i would also think about adding a little loop or something for keychain customization since obviously with artists customizing things is like really big for them
or to put an airtag for protection.

And a keychain loop on the inside so keys are easier to find and don’t get lost in the bottom
I would recommend a handle on the smaller bag. That way. You can just grab it. Because sometimes alot of bags like that. Has a tendency of hurting the shoulder a lot more over a long period of time.

Do a handle but a more concealed one, maybe attach it to the back so it' concealed when not in use. And use a strap like handle not a pleather hard handle.

Yes - and weight/wear test the fittings and stitching. I have a bag that I bought to take to conferences while still looking professional, but after a year of moderate use one of the attachments for the shoulder strap failed completely, and now it’s much less practical. (The weight was generally only laptop, water bottle, book, maybe a jumper/umbrella for weather, possibly a snack - it’s not like I was loading it up with bricks!)
It seems like a bit of a main-stay of the design at this point but I'm not a huge fan of the vegan leather flap, in my experience overtime vegan leather starts flaking in an unappealing way in places that get the most use. I'd be happy with an all canvas in a block color-like way for different shades. I loooooove all the pockets and the stretching water bottle holder is great!
I forgot about that but all (at least vegan) leather goes to hell after a time... i'd rather have it for super duper long term, without the leather, maybe an opt-in for leather, or have the leather detachable with a zip or something
I could be wrong, but I think the idea of the vegan leather, is to help keep the price down, as actual leather might cost more to the consumer?
I agree with the comment about the vegan leather. I currently use a Fjällräven Kånken bag and I really love the materials they used there because I'm able to clean the bag when I need to and continue using it for years and years. I'd love if this bag used a similar material. I love the material for the inside though. I've used bag in the past where the inside material peels off over time and I don't see that happening with this
one other thing I thought about was how the backpack straps perform when it's full of stuff over a long period of time. I've had backpacks in the past that end up having fraying straps when the pack is overfilled for long periods of time. I know it's a bit of a pain to do that kind of durability testing, but I wouldn't mind waiting longer for the bag to come out for that stuff to happen. (it would also appease people's concerns about the vegan leather)
I agree with you on this. The color accent is great, but the vegan leather will decrease longevity.
The padded pocket is nice. You can take a laptop and a tablet with them both having a safe space
I thought that too, in the theme of an art bag I think it would be common for people to travel with both a laptop and ipad.
I agree, specially with doing digital media at uni next year I could keep both the laptop and tablet secure and safe

Yes I love everything about the bigger bag except the shiny part. Keep the etching of the mural on there, but make it matte.
As a fellow Aussie I understand why you've chosen Pleather, "Vegan leather" it's cheap and cost efficient. But the pleather will break down into an ugly mess in less that 2 year as this bag is for the outdoors. Please choose a vegi tan aussie leather, and maybe a leather company here in Australia to make the bags. Perhaps you could do promotional videos about the leather, why the bag is abit more expensive and how much more durable the bag is now compared to Pleather. Thank you for reading!

absolutely add a handle to the top of the smaller bag, maybe make it a shorter profile so it's not sticking up too much, but you can still fit a couple of fingers underneath to pick it up

Also I would add detachable straps to the small bag too and a pocket for a water bottle too. Little bag people needs to drink too
Love the black, a handle yes on the small bag. Also padded piece on shoulder strap. Want one already.
If you could make the handle. on the small bag in a way to allow the strap to attach and have D rings at the bottom corners of the bag, we would be able to set it up as a single strap backpack for either shoulder. I find it uncomfortable to have something banging around my side all day if I'm walking around and would prefer to sling it across my back.
Having separate shoulder straps available for purchase would allow someone to get a second strap to set it up as a regular backpack if they wished.
You could always make the strap interchangeable on the small one.
In regards to the marker holder, instead of making it double sided, I think 2 separate holders that snap, or magnet together would be better. That way you can have all the markers sitting face up, or only pull out one half, or have 2 sets that someone else can take and use, etc.
Yes!! and i would also add to this that the stitching on the marker pad, should maybe be a darker color? it was so bright, it seemed whiter then the other stitching on the rest of the bags.

