So glad you’re trying Sydney Grace! They make such great eyeshadows (cream and powder) - truly feels like luxury products from a well-priced indie company, and everything I’ve tried is lovely. My first cream shadow from them was Cliff Jumping, and I got The Queen and Babe in my most recent purchase. I’ve also ordered from them many times and have always had wonderful ordering experiences and fast shipping 🤍 Edit: Cliff Jumping may just be that taupe shade you’re looking for! It’s a cool-to-neutral shadow with a nice reflect. One of my favorites in my collection. I recommend looking up different swatches because it can look slightly different on various skin tones and within different lighting conditions.
Girrrrlll we need to bring you to the darkside a.k.a. INDIE MAKEUP lol - they are killing it with their formulas and products! ♡♡♡ Would love to see you review more Indie brands. 💓
I have The Queen cream shadow and it is beautiful and wearable. It’s a soft mauve color that works for everyday looks. And don’t sleep on the single Sydney Grace shadows, they are the most amazing formula and my all time favorite brand ❤️
OH YES! Sydney Grace makes absolutely amazing cream shadows. AND…. for ONLY- EIGHT DOLLARS….. AND a wonderful formula. You can’t get much better than that! I own about 5, and love them all. Please tell you you’ve tried their other products- shadows, blushes, cream lip colors….. ALL AMAZING!
I love cream eyeshadow so much. I have developed sensitive eyes which makes eyeshadow difficult for me. Creams don't budge which has really been a game changer for me. I love your tutorials so much. I always appreciate and look forward to the next one.
I have two of the Sydney Grace cream shadows, boardwalk and master plan. Of the two, master plan is my favorite. It's a mauve/plum base with a green/gold flip. So beautiful 😍
Maybe when Sydney Grade comes back out with Tiny Marvels (Mel Thompson’s collab palette with them), u could get it to review! I had it on my wish list to purchase, but it was out of stock. So, def glad they are going to re-release it for everyone.
Oh they are? That’s cool! I was still a newish sub from Mel Thompson and due to life and UA-cam, I never got to really watch her videos on the daily but when I heard about her passing (I saw the post her family made on my instagram feed), I was really heartbroken. I hope I’ll be able to get the at least later this year. Did they say what they’re going to do with the profits from the palette now? Are a portion of the proceeds still going to go to the family or?
@@-lovecassy_333 I assume that they will do the same deal as they had with Mel but just giving her share to her husband. I mean, I know he’s getting something. I just don’t know if it’s all the profit!
@@Sassyglbeauty - that’s understandable, I just want to make sure the family is still getting some of the proceeds because it wouldn’t be right to continue to make profit and not give anything to at least the family, you know? I’m happy the owner decided to contact the family and they were able to help the family. Thank you for this information, makes me so much happier to purchase from Sydney Grace. I hope you and your family are well and best wishes lovely~ 🌻❤️✨
*Amanda, you definitely need to try the shades +Master Plan, +Cliff Jumping and +I Don't Know, all the are beautifully reflective, the way you like. These shades are right up your alley shade wise. You'll LOVE them!!*
@@AmandaZ I absolutely agree you should check out Master Plan! It is billed as a pink/lavender with a green shift, which is true and makes it super special. But the pigmentation is lighter, so it’s actually a wearable “everyday” shade for me. I have really oily, hooded eyelids so even with the most hardcore primers I always get creasing within a few hours. These are the ONLY eyeshadows I own that never crease on me. I love them so much.
I really think you’d love the shade “cliff jumping” it’s seems as if it would be really up your alley; it’s a beautiful cool dimensional taupe shade… it’s just really stunning!
I’m not sure if someone already said, but Pier 39 looks like a dupe for Stila shimmer & glow liquid shadow in cloud (which is my all time favorite shade of the shimmer & glow shadows)
I bought three shades last week and wear them daily! They don’t budge and make it through my Pilates class. I purchased warm weather, master plan (you would love this shade) and candlelight. My Bond and boardwalk are already in my basket as I was on the fence about those until your video! Also sale starts this Friday for any items that sold out in their Christmas in July sale so be on the lookout!❤️
We’re many sold out in July? After watching the video thought I may pick some up if they have a Black Friday sale or cyber Monday which I assume they do.
