Have you done a "25 things we'll have 25 years from now?" Or "25 things we won't use in 25 years?" Or "25 things predicted for the future that never happened/appeared/etc?" Or "25 things Google won't search for?" Or "25 things money can't buy?" Or "25 college courses you won't believe are real?" Or "25 colleges you didn't know existed?"
Sorry for rambling 🤷
Mike not really that expensive like the things seen. two volume books from 1964 discountinued for $150, SNES for $129
BTW really waste of gold and diamonds on that things 😮
On some of these, I’m gonna go with Jeff Goldblum’s line from Jurassic Park and say “they were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn’t stop to think if they should.”
🎉🎉🎉🎉one of the best movie monologues ever!!
A cherry wood box ,final resting bed,for my cat, it has her ashes inside, it been 17 months now since she past, it's priceless.👋💕🇦🇺
Imagine if people donated this money to charities who help people instead of spending it on frivolous objects. I guess some people have more money than compassion.
I agree it would b nice for more charity but its thier money to do with what they want. And lots of these ppl do donate to charity. And also forced charity isnt charity, its robery.....or taxes lol
Sadly, most people don't think of helping others as being important.
Yea the charities would steal it and give it to illegal aliens- that’s what all the NGOs do now
@aprilpotter3054 i agree greed is an issue, but be that as it may its still tier money to do with what they eant
Usually, they are donating to charities.
These are for people with more money than brains, not normal guys like us, Mike. Fun edition. Thanks.
The most expensive thing i paid for, was a ticket back home after I left the army. It was not the money but the thought of actually getting home from the army
Worth every penny I hope. Welcome home brother 👊
An alternate title for this video could be “what to get the person who has everything”…….😮
The answer is: shelfs
Hi Mike. Thank you for always making me smile. You're the best! Much love to you and the List25 team. ❤❤❤
You too!!
The Most EXPENSIVE thing most people buy these days, is themselves. Student Debt, Medical Debt, Loans, Morgages, anything and everything that keeps us alive, and able to live this one life. And most people take it for granted.
The thing about that parking spot is that's PER YEAR 😳
I’m always so impressed with your perfect pronunciation/accent of words in other languages.
Then…. You butcher Swarovski. 😂
I thought it was just me. 😅
Yeah I filmed this one at like 1am. LoL
@@list25 Mike actually responded!!!
I think getting a UA-cam star reply to a comment is a modern day equivalent to getting a professional athlete or celebrity autograph back in the day!!!
I'm from back in the day and I agree! Lucky guy, you!
Just thinking about buying anything on this list should result in an automatic tax hike
What a waste of money for people's ego. Love you Mike 💘
The art reinforces the thought that it is all about money laundering
I feel like the giant magnet bed could flip upside down in pancake you
Fun Fact about the Red Guinea stamp is the owners of that stamp initial the back of it before selling it to new owners. A true list of provenance!
I have a Princess Diana Beanie Baby 😊
#16 is a good choice, really ties the room together
The plane at #5-#6 one is on display in Huntsville, Alabama, at Space Camp/ Space Museum..
Living quarters and transportation… nothing crazy.
Interesting video as always, Mike! 😁
That was so much fun to watch thank you and happy friday to all
Cool video bro🆒👍
Thanks ✌
Me on every entry: "But why?"
I will be happy with just ONE, of those pretty pink teardrop diamonds on the most expensive handbag! 😍😂
Hearing some of the things on this list makes my purchase of a worn once prom dress, slightly better...only slightly.
A house, that's the most expensive thing I have ever purchased.
Thank you
Compared to the items on this list my greatest purchases wouldn't even qualify as Chump Change :-)
Thanks!
No, thank YOU! That's awesome
The only diamond I would pay extreme gross amount of money for is the Heart Of The Ocean, the actual necklace warn by Kate Winslate. Even if it is just custom jewelry, its worth more than any real diamond.
This was pretty interesting. I did not know the crown of thorns existed, whether it is real or not, it makes you think.
It exists but he’s incorrect about its location, it’s housed at Notre Dame.
Golf clubs, same as the bike, but more so if it belonged to Bob Hope
This was a good one guys.
Keep it up.
Your Lightning are up 3 zip after 1 Mike.
I'm pulling for your boys.
I still want the Bruins-Lightning matchup.
It'll just have to be in another round brother...
Most expensive thing I have ever purchased would be my home, other than that probably my cats vet bills, lmao
Only the B2 isn't invisible to radardetection.
Modern radar can't pick it up, but 89 year old passive radar can.
I live in Guyana I when I check my grandparents old documents there may of those stamps bro Guyana was back in the days French Guiana?👍😉
If English is not your 1st language forgive me for saying this.....
Say what?????
Correction: the Crown of Thorns is at Notre Dame, not Sainte Chapelle. It was originally designated for Sainte Chapelle, but that’s not ultimately where it wound up.
The house Antilles $1b Gold Yacht $4.5b Painting $450m should be on this list
I don’t care for gold or diamonds BUT… those shotgun shells!!
Love your Maori pronunciation really well done
My most expensive thing is my house. It is a double-wide mobile home built to site built standards & was bought in 1992 or '93 for just over $42,000. Still in good shape except for damages done by bad "housemates". Squatters actually!