They could possible have it fold, so it is still one piece but still be able to have all the markers visible when out.
I like the idea but it’s not a 100% needed thing because as is it can still be a great functioning market set up. It’ll just take a couple extra seconds to flip and grab the marker. But it is a good idea I’d like it if that is available. But if not possible I’m fine with as is.
Yes! I have a double sided marker case with an insert like that and the thing that drives me crazy is that I can't lay it out flat, I have to constantly flip it over or try to prop it up to access both sides.
I like the idea of different colors and the black panel ( forest green bag would be my preference ) a handle for the small bag, other than that looks good to me.

For me, I love the look of a vintage grey canvas with a natural or dark brown leather. All of my bags and luggage are in those colors, so it would be nice for all of them to match.
Forest green I agree, the bag already screams Zelda at me for some reason. Having int in forest green would add to that feeling for me haha

Q: Does the backpack fit well on smaller framed people as well. On you it seemed to fit well but you mentioned it was at it's smallest so it would be good to ensure that it still sits well on someone with less broad shoulders etc.

My thoughts are the same. I'm a very small girl and would want to know. I also wonder if the straps will go really small too for people like me or ever young teens.

Agreed on this one. I originally thought I'd want the little bag but I actually really like the form factor of the big one, but only if it works in backpack mode for my fairly narrow shoulders.
Yes! I would love to see some fit and wear testing on a variety of sizes of people and also types of artists. Then, not only could you see how well this bag works for all sorts of people but also how durable it is.
I love it! Only change I would say is instead of calling the color steel gray, call it graphite. More fitting 😉

The vegan leather, which is basically plastic, isn't a good choice. It will crack and peel. Canvas will look better for longer period of time. The embossing is fun, so it could be stitched...
Yeah and a lot of artists and just regular people I know LOVE customizing with pins. You could display your pins on canvas, and can't on the vegan leather. The other thought is if it IS vegan leather and want to put stickers on it (another big thing where I live) you wouldn't be able to because of the design. But the design is cool so... lol
I avoid anything leather if it's not specifically top grain or full grain. For durability purposes, but also to avoid plastics as much as possible.
I also avoid leather things labeled just with "genuine," because it's usually leather scrap mixed with plastics at a ratio where it can legally be called leather, but lacks the durability of actual, solid leather.
There are plant-based leather alternatives that are more eco-friendly, but that also tend to lack the durability of leather, such as paper leather or banana leaf leather.
But generally, as someone who has both raised animals for food and has worked in leather craft, using full-grain or top-grain leather which is already a byproduct of the meat production industry creates less waste and pollution than using "vegan" plastic-based "leather."
So I'd suggest either going with real leather with this, or switch to canvas as some others have suggested.
Huge agree with this. Vegan leather’s longevity is iffy, and when I’d does go bad it’s absolutely awful. The cracking and crumbling makes especially handles basically unusable. I’d really love to see at least the handle out of a durable canvas instead of the vegan leather. I’ve even had some vegan leathers get sticky over time 🤢 had to throw away the entire bag because it couldn’t be cleaned.

Longevity aside... it's also not an ethical choice since it's just more plastic crap that will end up forever in the environment long after we are gone.
I'd love to see the padded part on the shoulder strap be movable along the strap. I find when I carry my camera bags around they are always fixed in the wrong place for where I like to have my bag resting (which is on my butt) Also definitely add a handle to the smaller bag. Super excited :)

Suggestions:
- the embossed top is a good idea, but that material feels kind of plastic-y to me. I think a softer, more flexible top, but not so flexible that it doesn’t hold a shape, might be better. I hope that makes sense haha.
- yes put a handle on the smaller bag!
- I agree with what Rob said about the zipper on the long pocket.
- other colors would be nice, like a soft green, blue, grey, tan and black? If that is a problem it still looks good the way it is.

This one is super simple but: add a D ring loop to both bottom corners of the smaller bag so that the strap can clip diagonally across the bag and be slung across your back as a sort of one strap backpack. I have a bag like that and it’s my favorite thing to carry
I like this idea. A consideration on why to do this... Bustier women don't usually like how the crossbody strap tries to situate itself....lol. Having only a cross body strap is too long (usually) to wear on one shoulder.

