For context, blade ball is not an update, it’s just that garou got an update where he can counter projectiles, and people(with private servers plus) turned off cooldown, throw a sonic shuriken and spam counter until someone gets hit

10:31 the reason why, is because metal bat (the character that does that) gets stronger the more he takes damage/his fighting spirit builds up. hurting himself means more strength.

12:09 The meaning of this is that when you activate ultimate like garou or genos, one person is waiting for you to hit them so they can kill you with death counter so you waste the ultimate. Hope this helps :D
