Besides being the most overworked hospital in the Country, since every character in the farce has been on the death list;.nobody ever dies.Like the rest,in a couple of episodes liz will feel better than ever.
Look at Dr. Rick Bauer on Guiding Light. One minute he's emptying Bedpans, next he's a Doctor whose known as Dr. Death because all of his Patients die on him. The Best US Hospital besides being Port Charles on General Hospital (that Megan Markle had a small part on back in the day), but Genoa City Memorial on The Young & The Restless. Very PC/EO. They hire all kinds of Folks, Indian, Asian and African American.
My favourite character is Eileen Grimshaw playing by Sue Cleaver cos she is so funny and she's very beautiful natural blonde short hair fancy clothes hats and scarfs gloves lots of coats
Zcode223 I know, lots of people are saying on the Facebook page they prefer the 80s reruns on itv3 than today’s stories and characters. Obviously the show has to evolve to stay successful, but all the warmth and humour and Northern-ness seems to have gone now. I think the increased number of episodes is affecting the quality too. I just catch odd clips on UA-cam now, can’t be doing with the show proper any more. I wonder how the cast feel about these dark and at times plain bizarre storylines. Only the veterans are still worth watching, and how much longer are they going to want to continue.
Zcode223 There are lots on the Jerry Booth channel. I thought the special Barlow episode was very good, and Rita’s tumour story last year was sensitively done. I think they overdo the comedy at times though, like Tracy punching Steve at her wedding, and Audrey chucking her flowers at Claudia after giving her drunken speech. More recently there was the revolting scene with Brian, who seems to be a poor imitation of Derek Wilton, throwing up all over the Nativity audience, who wants to see that! 🤢. I saw a cracking episode from 1988 the other day, where Rita humiliated herself, begging Alan Bradley to come back to her. He was horrible to her, telling her unpalatable home truths, and they were talking over each other while arguing. You just don’t get writing and acting of that quality on the show nowadays, or very rarely.
Where Steve? Who that lady with Eileen? And that Liz seem to live through everything xx
Her names Moira she works at the medical centre with liz
@@18aks By US Standards she'd be the equivalent as a "Recurring" Character who only comes on when it's needed for The Storyline.
