last longer and gets me to middle game tactics more often, thus it is increasing my skills at that part of the game. It may not be the best for expert players, but it's great for beginners. Thanks again, I like watching all the games in this event, so the last one would be nice to complete the whole thing!
Charles, when correct others’ blitz moves, it is customary to start the comment with ‘aaaactually’. It’s better received that way, especially when you’re pointing out something obvious to someone of the female persuasion.
I had no idea why you moved bishop back in the first place too... It's always great to have the rooks mutually defending each other with no pieces between. The bishop was also defending to rear pawn too. Even so it was a valiant come back attempt.
I didn't have a good feeling about this game. Very enjoyable and suspenseful nevertheless. Yes, please show to consolation game video. I'm hoping the next video is a rematch with Frank as that would be kind of fitting since the last time between you two ended from the accidental illegal move.
You played well Anna...Seems like you like sprinting, to the finishing line...so train up your sprinting muscles...meaning train up your reflexes, train to make the best moves without much thought, like your hand makes the move quick like a robot....just like someone said of Fischer, he moves like a computer!
Anna you missed a tactic. When he took your rook on a8 then you too his bishop then he moved his rook on F1 next to his king you could have taken the rook with your queen then his king would have taken back and then the brilliant move bishop a6 check then he moves the king and then your rook takes his queen on a8. Therefore you could've have a whole piece more
/Olle J.
If I was up those pawns, I woulda just Qf6 (instead of Qc7) and blunt the active queen immediately. The trade doubles pawns but simplifies and sidesteps back row issues. What do you think?
Anna: your tells are 1.Rocking/swaying, 2. Grabbing your hands and fingers (Squeezing). Fast jerky head movements. Relax, play a poker face. Rotate your shoulders to settle into a natural position, and breath (You are probably holding your breath a little too). Your visible anxiety is less effective than a deadly calm demeanour lol. Remember: Fear is the mind killer.
10:10 of course u could have done something different Anna. The winning move here was queen takes f1 rook, with the idea of winning his queen. String goes Queen takes rook, king takes queen (almost forced) bishop checks by moving to a6, king moves anywhere and rook takes queen!!! This was difficult to see with 40 secs left on the clock tho.
Time management continues to hold you back. Perhaps its's time to consult mom? But your still so young to be playing at this level. Proud of you sweetie.
At 5:25, doesn't The Italian Guy have the infamous 'Greek Gift' #-sequence..(minus the Knight)..? Rather than the Rh3 move, he simply sacrifices the Bishop with Bh7+... zugswang is K must take B, then R to the h-file...K must return to g8..then Q completes & closes the diagonal... protected by Anna's pawns... Black Q is one move behind
"let me know if you want to see that round".... you expect any answer other than "yes!"? after we watched the rest of the tournament!
Anna making you work that algorithm
Anna, thank you for putting in the wins and the losses with running commentary. That really helps us club players!
I agree
Makes it real. Couldn't be moreso.
Yes! Great stuff!
The Italian Guy is great! What a good sport.. and nice fitting shirt.
That shirt! ❤
Too tight 😩
@@FrancescoSciaudone-up1vy I think I speak for everyone, we were hoping that you two went on a date after this.

Interestingly, when she watches her mom play she always looks extremely concerned with how her time is running out.
At 10:03 there was ..., Qxf1+ 2. Kxf1 Ba6+!! I was so happy I spotted that tactic a move earlier before Italian guy played Re3
I saw that during the game, too
Congratulations to the Italian guy and yes, I for one would love to see the final match for you for 3rd place. And definitely have to agree that one should never, ever resign. Never give up, never give in... in chess and more importantly in life.

0:19 where? 🤌🤌
classic Italian hands lol
Your interaction at the end was very funny and wholesome! "You stressed me!" "No, you stressed me! I was completely winning."