Few things I thought about. If there could be options for the canvas part of it even if it’s just black and like tan as the options. The other thing I noticed was the zipper claps seemed to be pretty loud when you were moving the bag around. I’m not sure if it was just picking up on the mic strongly or not, but looking into that might be a good idea. I know some bags have like little rubber tips on the zipper claps and stuff to stop that noise. Can’t wait till this is out!
I re-watched the video, and after you pointed it out, I could definitely hear every jingle of the zippers. I dig around in my bag often at work, and I'd be worried about making a lot of noise like that.
Or maybe the zippers could button down.
Keep the inside padded pocket! More pockets are usually better for me. And for the smaller bag, a handle would be nice. Multiple ways to carry makes it more flexible. Also, I’ll echo something I saw in these comments, I think. Some sort of external (and / or internal) clip or clasp for hooking on keys and similar items.

I agree about the Extra 1cm to the smaller bag as well as a more comfortable shoulder strap. I would also like a small handle on the top of it for manoeuvrability. As for the bigger bag I honestly can’t think of anything I’d change except I agree that the colour choices would be nice, but if not I’m happy with just black.
Definitely agree... I love to take my Ipad with me on the go to different places. But if I'm wanting something more... the bigger bag is great.

I would love to see a matching simple pencil case that fits perfectly in one of the front pockets of the big bag 😊
I would make the bottom pocket be able to swing out/fold out (kinda semi detachable) so you can load it without having to change the zip where it is.
I would also put a couple of pen holders in the underside of the main flap so you can quickly grab a pen if you need to.
A handle on the small bag as well as at least One side having a pouch big enough for a drink holder.
(Every women I know owns a water bottle, you would want to cut out half your market)
I'm not sure about the first half. Love the middle and I was thinking about the water bottle part for the smaller one, have there be an attachment on the bottom of the bag that can hold a water bottle, kind of like ones used for yoga mats!!!
I actually *love* the idea of the detachable pocket (velcro? more magnets? not sure), I know several friends who have a bag, handbag, and even smaller insert or something roughly the size of their hand that they'll grab on occasion. I could see grabbing a sketchbook & that pocket, or laptop & pocket, or tablet & pocket, while the rest stays in the car/office/etc.
i feel like you should definitely consider rather multi coloured or maybe a grey or maroon colour as i feel it would be easier to actually make them

Jazza, I gotta admit I love how you decided on collabing with us viewers on this Art Bag. It has been a blast seeing each prototype come to life. Whatever the final version ends up looking I got a feeling our teamwork will make it grand. I can't wait to get one for myself to replace my artbag I have that is way to big/heavy for me. :D lol I would love to see different spots where we could put in stuff like our paints, brushes, markers, pencils,pens inside of the bag. I also am more of a backpack type person so I would like a attachable straps that I could put on it to carry it like a backpack if needed or take em off and carry it like a nice little bag. Also hopefully we can chose our choice of colors for our bag to. I've been more in the pastel lover as of recently.
As a fan a backpack purses, I would love for the smaller bag to be convertible as well. I think it could be possible with one strap. Like if on the bottom of the bag there are two rings to clasp the strap to and a loop on the top of the bag (that could double as a handle). To make it a backpack you could clip one end of the strap to a bottom ring, then feed the other end though the top loop and clip it to the other bottom ring giving you backpack straps without extra material.
At the end they Had a good idea with having the Water bottle holder stretch enough for bigger water bottles.
An option for a lighter colour would be great! Then people could paint / customize their own bags! 💕🥳👀
I really hope you have some pastel color options! I really don't like carrying the typical gray/black/white/tan color bags. I would be fine with darker colors like maroon, navy, or teal colors too, but definitely needs to be something out of the box. Color block is also cool, but I wouldn't want to bring the price up for that option. Maybe an idea for recycled material though.

