I could only imagine what kind of a badass of a hashira sabito would’ve became if he survived
I don't think so. Sabito couldn't kill hands demon, but Tanjiro killed him. Also, as I remember when Muichiro was in final selection, no one died too (that is how Aoi passed final selection, with out killing anyone)

@@user-rh4dd8hj5n he failed to determine the weakneess of the demon, because unlike Tanjiro and Urokodaki, he doesn't have super sense of smell. The hand demons body is hard as a steel.

At the end of this episode when they share "secrets". They pointed that Giyu's clothes were half Sabito's clothes and half his sister's
We can see in this episode it's the same paterns

Sabito is one of my favorites in the series partly because I’ve always liked “what-if talent” characters, but if I was Giyuu’s friend I’d also tell him that everyone’s talents have their own growth-curves.
It’s not certain that Sabito’s abilities would have continued growing exponentially (or even linearly) across his life. Sometimes people peak early, and others’ late. And like Tanjiro realized; Giyuu ran across a whole shit-ton of motivation after Sabito passed. It’s no guarantee that Sabito would’ve been stronger/more capable than Tomioka by the end.
Plenty of prodigies plateau as prematurely as they progress.
Thats true but sabito was not just talent it was also the fact he had dedication his entire thing was the fact he wanted justice for all, its a much more specific drive and motivation than alot of slayers ( -the hashira ) wouldve had, and adding sabitos skill it wouldve been a giant difference between him snd them. Sabito had already lost his family to demons, that crave for justice came from that and while i agree many prodigies do peak early ( as i feel im nearing my peak lol ) and that its not confirmed sabito wouldve been BETTER than giyuu i still think had he lived hed atleast surpass giyuu or sanemi in rank due to just pure dedication and skill if not atleast be head to head with giyuu due to both their skill and drive, tho obviously had sabito lived giyuu would have less of s drive to continue, hed still be motivated obviously due to his talk with sabito but due to sabito being alive he would be more content with his life and wouldnt strive as hard as he would had sabito died as he wouldnt have much to try and live up too, but i like your take and opinion on how you think sabito wouldve or mightve been had he lived, its definitely an interesting topic to think about because theres so many factors that would lead to so many different endings
Lol Tanjirou really took Ubayashiki's request to heart and made sure to be as persistent as possible. I thought it was funny how Giyuu was contemplating whether Tanjirou was going to stalk him for the rest of his life.
If 'persistence' is a human, that would be Tanjiro.

Yeah nice bit of character acting. She was moving proper and stuff till the last part. She usually tries to seem emotionless. And does, but she doesnt feel she can befriend demons in actuality.

Sabito really gives me the rengoku type of feel, he woulda been a strongg hashira
Theres alot to chew on this ep and its why it annoys me when people call any series that's popular mid, makes people watch it superficially. I enjoy noticing things like how tanjero and water hashira both lost someone and felt they deserved to go as the person who died had more potential...its something that brings them closer and hints matchups assuming there are 3 demons left, tanjero fought the karata one, the girls must be talking about the main one or other whatever. Point being tanjero and him can show their potential and that they were worthy by fighting the person that killed tanjero's friend just as tanjero beat the demon that killed the water hashira's friend. Nice links like this and how people ignore them and say DS mid...tell me people only pay attention if a story insist upon itself (family guy) and is supposed to be deep. Otherwise if your animation is good, then they say that's all it has going for it, mid, if its hype and animation bad, they say overhyped expected more, trash, cant win. And if a shonen with action then its generic shonen ugh. Most generic like really genric shonen arent even watched by reactors, there are generic shonen that get canceled levels of generic.

I can like more than just shows about the meaning of humanity oh yadda yadda. lol. Also I’m allowed to like zenetsu. He screams but comes in when it counts and I rather a realist person given the situation than just cool cats. Aka most humans in real life scream and run if regenerating demons who can slice throught trees come to fight you. Eh I’m ranting let’s just enjoy what we do and it’s ok if those people hate it their loss. When final season comes they better not try hop on and get the epic conclusion lol.

Makes it better. Obanai had little to no screen time for a Hashira so giving him extra scenes along with Sanemi gives us more of a connection.
