The Eldest Yorktown sister reborn! Is it sad if we consider the Shipgirls the embodiments of the Ship they are based of...Yorktown not only died...but came back as an Essex class...but ultimately outlived her younger sister that she passed on the Eagle to, the original Enterprise herself...(well until Enterprise 2 CV80...becomes a thing I hope...lol) after getting Enterprise and New Jersey, this is the Shipgirl I REALLY wanna add to my fleet...sigh when is her rerun coming? I obviously started playing the game long after her original event passed and I still kick myself for it lol
@@gufo_tave oh yeah my bad either way she deserves to have her second version given how many Eagle Union girls got second versions...I do at least fully expect Lexington 2 first then Enterprise 2 some time after, I know it will be a tough thing to live up to but it really feels any ship that bears the name Enterprise is a true legend
I mean, yes, most of the ships were present before the war with most if not all becoming Mark 2 versions or re-classified. Though ultimately most died during the war with Antiochus being what would be considered modern ships that are used today. Corvettes, DDGs, Carriers equipped with most aircraft equipped with TGMs are all jet powered which would destroy our girls if they decided to add any of the modern ships. Not sure where the story will be heading, but it would be nice to have at least 1 modern ship making her appearance at some point.
