OMG … is this amazing 1:36 Think about the rehearsals that they must have done to produce this strange routine.
His name was “Larry” Rich. For some reason he keeps getting mislabeled with his brother’s name. Dick was a long-time character actor.
Save for the style of mustache, he looked more like Oliver Hardy than Paul Whiteman did (and there was a noted resemblance between Whiteman and Hardy at the time).