I would love it if you can have a water bottle holder in the mini bag because it doesn't matter if you have a big bag or a small one, It's always good to have a water bottle and not worry about having it on you when you are outside

Color options would be awesome! Personally, I prefer desaturated colors (burgundy, gold, dark purple, etc.)
Honestly, if I had to choose, I'd prefer small bag to have color options over big bag. (I'll probably get both regardless)
Ideally, color options for main material is better than color options of "top flap".
I totally agree. I am a bit of a Tom boy, but this bag still reads too masculine for me. I would love to see some color options. I could do the main bag being color and the top the grey/black or the top being a color and the rest grey/black but really think there needs to be color.

I agree, very masculine looking so far. Doesn’t bother me as I’m more of a Tom-boy anyway (always wearing caps etc) but for a lot of women it’d be a turn off. Even if you look at the small Dr Martin floral type bags. They’re pretty

As for the feminine part, i think getting rid of the shiny vegan leather (that flakes and cracks in 2 years usually) and replacing it with canvas (but with a hard interior) would work well, since it can be personalized with pins and/or even textile paint
@Alcheon Art that's a good idea, the customize it yourself thing. I use to customize a lot of things on a boho, extramarital colorful way. I like the shiny flap, because I was already painting on it... you know, the shapes coloring it in...

I would recommend giving the bag to a not arty type person and see what they think. Also, let them use it just like you used it on holiday. NOT being the target audience also gives allot of feedback you wouldn't first think of.
This is a great idea. In general, it needs some real world testing and that would be a great way to get perspective from those that have no connection to it.
Loving the easy access pocket. As someone who pulls their tablet in and out of there bag a lot, its such a pain to have to shove it back in with everything else.
Also a nice dark purple colour option I think would look stunning

Would you consider adding a sternum strap as an add-on? If I'm carrying my heavy laptop and art supplies, it gets quite backside-balanced and the strap would help a ton in counterbalancing. 😆

That little one is definitely on my list. I do think there should be a small handle on the little one. I never carry a laptop but I ALWAYS have my iPad Air with me along with a gaming hand held and cords and little tech things. But let's be honest, I am most likely gonna get both lol
I love the new prototypes, and I agree with your crew's feedback. Especially, the bottom pocket on the bigger bag's zipper could be moved for better access if you stuffed the other compartments. I also think the smaller bang needs a handle like others have said and more color choices. I prefer matte for the leather too.
I think they are awesome. The only thing I would change is no Velcro. It is loud, scratchy and doesn’t hold up. Especially if this is a work or travel bag, Velcro is too loud. The bag is such great quality, Velcro seems cheap to me.
I was going to recommend no Velcro, too. It catches on too much stuff in addition to all you listed.
SUGGESTIONS: You can add a small chain pocket in the inner side of the main flap.

The smaller one needs to be a sling backpack. it can have a handle too if you want, but a definitely go the backpack route. I love both.

Jazza u need to see if they can do magnets that are like built in. Like strong enough that they'll hold it shut still without having to worry about it but like built in cuz it looks nice when U can't see them, in my opinion at least
also in my experience those magnetic false buttons are more of a pain and not really worth it. They always come un done when you move around or accidentally bump something

Hi Jazza, it’s been so great seeing the journey for the development of your art bags. So exciting! 😁 For the large bag, I like the overall design but an concerned about the longevity of the vegan leather flap. From experience I’ve seen most vegan leathers not last the test of time and wear/tear of regular use. So I would maybe look at some other material options or maybe give a different material option in addition to the vegan leather so customers can choose which they prefer. A color selection would be awesome too. Maybe a few muted colors and a few bright options? For the smaller bag (which is what I’m most excited about lol) I agree a small handle on top would be a good addition. Also increase the size of the side pockets. Maybe a tall zipper compartment for a cell phone and the other side a pocket to hold a water bottle. If an artist is taking this on the go they will likely need water to drink or for plein air painting if they are a painter. I doubt anyone would want to hand carry their water bottle lol. Increasing the height a little would be great too and additional color options. Interior pockets against the back of the outside pocket would be helpful for pencils, pens, sketchbook clips, water brushes, etc. so they aren’t loose. Maybe a ring to clip car keys to? Pockets inside the large compartment are always good to have. More options is better than not enough 😁

