Game maker had integer jank in an early update. Was more reliable to round a random generated number. Not sure if that glitch was actually a thing when undertale was being developed. Depends on the date they started I guess.
4:29 The thing i find funniest about this is that, since i've worked with JavaScript where you can only get floating point randoms, i know that for an even distribution of integers you need to have the generation range *one unit higher* (and of course, exclusive on the upper bound, if it's inclusive you need to like subtract epsilon or something) and *floor it,* because rounding an even floating point distribution causes the bounds (0 and 30 in this case) to be individually half as likely as any other value. Indeed, not only is this an inefficient way of generating the number, but it's also not uniform.

I love how dream's cheating accusations have basically become a meme, I've seen multiple videos of "speedrunning 'x' with dream luck"
absolutely phenomenal video shayy! :)
At 3:02 he says it’s the best ruins you could get and someone in chat said “ruins could be better.”
Best ruins anyone has ever gotten, but could still be a little better.
Dream's luck wasn't just taken from a single game, it was the fact that he got really good luck in a lot of runs in a row that got the insanely lucky probability which you show at the end. Instead, you showed an insane luck in a single run. The video was really entertaining tho nice 👍
