Talked to Woo at a seminar maybe 30 years ago. He told me then that most pros dragged a Carolina rig most of the time. Think about that next time to watch a tourney on TV. What are they NOT showing you?
Woo is such a classic. I really miss his presence in the sport. I've been worm fishing for 20+ years and I just learned a bunch...using a spinning rod to T-rig a worm for one. I don't think I ready to punch with a spincast just yet though.
Nice to see how a pro handles his equipment. Fish comes out of the water and the rod goes in the crook of his elbow. No flinging it on the deck like a disposable mop. Unhooks fish quickly and lets them go. “Pay attention when I talk to you, son...”
Gotta love that vest he has on. Sponsorship has come a long way...
Woo was one of my favorites back in the day
I remember flipping through the pages of a good old cabelas or bass pro catalog for hours. These kids these days are screwed man :(
Great video! It may be from 1995 but I still learned things I can apply to fishing right now.
When I think of Woo Daves the first thing that comes to mind is Worms and Glass Beads
Keeeeep em coming! These are all classics I remember watching with my dad as a kid

I watch so many UA-cam fishing videos, and none of them teach me shit compared to these old school videos. Thank you very much for uploading these.
1995. Half my life ago. Where does time go?
I remember buying this on VHS from Bass pro shops. 😊

Now here's an ole icon BASS Master Woo Dave's
One of the best Worm video ever made
I absolutely love these videos, bringing back memories.. keep them coming!
Man I wish I still had this DVD. I watched this, KVD Bass Tactics, and Stacy King's Topwater DVDs from Bass Pro back in the day. Good times.

I love his easy going style and his honesty. I met him back in the 90’s and he was a very kind gentleman.
One of my absolute favorites
I remember Tom Mann's jelly worms back n the day they still make em too
That’s the only worm I use. Black grape and Strawberry primarily. I’m glad they are still with us.
@@batesy1970 , Yes Sir me too
I have this video now, but also got to learn the first hand from Woo himself.at Sante-cooper.
dang!
Does anybody notice that 808 spin cast he used it for fishing docks
I remember woo finally winning the classic
Woo sure reminds me of my uncle.
That's a great stage vest.
So much good fishing advice without today's catch the angler's money rather than the fish crap tactics.
Where will he put the next patch?
1:04:22 pullin out the zebco tatula flip switch reel
Regardless of which style of worm and how the presentation is delivered a bass will take the bait if it is hungry.
Fantistic.
this video is pure GOLD! 5 stars!!! thank you! and thank you Woo! wherever you are!
