Wish they still sounded like this!
Check out 'Saw Throat - Inde$troy' they are also british and released an artistically one off underground Industrial classic in 1989
I agree, personally i think this is their best album. A classic industrial masterpiece
Couldn't be more Godflesh influenced if they titled this EP "Streetcleaner" 😆 it's fire ep though cause I'm a huge fan of this sound
Wish they would make new music. It’s been 19 years now
@@danielwilson9724 you bet brother 😎
I had both Godflesh and this one on cassette back in the day! Meethook Seed
Was another notable!!! Besides obvious Ministry of course.... for the mid 90’s sound!
Damn this was when Pitchshifter was heavy as fuck
Second good album from "Pitchshifter"!So great groovy& noise, hard&heavy industrial!Greetings from Russia to all fans!!!;-)))
Сначала у меня был 1 фаворит-Pitchshifter-Submit, теперь их 2, Devourment-Obscene Majesty 2019 ... ; )
Greetings from the USA
@@medgen1c а мне кажется что канон это submit и industrial, после 93 у автора башню снесло и он начал заниматься хуйней
this has more quality than the debut in my opinion
I wish they had dark synths in they early music it would of been amazing 🖤
INDUSTRIAL LIKES
Pitchshifter,Godflesh,DeadWorld, SkinChamber,Depressor,Skrew,Scorn, Nailbomb,FrontLineAssembly, SkinnyPuppy,FearFactory,NIN, MarilynManson,Ministry,KMFDM, Filter,RedHarvest,3Teeth, RobZombie Etc !
NiN, leather Strip, Psychopomsp, Godheads, Misery Love's Company, Bile, Punture, Optimum Wound Profile, Testif......., 90s old school, el verdadero sonido del industrial,
Hot Topic industrial music isn't real industrial music.
This was Pitchshifter at their peak, very Godflesh-like, still a solid release though. After Desensitized, it all went sadly downhill. I dunno what happened? I saw them live waaay back when and they killed. Too bad they didn't stay hardcore industrial.
These guys and godflesh were always my favorite
I just had a flashback to 1992. Good times.
Someone's clearly been working for the Streetcleaner 😋
The resemblance is undeniable. Although Godflesh had an ambience that was missing from Pitchshifter at this stage... that feel of distress that's ever present on "Streetcleaner", aside from the monolithic heaviness.
So badass this is, I loved it 25years ago and it is great even now! Amazing, Awesome!
Great Ep with great cover artwork!
La esencia pura de Pitchshifter! 90s old school industrial..., Saludos desde Bogotá 🇨🇴🤘🏻🖤🖤
Pitchshifter... I like very very very much this band!
You guys aren't digging too deep for good death industrial music like this. Also, Meatjack and Neurosis are NOT industrial bands, they just aren't. Neurosis has industrial elements, but aren't industrial as much as avant-garde metal or experimental hardcore.
Cable Regime, Head of David, Skin Chamber, early Scorn, Halo, Black Boned Angel, Nadja, Urgesnake, Pore, Meathook Seed, Grill (Light is their only album, and super rare, but they sound a lot like a more stripped down and minimal Godflesh), and on and on. Those are a few examples that more people need to hear.
saw them play in London around the time this came out, the first few releases were top notch, still have this cd on the shelf
Cze!!!stare ,dobre ,czasy ,mi , się , przypominają ,, ,,, ,.
My favorite album from these guys, maybe a tie with the debut. Never bothered listening to anything that came after.
I dunno.... Desensitized is a great album!
You cannot find this album absolutely anywhere for sale on Amazon or eBay. I’m sure it’s on other websites but most likely costs an arm and both legs to afford it from a private collector lol this album and “Desensitized” are the best they made in my opinion. Their first album is good as well but the 2nd and 3rd are hands down amazing and very unique style as well. Reminds me of godflesh slightly and also early fear factory but not as fast tempo.
I picked up this cassette in the early 90's. Still occasionally break it out.
But it's been a LONG time. 🤘
@@christopherdaniel5919 I had a weird feeling to look em up on Spotify for like the 30th time in past few years and low and behold….. they have every single album they made on their now in high quality audio. !!! Mind blown haha 😂
@@vulkandeathgrip5568 did you ever find it? If not I'll keep my eyes out for you.
What format ?
@@chrisbarnette7137 all albums are on Spotify now !!
BUUUFFF...I can't even breath...
*Beautiful song **13:19**. Wish they released a few more albums early on like Industrial & Submit, everything* *about the atmosphere, unique underwater 'Dolphin/whale song' melodies against that* *brutal grindcore sound is just incredible. Metal Till The End*
U enjoy this but don't like Godflesh? How is that possible when the whole sound you're enjoying is literally a copycat of Godflesh and the sound they established decades upon decades ago
@@danielwilson9724 I know, I'm just weird like that =), I also love & Idolise NWOBHM band Diamond Head but absolutely hate Led Zeppelin =), "Partly truth, partly fiction. A walking contradiction"
-- The Pilgrim - Kris Kristofferson
@@GoldenGateNum9 I like Diamond Head alot as well but I also absolutely love Zeppelin.. Being a drummer 34yrs of my so far life id be insane to not love Bonham's whole delivery in dropping nasty groove beats lol
@@danielwilson9724 Who's your most influential drummer & why don't you have any videos of you playing?, mine is Raymond Herrera from Fear Factory, I love guitar but he actually makes me want to play drums. Also, Creed is a very beautiful dog =)
Awesome channel :)
Wish I still had this vinyl but someone stole it from me. From back before Pitchshifter sold out!
Awesome band
Discazoooooooooaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!. GRINDCORE FOREVER!!!!
Este álbum suena como el álbum de Concrete de Fear Factory, son una gran inspiración para mi ambos, algún día haré música como ellos a sus inicios
Simply fucking the fucking best and fucking keep fucking killing it fucking every fucking time and still fucking killing IT!!!!!!
Not a fan of all their stuff but I fucking love this album and have been jamming out to it since it came out. It's an all time favorite for me. Also, this album probably wouldn't sound the same if not for Godflesh Street Cleaner.
Gritter
*Also check out 'Saw Throat - Inde$troy', they are also British & released an artistically one off underground industrial classic in 1989 which matches, or imo even betters eternally overrated stuff like Streetcleaner, also 1989.*
Aint nothing about Streetcleaner overrated.. Streetcleaner, Pure, Self titled, Selfless, Industrial Slave State, Songs of Love and Hate, Hymns are all top of the genre and even genre defining when it comes to the earliest records of theirs.
@@danielwilson9724 hm, they will always be one of those I dont get it bands for me even to the day when I am being lowered into the ground with my beloved white Jackson RR24.
Streetcleaner is an eternally overrated album? Dude, you don't like real industrial music then, end of discussion.
@@pathogensmusick Oh, and here I was thinking Fear Factory, KMFDM, Pitchshifter, Ministry & ...And Oceans - A.M.G.O.D. was Hair Metal all this time =)
I swear every upload of this EP and other old stuff has "Pitch Boomers" whining about why they don't ripoff Godflesh anymore. Like bro, I just wish they actually still made music. Rerecording old songs with a bunch of guest singers doesn't count.
Good EP though.
plagiat de Godflesh
stephane5772 Godflesh for sure was a Major influence on Pitch Shifter. Both great bands
@@rustykuntz94 they couldn't deny that if they wanted to lol this is like Streetcleaner bootlegs and B sides 😂 this and the 93 record rule though
Influence, but they still sound like its own thing