SUGGESTIONS: I think in the design part, you should add the same design on the shoulder straps as the flap has ( whatever it may be in future )
Definitely a handle on top of the small one and having the handle a bit padded for comfort. Keep the pocket in laptop padded pocket. A sage or darker green would be a nice option with either brown, black or matching flap. Maybe even making the flap out of same material as bag but contrasting color. The stitching on the flap is attractive. The sheen throws it off. Does the 12” iPad Pro fit in the smaller one? They are wonderful bags, very excited for their release!
A SUGGESTION:
We all are helping in making a good, convenient bag so try to keep the price somewhat reasonable. I know initially it might be expensive to get it started but later on try to reduce it :)
I think these would make great con bags! I love having bags with lots of pockets to seperate out my business cards, trinkets from dealers halls, snacks, repair kit, etc. I also love the easy access water bottle for when I am cosplaying.
IF multiple color variations are feasible - make one of the colors "blank canvas white"! That allows dyes and markers in bright colors to really pop.
People have mentioned wanting to customize with pins and patches and stuff. Having one varient specific for radical customization would be good!

I don't think several colors are absolutely needed but would be a nice add on
SUGGESTION:
Change the color of the inner material in the large compartment. To be something extremely vibrant or just not the same color, as a lot of the stuff that will end up getting put in to the bag. I have done this on a bag, that I have made my self. It is so easy to find the small things, that always end up at the bottom of the bag.
(note: I have used Safety Orange, that maybe to much. but it sure works as intended.)
I really like this suggestion and it would give it a nice pop of color when you opened it. Plus I have noticed that it is easier to find items if the fabric inside a bag is bright/colorful.
A flap the same fabric as the rest of the bag would be nice as it's customisable. You could put pins on there or perhaps iron on patches (heck, Jazza you have an amazing design team, they could design some and they could come with the bag). Could even customise it with fabric paints. There could even be some of the stitching in the Jazza wall design on it. But that would still make it customisable for the future owner
Defiantly add a handle o the smaller bag. I would use both bags. The large one for school and the small one for smaller trips when I don’t need everything. For the small one I usually like having my iPad and a small drawing notebook.
Keep the padded pocket. It is a good tablet, e-reader, or drawing tablet/pad pocket.
There’s a dynamic between functionality and fashionability that you are having to strike a balance with. You should make it so that the smaller one focuses more on fashionability and the larger one more so on functionality. But there should be elements of both in either.
I never buy anything black if I can avoid it, a neutral option like tan, brown or other earth tones would make a huge difference for me!
And make the flap matte please! I love the idea of making it customisable/interchangable.
i recently bough a messenger bag and it has a USB and headphone jack on one side that inside has the cables to conect it to the proper devices so you dont need to open the bag to plug stuff like a charging cable to a battery pack or headphones.. maybe that can fit in your bag... i dunno
Idk why but a glossy black feels... Cheaper than I would like? I wouldn't mind a different type of canvas for the top but something about a glossy top feels... Lunch boxy?
The functionality of the bag is pretty cool, but I DON'T LIKE the bags' aesthetic (I'm sorry Jazza). Please have differents colors, designs, and a matte leather option. I would love to have a super handy bag. But, not in a plain black bag with a glossy flop.
Add some SUPPORT AT THE BOTTOM of the bag to keep it flat on the ground as I have had some bag just flop down when they are somewhat empty
I would put a strap on the small, but also change the strap so that it is more like a string that can then convert into a backpack by unzipping the strap or by slipping the strap through a loop at the top. Mini backpacks are a thing
oh yes different colours! That was my first thought seeing it! I LOVE colourful stuff! Just black / grey is to boring for me
I have a messenger bag that has a padded divider in the main pocket. It's great having padded pockets. However, over time, and with use, the padded divider didn't hold it's shape well. It's no longer firm, it's been crushed, got matted and decreased in volume. This caused it to bunch at the bottom of the divider itself, leaving hollow fabric at the top. It's an annoyance when I have to empty my bag and somehow manoeuvre/rotate the padding for it to temporarily fit flat again. For your bag, is there a way to have the padding sewn into the fabric to prevent it from slipping internally?
I still think the mini bag should be able to hold at least a 14 inch laptop or something because if you have a 2 in 1 or a larger laptop that u use for digital art then the mini bag won't work and the bigger bag might be too excessive
especially when many macbook users try to be minimalist

