I am a new subscriber to your UA-cam page. I have learn a lot, and can't wait to try them out here in Rhode Island. I am new to fly fishing for about a week last spring. I spent this passed winter learning to tie my own flies.
Amazes me, that people comment on how easy it is to catch, comments like, put anything on, hardly any skill, would love to fish with you experts, I'm sure you'll bag up on first four casts. Enjoyable to watch, next to being there yourself.
I'm new to fishing and have used 8lb tapered leader to 8lb tippet and caught nothing could it be because my tippet is not smaller then the leader?? Didn't realise it was meant to be.

Ruined tail is unmistakable evidence of hatchery raised trout.
You could put anything on for stocked trout.
Stocked trout will eat a orange :)
Not so.They can become as difficult as wild fish when they have been subjected to fishing pressure. Wild fish can be easy in lightly fished water.
Not right? Its awesome for the angler, but little strange that they spawn them to be caught. Ha ha

Hardly any skill in catching stocked trout, that all have to be killed! Talk about easy fishing..........