@@amyseaden9069 yes they mill most definitely do a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale I don't think many of them were sold out but be on the lookout just in case there are any on sale.
Now they're going to be sold out . I was literally going to wait until tomorrow to make my first Sydney grace purchase. I just hope you didn't send a ton of people over to get all my hopeful buys. Still I'm grateful you guided to the good ones 😝
YES YES YES, THIS. I've loved these for years now; I just about lost my mind when I first heard of them and got my hands on them. My favorite is Master Plan, aka what I call my Ultimate Unicorn Vibe; it's a soft pink-to-mint green duochrome that's SO beautifully reflective. If you're looking for bright neutrals, they have Star Struck, Warm Glow, The Queen, Cliff Jumping, Candle Light, and The Scoop - I personally have Cliff Jumping and really love it. I like murky, shifty blues and greens so another couple of my favorites are Scrooge and Starry Night.
Of the half a dozen or so Sydney Grace cream shadows I’ve bought, Master Plan is my absolute favorite. It’s this magical pinky/mauve base with a green/gold shift. Wearable but very eye catching at the same time. I hope you try that one!

You know, I've been mulling back and forth about Sydney Grace's cream shadows for a long time, and as usual your EXTREMELY helpful video on them has helped me make a decision. Thank you so much as always! Entertaining and informative
Wow. Thank you for trying and demonstrating these! I hope I'm not allergic because Babe and Pier 39 look like my style. I do prefer a white champagne or warm silver sheen but those might be hard to formulate? I guess I just like warm and cool tones working together instead of clashing or getting muddy. ♡
I bought those months ago, fell in love and suggested them to you and I'm so glad you finally discovered them cuz, yes, they are awesome!!! I have Campfire and Boardwalk...
So glad you found Sydney Grace!! Indie brands really do it better. Im a cream face person but tend not to buy cream eyeshadows, these are the only cream shadows im totally obsessed with!!
Yay, I’m so glad you’ve tried these out!! I think SG is a great brand, and I’ve heard great things about their cream shadows, but I’ve only tried their pressed powders. Welcome to the party.. I kept meaning to message you about Sydney Grace as i was super surprised you never talked about them.. so up your alley.. enjoy!
These have been on my radar for a while thanks to Temptalia, but I found it hard to select a shade with so many to pick from and so few real reviews aside from just swatches, I'm anxious to see what color gems you dig up in the future! These have a 6 month opened shelf-life though, that's another reason I didn't jump in to finding a good color.
I totally missed these when I placed my order for the Temptalia Quintessentence palette. I’ve seen reviews here on UA-cam from others and they love their eyeshadow formula and each time I always see one thing, it looks like it belongs on their eye, no matter what colour. It’s like it’s their own skin but that colour , even the bright shades, the deep shades just each one! That just amazes me and I’ve not seen ANY eyeshadow look like that. I used mine and I went in super sheer and I got told that my eye looks like it had blue skin lol
I think I’ve commented this before but I feel like you would LOVE KVD Dazzle sticks!! They are the most special cream eyeshadows I have in my collection (excepting the moondust’ formula by urban decay which isn’t quite cream but gives that effect and is just as effortless so I count it as such haha)
Thank you Amanda! I always trust your reviews of affordable products. I know they’re going to be amazing products that just happen to be affordable… which is exactly what I need right now. Trying to save money for a down payment on a house.

Amanda do you know how to fix dry cream shadows? Thanks for everything and a big hug from Chile😘😘
I have NEVER tried a liquid eyeshadow; I didn’t even know they existed until recently. I have tried one cream shadow; the Revlon ones in the pot, & I only bought it because I couldn’t find that light medium sage green shadow anywhere else in powder. I get that cream formulas are more versatile & see why makeup artists love them, but I just don’t enjoy the process of putting on a cream shadow like I do a powder one even though it takes less time. I don’t like the look of mixing 2 cream shadows or powder shadows with the cream as much as Multiple powder shadows. These Sydney Grace shadows look so beautiful, but I just imagine a horrible mess on my eyes if I try to use 2 cream shadows together. Are there any tips that helped anyone transition comfortably into using cream shadows, especially if you’re using 2 shades at once?