1) if you can do other color variations, you definitely should. Either the leather top or the bag fabric being available in variety.
2) definitely a handle on the small bag
3) the small bag seems a little thin in the main compartment to me - like you'd be able to fit the one sketchbook/ipad and that's it. I would want to be able to fit a sketchbook and a small travel watercolor palette in the same compartment and I'm not sure the small bag could hold up to that
4)I completely agree that the zipper, on the long bottom compartment on the outside of the large bag, needs to wrap around to one side in order to be more accessible while the other compartments are full.
5)move that smaller padded pocket from the laptop compartment to the main compartment. The main issue with using that secondary pocket for any additional device is it will create a bump on the outside of the bag between the wearer and the back of the bag that will very likely be noticeable.
7) less shiney leather, maybe not fully matte, but not so shiney compared to the fabric texture.

I like the extra padded pocket, it can be useful for a folder to slide in. I love the shiny design, the stitching too and color choice.
I'd still prefer a foldable marker stand, but that's me.

The mini version would be good to have a small handle, but not stitched onto the top but stitched onto the backside, with a slightly curved handle, same material as the other handle.
This would be something I'd save up for to buy and that's gonna be costly on shipping for me too but will be worth it. And I can pass it down to my youngest cuz he's still leaning into growing more into the arts and writing too.
Large bag - Have only one pocket on one end for a water bottle, and have other end have a pocket with flap. I like pockets that close and don't have to worry about losing anything. I would like a mat black version. Keep the dividers in the large pockets. That's how i organize things. Need a safe spot to put my glasses case. And a spot to hold a small lunch 🍔. Bonus pocket on the shoulder strap for chapstick.
Small bag - yes to handle and a little taller. Side pockets needs to be tall enough for a pen to clip on to the edge, and can hold a chocolate bar when empty. It has the right number of pockets. Add a divider or extra pocket in the front pocket for those who are not going to use the marker holder.
I'll still buy both bags no matter the changes.
Yes to a handle on the little one but it doesn't necessarily need to be on the top. It could be on the back top so its a little hidden. Suggestion for both though. How about an elastic strap on the back of both so you can slide them over your rolling suitcase handle when traveling. That's also why I want the handle on the little one because I will totally use it to put it onto my rolling LLBean backpack. I think I agree with wanting it all matte.
Also, I'm ALL here for a chocolate colored option!
I think you should have an interchangable marker and brush holder for maybe paint/ watercolor artist on the go whos painbrushes wouldnt fit so well in the marker one. Perhaps a charcoal gray for the color of the bag would be nice!
I have a habit of drawing/painting on all of my bags so maybe having a lighter color version would be better if it's possible to have multiple colorways
I’ve been thinking about the texture of the bag. Obviously I haven’t felt it yet but it would be nice to have a satisfying feeling when you touch it. Something like soft leather? Maybe a Jean-like texture? Idk 🤷♀️

Can you add a zipper to the bottom of the instant access pocket? So you can slide the telescopic handle of a carry-on luggage through it.
I like the extra insert pocket, in truth, more pockets the merrier it is for me! And no matter what is chosen for the final design I will get both these bags, as they are both beautiful and functional as all get up. Great Job!!
Suggestion: for the small bag have one side be able to stretch out farther for a waterbottle and the other side for a phone. Unfortunately too many women's clothes don't have real pockets, so cell phone and slim wallet needs to go into a bag. But having the phone on the outside makes it easier to get to when it rings. If not a phone, it could be used for a small sketchpad and pencil (if there is a pencil loop to keep it from falling out).
idk if this is a little out there, but i think 2 tone might also look good. First ones to come to mind are mint greenish canvas with forest green flap, as well as a kinda burnt orange/red color with black flap. But i defenitly think color opitions should be avaliable. I have been waiting for this video tho and can't wait till the bags are released!

