I love that there is a bit with the snares engaged. Reminding us in a recording it really isn’t as bad as you think. And plus it adds flavor. I need one of these kits with a double tom holder!
The closest thing would be an Arbiter Advanced Tuning kit. The company no longer exists, but there's a kit on Reverb that needs to be refurbished, if you can pick up in LA. It has separate tensioning for batter and reso, but it doesn't use cables. The Dialtune system (snare only) is cable tensioned, but it has a lot of hardware attached to the shell, unlike WTS and Arbiter, if that matters. Aesthetically, I find Arbiter and Dialtune rather unattractive, but YMMV.
If you want a different pitch on the top and bottom heads, just use heads of different thicknesses since the thinner head will be higher pitched, even at the same tension. Same tension does not ALWAYS equal same pitch.

Never get bored of your drumming.
Try electric drums. You can many types there. It's much more advanced and pogressive. Never stop rolling, ❤✌️🤘
Gotta have rhythms in your body.😊

Beautiful sounds and playing
Spuer cool. As always your demos with Nick are amazing👍
Sweetwater is TOP NOTCH! My go to store undoubtedly! 💯🥁💥
I once owned an arbiter advanced tuning kit.i loved the ease of tuning
If they made a wire tensioned drum with a wire for the batter and a wire for the reso heads then that would be a game changer!!
I agree even though I prefer the sound of tension matched heads.
dialtune made a snare like that

@@jc3drums916 Thanks for the heads up! Man, I got way too much gear, was just an observation lol!!

I like them without the damping, and the HHX cymbal pack sounds great. Add a tunning meter and whala a perfect kit.
Cool rolling.❤
Love to see Nick demo the SQ1 by Sonor.
It's like a Boa dial for drums - interesting. Can you independently tune the top and bottom heads though?
No you can’t
Awesome ❤ love it
What kind of mics are those on the toms?
Look like Beyerdamic TG series.
Sounds really good ✨✨
These are my next drums! 2027, 30th drumming birthday : i just got to save money 😅
what happens if you want the reso head higher/ lower
So why aren’t you using one of the tunings for the snare?
I wonder how the kick sounds with an Emad on the batter.
We've got quite a few demo videos on our channel with an EMAD kick batter.
What are the sticks
Can you buy these in europe belgium?
No one could replace Nick D’Virgilio.
sure , black looks good because u can’t see it ❤️👀 & than black matte , the cheapest finnish u can get
Reminds me of Bradys.
I do love Bradys and have owned 3 Brady kits. What reminds you of them?
Man, I wish 20 inch kicks were more of a standard size.
20” are pretty standard??
Meh
