Glad to her you are ok Jens and all survived the move, well all living creatures at least :) Moving is one of the most stressful things you can do and don't worry about unpacking boxes, I've been in my current house for 20 years and there are still half a dozen boxes in the garage that haven't been unpacked :)
Thanks for encouraging me, Glen! LOL! I hope to unpack my stuff a bit faster than that. My new hobby room is hidden behind all those boxes and I should start soon. I shouldn't wait till my mojo's back, because I need a clean bench then. :)

Thanks a lot, Tom! I was really sad about the two dios that didn't make it, but there are many pics and videos, so they aren't lost completely. I'll set up my new hobby room as soon as I was able to unpack all those boxes and put everything where it belongs. In the meantime there are problems to solve. Have all the QLTs and scammells myself including the Thunder models versions only bad thing about IBGs is the window wipers not included no open doors unless heavy modded and no gas deflection plate 7under drivers window and the front grill needs cut out and meshed and a cover made for the roof hatch! I'm sure there was more but off top of my head!

The first two months in our new home were, well, difficult for many reasons, but I hope all things are sorted out now. das ist wirklich Doof mit den Dios, kenne das bei mir giebt manchmal schon ordentliche schäden wenn ich meine aus der Vitrine hole um sie zu entstauben
Ja, das ist echt heftig. Ich bin froh, dass ich reichlich Fotos von den beiden Dioramen habe. Damit ist nicht alles verloren. Zum Entstauben habe ich so einen großen Pinsel für Kosmetik. Den hat mir meine Freundin besorgt. Die Borsten sind ganz weich und damit habe ich bisher noch nie Schäden verursacht. Vorher war es eher so wie bei Dir.
Vielen Dank, Phil! Das Diorama, das überlebt hat, war noch nicht einmal in einem Karton, sondern hat diese lange Fahrt über oben auf den Umzugskartons gestanden. Es hat sich nicht einen einzigen Millimeter bewegt! Die beiden anderen Dios hatte ich schön in Kartons gepackt und sie sind trotzdem zerstört worden. Das ist aber kein Ratschlag zum Thema "Umziehen mit Dioramen"!!! Es war sicher nur Glück, dass dem Winter-Dio nichts zugestoßen ist. :(

Vielen Dank, Martin! Hier läuft im Augenblick alles schief, weil man mir, trotz vorheriger Zusage, bei meiner Grundsicherung nicht die volle Miete anerkennen will. Falls ich da nicht mit einem Widerspruch erfolgreich bin, werde ich klagen müssen. Es geht um 80,- € monatlich, die ich dann nach Zahlung der Miete weniger hätte. Das wären 20% dessen, was ich normalerweise für meinen Lebensunterhalt übrig hätte, also 320,- € statt 400,- €. Davon kann ich nicht leben. Das Hobby würde ich nur noch so lange betreiben können, wie ich ungebaute Kits hätte. Den Hund müsste ich dann eigentlich auch abschaffen, aber das kann ich nicht. Nur durch meine verstorbene Lina und Lottchen habe ich überhaupt erst wieder Lebensmut bekommen. Ohne sie würde ich ihn auch ganz sicher wieder verlieren - trotz meiner Freundin, die wirklich alles für mich tut in dieser beschissenen Lage. Ich werde neue Dioramen bauen, sobald hier alles geregelt ist, wie es sich gehört. In der Zwischenzeit ist meine Motivation erst einmal futsch. Zum Kaffee bist Du aber jederzeit eingeladen, auch wenn wir ein gutes Stück vom Ruhrgebiet entfernt wohnen.

You are welcome to have my old iPhone, I will upgrade this month.. not sure if German specs are the same as Australian, but it would at least record your audio tracks for you... Lottchen is okay and has made a couple of new friends here. Lina passed away in November last year and I'm sure the stress of moving would have been too much an old dpg like her. I didn't lose the smartphone. I just can't remember in which of the boxes it is. I will find it in the course of unpacking the boxes. :)
