Almost certainly, this song, written around the same time (late 2016 - early 2017), was inspired by the persecutions and killings of the Muslim Rohingya people by the military of Myanmar. De facto head of government (and Nobel Peace Prize laureate) Aung San Suu Kyi was criticised for her inaction and silence over the issue and doing little to prevent military abuses. Sadly/infuriatingly, this song continues to remain necessary.
