Hey Konrad. My fourth ride was today and I have eight stitches from the Emergency Room from my petal tearing into my shin from a crash. Glad to see these. Looking into this cause something has got to change now and I don’t feel like stopping the fun. Thank you for your inventiveness!
Last summer I got a really nasty cut on my calf (the back side of my shin). I was even wearing some shin guards that had some neoprene on the back but the pedal just tore right trough it. Could you consider a model with a robust back side?
Hi Marko, we thought about it, because some people ask for an all around guard. But we first concentrated on the version you see in the video, where the advantage of fitting shin guards is the greatest. We have a prototype out there with all around 5mm neoprene, which should keep all pins away from the calf. ( 5mm is probably twice the thickness your pair might have had (maybe you could measure the thickness or take a photo of the damaged area)) If this prototype (unexpectedly) doesn't work out, we are considering to add another strong textile layer on top of the neoprene or a plastic deflector strip right at the back. Greetings Konrad P.S. If you are interested in getting hold of a prototype, maybe we can find a solution fo you.
Hello Konrad from Germany, cool habe mich schon gefragt wann mal wenig auftragende "Hard Shell" Shinguards auf den Markt kommen, sehen super aus! Viel Erfolg mit dem Projekt! :)
Hi Leo :) Jo, leider haben wir immer wieder mit dem festen Wissen zu kämpfen, das Schienbeinschoner klobig und dick sein müssen. Will uns immer kaum jemand glauben 😀 Danke dir 🙏
Yes, we do. Looking at you name I guess you want to use them to rollerblade? I just recently wore them trying rollerblades in our miniramp and it worked very good.

Glad you like it. At the moment we are custom manufacturing our pairs on demand, if you are still interested :-)