Great game! Blundering the rook was critical. But your mass attack in your endgame was terrific!
I so enjoy your games

the narrative on these games is strangely compelling. Well put together videos !
YES! We want to see your last game in this tournament! This was exciting!
to be fair in the previous match he was who had a winning game and made a blunder.
Thank you for showing this game. Very interesting to see rematch.
Du gör bra content och jag gillar att du berättar hur du tänker. Ser fram emot att se finalen

So glad Anna chose to show game(s) she lost as well. Definitely was a super entertaining game.
Tiiiiime! But it was fun seeing that black&white bar to the left going up and down like a jojo. 😄
Great upload as always!
11:37 lol this part cracked me up ... Anna complimented him by saying "You're too fast " and gets the answer " You stressed me " xD xD
Anna's greatest opponent... the clock. ⏰
As always another entertaining match. Thanks for sharing your blunders so we can learn from them. Yes we want to see your final match please.
Nice to see you finally playing with the guy obviously crushing on you!
Of course we want to see the next round!
Very exciting and good to hear how you were thinking, its lika a third dimension on the board. Thanks.
"The Italian Guy" a/k/a "Arms" LOL
Anna losing on time...imagine that.
I hear her say to herself anna don't loose on time
Thank you for the spolier
Who reads the comments before watching the video? Weird
Why are you reading comments before watching the video? That seems like a blunder just like how she lost her rook.@@MrDanielfff777
I do while ads are playing, some do. A lot read while playing.

He was quietly upset, because he blew his ‘mating strategy’! 😂
Not necessarily.
It was never going to work 😉

You missed Qxf1+ ... kxf1, Ba6+ and then his Queen was hanging. You would have been a rook and bishop vs a rook advantage
at 10:05
Great catch
@@RealTerrainHobbies Easy to spot with the engine going crazy haha
@@44r0n-9it’s actually an easy enough tactic, but of course it can be more easily missed when low on time😉

Never resign, Anna can always lose on clock.
it is a lesson about overthinking and how the games go a blunder contests at the end
I like the chemistry between these two haha just sayin... ;)
Wow,, what a match! Please show the final game.
Not in the open.
by the way, the computer preferred h6 over g6. it was a tough lost and you were winning until the blunder that changed the fortune of the game.
GG to the both of you
Great content, Anna!
I was hoping that you would pull it out, but still congratulations to the Italian Guy.
YO???
Pretty evenly matched, and also . . .
Very nice videos!! Had a lot of fun watching :)
So sorry that you were eliminated. Would love to see you get third and still be on the podium.

OMG what a great fight!!
Of course, we want to see it. Please keep us in the game :)
Oh Anna, you have got to get your time management sorted out! You play such good games but always get into time trouble 😢
Anna is much better in the opening than the opponent.
Fun Fun Fun, another excellent video, thank you Anna, Yes next game please 😀

at 10:04 you missed queen takes rook on f1 then king takes queen and then bishop a6 check with a discovered attack on queen 😔
Both stealing glances at each other's chest. 😂

Before Corona I had arms like him😢 unbelievably still struggling to be regular at the gym.
Tough pressure
I was screaming queen to d5 but Anna couldn’t hear me
When you go Bishop B4, what do you do when they do pawn a3 to push you away. I started last week and don't know why the pros never do this
Once again the clock beats Anna. Is there a way to flip that "I'm about to flag" switch a bit earlier?
Enjoy your commentary so much. Chess Princess

Absolutely yes.
I like this duo:)
I wanna see the finals!! 🤣🤣

Hunky Italian man is so smitten with Anna. I think he wants to be Mr Anna Cramling.
Siri, what is "Projection"?
Thank you for these games & MORE PLEASE! FREE
With 0.3 seconds left on her clock the stalemate was the best outcome unless you had memorized that pawn situation and played differently at 4 seconds
Proud to say I taught Francesco how to dirty flag 🤣
These games seem so informal, considering they are championship games, but I am unfamiliar with how they work.
More, more - 4-5 places game please !
Bummer ! ! ! Anna you are such a good sport. Please do some travel videos.
Anyone knows the ambient background music used in this videos? Anyone, anything?
i dont know it im sorry to tell ya
I need to know too!
It feels like Anna really struggles with 0 increment, I think 3+2 time controls with 2-second increments would suite her style much better.
