Crushing those miles...and keep that positive attitude. The trail is physically challenging, the only thing you can really control is your mental approach to the journey.
Hi Gab. Sorry I missed your hike this summer but just found your channel and have been enjoying your vlog. I'm from Staten Island and do a lot of trail magic in NY and NJ so would have been fun to run into you while on trail. Noticed that your vlog stops shortly after New York. Hope all went well and you were able to finish the trail. I'm retiring this year and starting my AT thru hike March 15th going NOBO from Springer. I'm vlogging at Stan The Man Hikes on UA-cam. Be well!
Hi Stan! Thank you for following along. i finished my hike at Katahdin on September 10 but have not had a ton of time to vlog since i’ve been home! Awesome to hear that you are starting your thru-hike this Spring. I will be following along and hope to do some trail magic near NYC. Look out for the rest of my vlogs coming soon!
Great video. You do an excellent job balancing the trail and commentary. Looks like you had mostly good weather through the smokies. Best Of luck on future days of hiking. Well done! Crow✌️
Gab, I am so thankful for the opportunity to follow you in this! Your drive, and smart choices are impressive. The Smokies have always been one of my favorite places on earth, and it’s great to see them from your perspective. You remain in my prayers!

@@gabhikes2865 Thank you Gab for the support. Look forward to the rest of your journey vlogs.
Impressive!
I ran my tyvek ground cloth through a few wash and rinse cycles in a washing machine to soften it.
Interesting!!! I just might try that.
@@TheBlackCamper Worked for me, just hang it to dry after you achieve the degree of softness you want, mine makes no crinkly noise anymore.
Future A.T. hikers, the hike out of the. NOC is an ass kicker uphill, and I ain't joking, one of the longest, hardest ups on trail.
Awesome job!
Enjoying your videos and beautiful views. I like the multiple days per video format.
doing an amazing job..

100 people? OMG!!!! That is crazy....
It was!! A lot of people were spending a couple of days there since it’s easy to get into Fontana Village and the lake is so beautiful.
Love the balance of scenery and your experiences on the trail. How’s your gear holding up? Any changes you’d make.
See you down the trail.
crushing it, bud
I hope you enjoy Newport. Stay dry for the BlackBerry's needed this