I think a good way to add colour would be to have a version where the lid flap to the bags was the same colours as the mural which has been embossed on the lid to ad colour with the rest of the bag just being black. You could also have Botha coloured version and a fully black version then artists can choose what they like. I also think another great idea would be to have the entire bag in a canvas colour and material then the individual artist who buys the bag can then customise by painting or drawing on the bag themselves and making it their own.

1.I like the big bag but I dnt like the shiny leather for it.
2. The back is ok and the laptop part is ok.
3. The more pockets the better but ensure things do not fall out when turned upside down HATE THAT
4. The 3 pockets at the front is okay but it is a good suggestion to change the zip location.
FOR THE SMALL BAG
1. It is okay but give it the hand held handle for people who need it.
2. The smaller bag seems to be more for the art tools right? If it is, why not make it open up like an art kit. Why have it so similar to the big one?
3. I think the small one should be able to hold tools perfectly, full access to everything at once but yet still be a bag and tool kit in one.
Backpack straps on the little one would be great. Shoulder bags swing around and flop in your way when bending down and doing things. A top handle on the smaller on would be great too. I’d consider expanding or ditching the mini side pockets. If it doesn’t hold a drink bottle it really had no purpose (who carries an exposed ruler while travelling around?).
Making the smaller one taller for A4 documents and sketchbooks would be super great.
Agree with the shiny vegan leather being replaced with something more durable and matte.
That flap not closing when the small bag has the iPad pro in it would drive me nuts. I want to fit as much as possible into a bag and still have it close and be secure.
I Love the small bag, but it definitely needs more height to fit a sketchbook. I’d also love to see if you can fit the iPad and a sketchbook into it. I’d love color choices, maybe even one that has the original graffiti colours!! ❤❤❤ Also, it would be great if the small bag had a pen/brush holder insert additional to or alternatively to the marker holder, maybe as an add on
I was thinking something similar, maybe a small insert that can go into the side pocket, that is too small for a water bottle that could separate your pens a bit
handle on the small bag is a good idea and padding on the shoulder straps for both bags. i use shoulder bags a lot and if it has weight to it then the strap tends to dig in to the skin and hurt (yes i have a lot of things even in small bags :P). And i would still like if one of the sides to the small bag was for waterbottles. other than that i agree with all of Robs suggestions and points.
Here's a question, is there a good pocket where the unused shoulder strap/s for satchel or backpack mode can be kept so that you can switch them out depending on how your going throughout the day/increasing in load your carrying?

Watercolor artists would definitely appreciate a side pocket stretchy enough (More elastic for the side seams) for a water bottle.

Completely agree with you on getting rid of the pocket in the laptop compartment. It doesn't make sense to have it there. It would just get caught and rip if someone isn't uber careful with it. And the little bag needs a handle. it's makes for easier for transport.

True enough. But the pocket seen in the video didn’t look large enough to hold a tablet. An e-reader, maybe. But for that, I would keep it in the main section.
If you’re dealing with faux leather the colors could be the black of course but then you could have a light and dark brown, a red tone and a blue tone. I know myself would have a hard time picking between the black or a red or a blue tone. I just love how these are turning out
I'm on the bandwagon with the shiny leather being too shiny. I think the side pocket if it's intended to be a drink bottle holder could be mesh or have an eyelet style hole in the bottom as drink bottles produce condensation and that can set up a mould situation that no one wants to deal with! I'm with the suggestions for colour options as who wants to be wearing the same bag to the party??? I'd also like to see the padding on the shoulder strap be mobile so I could adjust it depending on HOW I had it over my shoulder. I love that there is plenty of pockets inside which I would use for my laptop and notebooks as I'm a writer. Can't wait to see it being released!
Please test run the bags with your whole team? There is a couple of different types, they might all have some great feedback for how it feels to stuff, carry and use.
And do try and stuff it with a verity of different things to make sure it works for multiple objects.
You mention having a laptop, but maybe also try out different tech objects, so when it is for sale i for example would like to know how big a laptop/pen-tablet/tablet/iPad i can carry around + size and thickness of a sketchbook!

I think that inner pocket on the outside body-close pannel should just be switched to the other side if kept, or moved to the inside somewhere else. Can the small bags flap come in BRIGHT colours and be detachable? That way you can customise the look depending on the occasion, creating a unique USP.