If I was to buy a bike for $115,000 U.S. It would either have either belonged to someone I really liked and admired or 1 from around the 1880s/1890s that was just a regular bike found in small town U.S.A. (Canada, not so much)
Space station, worth it. Though, If i was to fork out that money myself (if I live from the shock of knowing I had that much), I would want the station as a live aboard personal space home as well as the telescope
The carpet, yes that I would not mind. The only issue is, its not something you would want laying around in the living room or in the rec room. In the bedroom? Maybe
It's so loud 😂. It's pretty. I wouldn't be able to sleep in the same room.
@@aprilpotter3054 Ya and its not something you would want to walk on much now because of its age. even 1 from the 1920s would be questionable to use every day
I can understand the price of items of historical importance, but the items that show someone has way to much money I don't understand.
Most expensive thing I ever bought? My house. Actually the top 3 most expensive things I bought were houses. 4 & 5 at a fraction of the price were my cars.
A fool and his money are welcome at stores all around the world 😂😂😂
My most expensive purchase so far is my customized 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 at $193,000.00... :-) L8R G8R
The most expensive thing I ever purchased was healthcare
I've got to correct you regarding the New Zealand bird feather. One just sold at auction for over $45,000 not $5,000.
The most expensive thing I've ever purchased, my college degree. The most valuable thing in my life, my marriage.❤
✌🏻👩🏻🦰👍🏻. Thanks Mike! Love you!
You rock!
Think of the Evolution of writing
What’s written on a stone is valuable to us right now, maybe a billion years into the future what’s written on a paper will be a valuable relic
list25 groceries because of inflation
If it's according to legend. It's not true.
I actually have one of those stamps are ur post genuine no disrespect
Mentions a 12 million dollar coin but ignores an 18 million dollar coin lol.
Beds, only way I would over pay for a bed is if it belonged to Jesse James.
At least the gold shotgun shells won't kill predators or scavengers. Oh, wait. I guess the shot is still lead, right? Never mind! Duh! 🙄
How do you sleep at night?! 😬
At the moment, the most expensive thing I've ever bought with my own money is my Nintendo switch. I paid 400 bucks for it. Now, I know a bunch of boomers are gonna come in and give me hell, I can feel it already. That's why I said AT THE MOMENT, guys. Don't come for me lol
Nope I'm a boomer and I want one.
Mine was a marriage license 😢
This is an amazing video. However. If you have that much money you to spend on useless antiques, how about using it for the good of mankind. Hungry, homeless, etc.? I say Meh. You do find very unique topics to video. Diggin' it.
The most expensive thing I have purchased is my house. $42,500 30 y/ago.
There's no link!
The Crown of Thorns wasn't bought. You can't buy religious items of such ilk - even parts of saints' bodies can't be sold, only given. The Crown was owned by the ruler of Constantinople at the time it ended up in France (sorry, I can't remember names and dates - it's early morning. IIRC, the French king was one of the early-middling Louis ;-)) He needed military and financial help to protect the city.
Louis sent that money in "livres" - the coinage of the day, and (I am 99% certain. Feel free to correct me - about anything! - if you know better) where the British pound gets its name from. The amount of money sent was either the equivalent of half or the whole of France's GDP for a year. Basically, Louis sent everything required, and as a symbol of gratitude, the Crown was sent to him in Paris as a gift.
The chapel in which it was held (I believe it's been moved but I stand to be corrected. I watched a documentary on reliquaries and the chapel was visited. You can go inside it and if you're in Paris, I thoroughly recommend it) was specifically built to be a reliquary of sorts. The walls are full of stained glass, telling the story of the Crown, including the scene of Louis and his brother carrying it in its protective case on their shoulders using long sticks to hold it. They were both dressed plainly and barefoot to show their humbleness before God.
Over time, as gifts to rulers of other Christian countries, particularly those he wanted to keep on his side or as gratitude for something, and to certain nobles and other well-connected people, he would break off one of the thorns. Hence its sparseness of thorns, at least more sparse than one would expect. These thorns would end up in their own small, but stunning reliquaries of extremely expensive materials made by the greatest goldsmiths and jewellers of their time. Even for an atheist, particularly if you're into art history, it's a fascinating story.
If people think the crown of thorns you are talking about was truly the one put on Jesus' head then they have not read the new testament AT ALL
Frankly, I'd Rather Speak Turkish.
Frankly or normally? (The Turkish, that is 😉)
Well here's an idea if you want to put your money on something so extravagant I'm sorry 😂most of these items are stupid to pay that much money for. I don't care how rare they are with all of this money that they are just basically handing out why don't they feed the homeless the sick he dying babies even animals something that is more valuable then all of these things.. then they can say which brag is not an idea. but if they want to spend your money on something that would be more valuable impressions that they could ever buy.. save a life
Ever notice how, despite being worth all this money, how cheap, tacky and outright vulgar a !ot of this stuff is.
@KentuckyBallistics use Somma deez 2:47
#21... well you use a silver bullet on a werewolf. What the heck do you use a gold bullet on??!!!!?????
If a parking spot costs $1.3 million, it better have a tow truck parked right across from it 24/7, because if I were to buy it, I’d want the culprit to be gone the second they hit the lock button
