- Ben Affleck surprised photographers when he busted out fluent Spanish when asked what his plans are for the Fourth of July. The actor held a conversation with the paparazzi who were asking him questions in Spanish and even revealed that one of his daughters speaks Spanish fluently after a trip to Spain.
Affleck’s rekindled romance with Latin superstar Jennifer Lopez could have something to do with his new passion to speak Spanish, as the two appeared completely smitten with each other on a recent trip to Nobu in Malibu.

Aww... how sweet that he stopped to talk to those guys. He seemed so proud of his Spanish too. I love Ben, and I wish him happiness with or without Jennifer. Personally, I think she left him to have kids, and finally found her way back to her true love 💕... I just hope they can make it this time. Time to settle down with someone you truly love & enjoy life.
So many people are talking down on them being back together.. I absolutely LOVE rekindled romances because it's just such a special thing to give it a try again so many years later. I grew up with Ben and Jen and it makes my heart so warm to see

Saw Ben years ago before both Jennifer's!, at an open house in Bel Air. He was coming in, as we were going out the front door. We "stayed" a few minutes longer! Ben was very tall in person, and very good looking too.

My whole town is bilingual. And those who go to school speak 3 languages. I myself speak 4 languages. Not perfect, but enough to make basic conversations.

He does speak spanish (a little) he did a whole interview in Spanish for "El Gordo y la Flaca" en Univision. Like everything when you are learning a second language, accent, pronunciation and grammar was not perfect, but he did amazing and coherent on his responses. 🥰
What a difference 18 yrs makes. Back then the paparazzi would have been so rude and asked crude questions or comment to get a reaction out of him. Today, they are genuinely invested and somewhat happy for them, which in turns lowers Ben’s guard and he interacts with them.

If you watch until the end of the video you'll notice that Ben Affleck is so friendly with them discussing is love for Jennifer, that they each one by one put their cameras down. He made them feel comfortable they didn't even want to record anymore they just wanted to talk with cameras off.
